Language In The Korean Language
The Korean language contains unique characteristics that differentiate it from thousands of other
languages. While writing and speaking in languages are typically synonymous with each other, the
two structures themselves differently in the Korean language. Without the knowledge of the difference
between writing and speaking in Korean, becoming fluent in the language can prove to be a difficulty
(P. S. Hsiang, pg. 1). The intimidating and strenuous format of the language creates an easier
understanding, despite its paradoxical appearance. However, the function of the format makes
conversing and expressing oneself much quicker and easier; toddlers between the ages of two and
three retain the ability to state their thoughts and feelings, while most Americans who are taught
English can only speak following a two word format that only consists of nouns and possible
prepositions. Koreans who are taught Hangul can link these two ideas together, and develop quickly
enough later in life to master the language by age 4 (Korean Overseas Information Service, pg. 1).
These quick milestone achievements that Koreans experience when learning Hangul owes itself to its
structure; their alphabet splits itself into consonants and vowels, each section only having around 10
14 letters. The combination of the two divisions creates a quicker understanding when kids
differentiate between what letters to use in a word, as opposed to English s homogenous 26 letters we
must choose from. The history and cleverness behind the creation of Hangul find itself at the
beginning of rich Korean history, with their 14th century king, Sejong the Great, also complemented
with their language variation, and honorifics. The beginning of the Korean language starts off with the
creation of the Korean alphabet. During the 14th century, around 1440 of the Yi Dynasty, King Sejong
composed of their writing system, which had about 28 symbols. Before Hangul was produced, the
writing system that represented Korea during the period were Chinese characters. Although the
Koreans didn t speak actual Chinese, they borrowed their characters to embody the verbalization of a
native Korean. Despite the Chinese characters being the language for Koreans, only the most

Spanking As A Discipline Essay
A Midland mother is demanding justice after her child was allegedly slapped in the face. The report of
child abuse was filed in June, a week after Tyverious Mackey s birthday. In any case anger should
never result to violence (Williams). Even though kids should be disciplined but not to the point of
beating them, discipline such as spanking is a must because punishing them will make them a better
person and teaches kids that the adults are in control. Although kids should be disciplined there s a
difference between beating a child and disciplining them. For instance, spanking is a light punishment
and should not be used for every occasion. When one beats a child, whatever the intention, they know
the child will get seriously hurt and is done with malice. ( Do You Think Spanking ). In other words,
this explains that parents should not frequently spank their children, and should talk to them before
spanking them all the time. Another example that shows that kids should be disciplined but not to the
point of beating them is, just like a police officer, they do not need to be angry to enforce a rule or law.
( Spanking As A Discipline ). This refers to a parent not needing to take ... Show more content on

Identically, children learn that the reason for their discipline is to get their attention, and change their
behavior. ( Spanking As A Discipline ). With this in mind this leads to the children actually wanting to
change and be a better person. Another example that shows that s punishing them will make them a
better person is that spanking puts a stop to a behavior, but doesn t change a child s decision.
Additionally, when one spanks a kid the intention is so the child knows of the consequences of their
bad behavior. ( Do You Think Spanking ). In other words, when disciplining a child, the intention is to

Automatic Fertilizers Affect The Economy
stabilizers are corporate and personal taxes as they can greatly affect the economy. Another great
example of them are are transfer system such as unemployment insurance and welfare (Investopedia).
These are called automatic because of how they employ automatically without the government
interfering. For example, with the transfer systems such as unemployment insurance decline when the
economy is in an expansionary phase and doing very well and rise when the economy is doing not as
good and in a very bad phase(Investopedia). Another great example is taxes when the economy is in a
boom and signs are looking very good then taxes go up and when the economy is struggling taxes go

With cyclical deficit the GDP slows or inflation increases. It shrinks and gets smaller when GDP
accelerates or inflation decreases. The deficit in cyclical deficit grows when the economy goes into
recession and declines when we come out of a recession. This effects many things for example when
the economy is slowing down and not doing very well then tax revenues decline, unemployment
benefits rise, and other transfer payments rise. This causes an even higher budget deficit. However,
when the economy is accelerating and doing very well then tax revenues increase, unemployment
benefits decrease, and other transfer payments decline then the economy starts heading the right way.
Structural deficits are a little different in the fact that they are federal revenues at full employment
minus expenses at full employment under prevailing fiscal policy. Structural deficits reflect the
discretionary fiscal policies decisions. This deficit is created by congress by drawing up, creating, and
implementing fiscal policies. However, part of the deficit does arise from cyclical changes the rest of
it though does come from discretionary fiscal policy. So many times the congress has a direct effect on
the budget deficit as there fiscal polices do create a huge deficit. Sure sometimes those polices are
very important but they are

Clean Development Mechanism ( Cdm )
The UK has/have set particular targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is presented in four
different time periods, in addition, only the first carbon budget has been completed. The UK is
currently in the progress of the second budget, which is 2013 to 2017. Meeting carbon budget is not
the same as reducing emissions as the budget refers only to some sources of emissions. The price of
carbon has recently been very low and, as a result, the governments have introduced carbon tax in the
Finance Act of 2011.The Carbon Floor Price (CFP) is a top up tax, it exists to boost the existing EU
price of carbon (Webster, 2013). Only electricity producers can top up tax if the market price falls
below a certain level as electricity producers use carbon fuels. (Rudd, Greenhouse gas emissions,
2013)
Clean development mechanism (CDM) is the second market based Kyoto mechanism, under the
Kyoto Protocol. According to (Clean Development Mechanism , 2014) CDM allows a country with an
emission reduction or emission limitation commitment under the Kyoto Protocol . In addition, CDM
encourages developing countries to reduce greenhouse gases and meet sustainable development
objectives, which may be to improve air and water quality. Offsetting help deals with environmental
problems. Middlemen companies are called offset firms, which predicts a company s emissions.
Subsequently then helps by offering companies with opportunities to invest in emission reduction
projects. CDM identifies

Los Angeles Research Paper
Personally I think that Los Angeles is the best place to live in among the suggested cities. I will
mention both advantages and disadvantages of living there and compare LA with another major
American cities.
To start with, I should say that apart from my own liking for this place, there are a lot of important
features of living in this city which make one s life better. First of all, the population density in LA,
which is about 3040/km2, is quite high, but in contrast with Chicago, where the density is about
4447/km2, the city is not overpopulated, and it is not as densely populated as New York, where the
density is 160/km2. So, Los Angeles is the golden mean. The weather is also very pleasant: one won t
die from heat in summer as it is only 25C, while the average July high temperature in ... Show more

In winter it is 9,4 degrees above zero, which is far warmer than the average January temperatures in
NY and especially in Chicago. However, the average January low temperature in Miami is still higher
than LA s temperature, as it is 15 degrees above zero. In addition, Los Angeles has the lowest rainfall
index among the given cities, so there s not much of a chance of catching a cold, and the biggest
amount of sunny days. As you can see, the weather conditions in LA are wonderful and definetely
count as an advantage of living in Los Angeles. Furthermore, in comparison with Miami and Dallas
crime indexes, the crime index in LA is not very high. On the other hand, it is a pity that the air quality
in Los Angeles is incredibly bad as it is only 1 point out of 100, which makes the air quality index in
LA the lowest, whereas Miami has 65,3 points and Dallas has 32,3. Unfortunately, the cost of living in
Los Angeles is rather high, exceeding the average USA cost 1.5 times and being only a bit lower than
in New York. However, the sales tax in LA is not very big in contrast with Chicago and NY s indexes.

How Did Gerald Nye Create A Strong Sense Of Isolationism
At the heart of the Great Depression in the early 1930s, America had remained extremely isolationist.
The United States was focused on domestic issues, and improving the economy with Roosevelt s New
Deal programs. FDR also succeeded in improving America s relations with Latin America in his good
neighbor policy, which renounced armed intervention. Across the globe, various totalitarian regimes
were emerging, such as Mussolini, Stalin, and Hitler. These powerful leaders began to militarize and
expand their borders. The United States sought to stay out of any European affairs, and remain in its
storm cellar . However, in the years leading up to World War II, America s long lasting isolationism
was challenged by growing interventionist sentiment ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As early as 1932, the United States began warning Japan about its aggression toward China (Doc. A).
The U.S. claimed they would not recognize new territories because it violated the Kellogg Briand Pact
that made war illegal. They also chose to not recognize new treaties as the open door policy with
China was violated. FDR would later deliver his famous Quarantine Speech regarding the Japanese
invasion of China in which he encouraged the peace loving nations to take action against military
expansionism (Doc. 1). FDR also called for a quarantine of Japan through economic embargoes. At
this point, Roosevelt is still staying neutral, but is putting emphasis on morally siding against fascist
nations. This speech was the first action that ticked the isolationists off, as FDR seemed to be hinting
towards internationalism. Later that year, Japan would go on to sink an American gunboat, the Panay.
Japan quickly apologized and neutrality was kept once again. After war broke out and France quickly
fell, Britain was desperate for help. Roosevelt responded by trading 50 destroyers for eight valuable
bases, a negotiation known as the Destroyer Deal (Doc. 2). This was Roosevelt s first step away from
neutrality, and he wasn t stopping there. After shattering the two term tradition in the Election of 1940,
Roosevelt went on to pass the Lend Lease Act. This stated

The Issue of Loss Essay
Elizabeth Bishop s poem One Art deals with the issue of loss. Describing loss as an art, Bishop depicts
events, originating with common affairs such as losing a key. As the poem goes on, the losses Bishop
mentions surely grow in importance. As they gradually become more emotional, Bishop s idea of loss
as easily mastered becomes vaguely delusional. In her poem, Elizabeth Bishop focuses the simple
losses in her life in attempts to conceal the true emotion of loss.
From the simplicity of losing a door key to the heartbreak of losing a home or someone dear, Bishop
states and restates that loss isn t difficult to acquire. Loss is, in fact, a commodity in life things are lost
every day. The loss of a possession is expected, as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The art of losing isn t hard to master.
This reoccurring line at first hinted that loss is easily gained. Though, as Bishop s poem progresses, its
meaning shifts into a masquerade, as a mere coping mechanism, that Bishop uses to convince herself
of. Coping with loss morphs into state of denial at this point similar to situations in which one
promises not to cry, even though they indeed end up crying. By saying the art of losing isn t hard to
master she also contrarily prompting that the art of losing is genuinely arduous.
In the last two stanzas, Bishop targets more substantial loses, such as cities where she lived (such as
Santos, Brazil, which she inhabited for over a decade), and the loss of a lover. Focusing on the loss of
departing a city, or places with attachment, Bishop forges ahead, aiming to dilute the emotional pain
that follows loss. In the previous stanzas, Bishop has sowed and reaped the hallucinatory thought that
loss can easily be overcome.
Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan t have lied. It s evident the art of losing s not too hard to master though it may look like
(Write it!) like disaster.
The last stanza seeps with hidden emotion. By fondly commenting after you Bishop,

Cyber Warfare And Its Effects On The World
Boom! The kinetic effect of a two thousand pound GBU 31 military designated MK 84 bomb,
possibly with a BLU 109 penetrator on the nose cone with an embedded global positioning system
guidance kit provides obvious visible damage somebody, or something, just fractured into smaller
pieces. The same is not necessarily the case with bellicose actions in the cyber dimension at least not
at first look. Senior leaders as a whole have largely ignored cyber warfare s catastrophic potential due
to the initial invisible physical effects and huge costs associated with protecting our systems and
information. As our reliance on technology grows as exponentially as the technology improves, more
people are finally showing an awareness of the silent boom s threat and its actual fracturing potential,
in part due to protagonists like Richard A. Clarke and Robert K. Knake and their continued warn of
cyber war s devastating potential for first, second, and tertiary effects.
Clarke and Knake use a mixed method research approach in Cyber War to support their hypothesis
that offensive prowess is meaningless without solid defense in cyberspace, and that the United States
need immediately fix our defensive cyber shortfalls, or face apocalyptic doom. Specifically, the
authors define cyber war as actions by a nation state to penetrate another nation s computers or
networks for the purposes of causing damage or disruption. This infers that they are really talking
about warfare and

Laurent Clerc Pioneer Teacher
1785 1869
Laurent Clerc was born in LaBalme, France, on Dec. 26 1785. His father was Mayor of the town and
the family could boast of a long line of magistrates in the Clerc lineage. At the age of one, the infant
fell from a kitchen chair by accident into a nearby fireplace. He was burned on one side of his face and
a fever left him totally deaf. He had uncle also named Laurent Clerc, who heard about the school for
the deaf in Paris. When he was twelve years old, his uncle brought him to Paris and took him in the
Royal Institution for the Deaf. In 1816, his eight year as a teacher, an event happened which changed
the course of his life.

History of Laurent Clerc
There are a lot of firsts that Laurent Clerc accomplished. He was the first deaf teacher in America, the
first deaf person to appear before U.S. Congress in Washington, D.C. to talk about establishing public
schools for the deaf, and the first deaf person to get an honorary M.A. degree from Trinity College.
Clerc was born to a prominent family in the village of LaBalme, France. His father was a notary by
profession and a mayor of the village for 34 years. His mother was the daughter of another notary.
Males in Clercs family held the office of Tubelion (a Royal Commissary) in that village for over 300
years. Clercs family believes that he became deaf after falling from his highchair into the kitchen fire,
but he might have been born deaf. His right cheek was burned from the accident hence the name sign
of brushing two fingers across cheek.
Clerc lived through the French Revolution, witnessing Napoleons rise and fall. In fact, he lived in
England for a while to escape from the turmoil.
Clerc had once been considered to help start a school for the deaf in Russia but was passed over
because he was deaf. He agreed to coe to America for only three years for three reasons: 1) to help
organize a new school for the deaf; 2) to be the first experienced teacher; and 3) to teach others how to
teach deaf. However, he married one of his beautiful, dark eyed, dark haired, slender,

Information From The Caselet, Deep Blue Robotics ( Dbr )...
Response 1:
According to the information from the caselet, Deep Blue Robotics (DBR) might be facing the
following threat:
1. Malicious Software (Malware)
Malware is a class of malicious code that incorporates viruses, worms, and Trojan horses. Specialized
communication tools are used by destructive malwares in order to spread. Malwares could be
distributed by means of email and texts, Trojan horses dropped from web sites, and virus infected
records obtained from peer to peer connections. Malwares looks for existing flaws and loopholes in
the system architecture to make a peaceful and simple entrance.
Head office and manufacturing company resources are connected through Virtual Private Connections
(VPN) which has been setup using Fiber Optic cables; to ensure a secure data transmission between
connected devices. A security threat still exists if either end of the connected devices is infected by a
malware. This can potentially result in loss of information, information damage, or even equipment
damage.
2. Social Engineering
Social engineering is the ability of manipulating people to give up confidential information. The most
common Social Engineering attack is targeted to trick the victim into giving away their passwords or
bank information or having someone access your computer to secretly install a malware which can
access your passwords, bank information and other sensitive information stored in that computer.

Rocks of Ages by Stephen Jay Gould
Rocks of Ages is Stephen Jay Gould s commentary on the conflict between secular scientists and
religious believers who reject scientific theory when in it is disagreement with religious teachings
about nature and origin of the natural world. Certain aspects of his argument hold true, but the
application is impossible and still gives one magisteria a dominance over the other. While it is an
accurate account of historical disagreements and critical views of well known people, his argument is
flawed by human nature. He repeatedly contradicts himself and maintains a bias in favor of scientific
theory. Gould begins the extended essay by explaining the purpose of the novel. The preamble is a
summary of the present war that exists only in people s minds and social practices. He believes that
science and religion cannot be unified or synthesized, but they should not experience conflict, because
science is to define the natural world, and religion the moral aspect. Gould argues that if each realm is
separate, then they should not encounter arguments. He calls this the principle of Non Overlapping
Magisterium or NOMA. The idea is that the fullness of humanity can only be achieved when science
and religion are each allowed to contribute in areas for which that particular mode of thinking is most
appropriate, and restricted from interfering in domains for which it is not. His largest supporting
illustration is given by comparison to the also non overlapping domain of art. Most

Pros And Cons Of Residential Solar Power
This project is to identify the feasibility of residential solar power applications for the end user, and
any pros/cons and cost analysis of any such undertaking. We will compile existing data to identify
how much grid electricity the average US household uses, how much they pay per kilowatthour
(kWh), and compare it to the cost of installing solar power system. Taking into consideration
environmental effects, government incentives, and pure electricity cost savings over time, we will
demonstrate that every American would benefit by moving from grid electricity to solar power, even if
opting for a partial grid or grid tie in solar system.

Solar power is not consistent or reliable enough to be the only option for power. This technology relies
totally on the sun so certain days we will be able to produce more power than others and at night we
might not be able to produce any. Which is why we will not be able to completely sever the tie to
conventional power generation. There has to be a method available to generate enough power to meet
demand without available sunlight. Although as technology progresses we may soon be able to
generate power from solar sources 24 hours a day. Modern solar power towers are being designed to
store excess heat transfer medium underground during the day as its heated and recycling it at night to
continue to generate steam for power production (Mills, 2004). But even with this ability we will not
be able to go solely to solar power but it can still supplement existing power and drastically reduce the

A Rose For Emily Grierson Home Analysis
The Grierson household is an important key factor to A Rose For Emily. The theme of the whole story
is being unable to let go of the past. The house provides a place for Emily to theoretically be frozen in
time. The house symbolized the past, and it was sort of like a sanctuary for Emily. The townspeople
held the Grierson family to such a high standard, this had a huge affect on Emily. As time progressed,
society inevitably became more advanced. Emily obviously wanted to remain in the past for as long as
possible, so she isolated herself in her home away from the world. The Grierson house was a safe
haven for Emily. It was place for her to avoid the present. This something turned her house into a
prison. She had nowhere else to go but home,

The Mower By Philip Larkin
The Mower Analysis Essay The poem The Mower by Philip Larkin is short a yet complex poem that
addresses a large and important theme in a simple and beautiful way. This poem has a main theme of
kindness and carefulness; a central theme that occurs in many of Larkin s poems. Philip Larkin was an
english poet born in august of 1922 and rose to fame in 1955 with his second book of poems. Larkin
utilizes literary devices and pauses to explain how we should be kind, friendly and careful of a all
living things while we have the chance. The inspiration behind this poem came to Larkin when he had
the the very same experience as described in the poem; he killed a hedgehog with his lawnmower.
This poem is the product of that experience and it shares Larkins thoughts on how each and every
person should act. By understanding the context in which the poem was written it is much easier to
understand the meaning and theme that the poet was trying to get across. With the knowledge of when
and how Larkin wrote this poem we can infer that that the central theme really is being kind and
friendly to all creature before we run out of time. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

lines into smaller chunks and causes the reader to pause. The effect of this is huge because it forces the
reader to focus on certain words such as killed, making them stand out more and have a larger effect

An Analysis Of Wuthering Heights
The role of women in the world of literature has typically taken a back seat to that of men. However,
the women in the stories of Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and Medea by Euripides don t easily
compromise to the bidding of their male counterparts. In both stories, before any female took the
initiative to go against a male individual, women were oppressed, influenced, and culturally subjected
by the actions of the male populace. There is a clear and distinct mistreatment of women in the two
texts, however it serves to better improve their advancement as it is in their backlash and resistance
towards male disposition that causes them to become culturally revolutionary and significant.

Heathcliff could have easily punished her for speaking out against him, which she was most likely

measures that could have followed. In performing all of these actions, Isabella displays a beat to your

Fog In Charles Dickens
Charles Dickens diplomatically uses symbolism throughout the novel to portend upcoming conflicts.
The horses with drooping heads and tremulous tails (16) struggled to march up the harsh conditions of
the lofty hill. The horses embodies King Louis XIV, Queen Marie Antoinette, and aristocrats of
France. The rulers and aristocrats eventually face death due to the dissatisfaction of the people about
the dying economy. The horses drooping heads epitomizes the King, Queen, and the aristocrats heads
under the guillotine, which leads to their appalling death. As the passengers of the carriage, along with
the horses, trudged up the the precipitous hill, they had to walk through a curtain of fog that was
enough to shut out everything from the light (16). The fog best exemplifies the unpredictable future of
the aristocrats because they ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As the passengers and company hiked up the steep hill, they mashed their way through the thick mud
(16). The thick mud prefigures the difficulties and conflicts the aristocrats have to face in the end for
ignoring the suffering and poverty of the people around them. The story takes place on a Friday night
in November, one thousand seven hundred and seventy five (17). Dickens chose a night in November
because the month has more dark and gloomy weather and color during the day than luminous and

The Moon Compare To The Moons Of Other Planets
Project 1: How Does the Moon Compare to the Moons of Other Planets
Earth s moon did not always exist. According to a theory known as the Big Whack, a roving planetoid,
Theia, and the ancient Earth were on the same plane in the solar system. Theia, which is believed to
have been at least the size of Mars, collided with the ancient Earth approximately 4.5 billion years
ago. The resulting debris, material from the ancient Earth s mantle, is what is said to have formed our
current day moon. All of the debris broke off of the ancient Earth and proceeded to fill the air. All of
this debris then eventually congealed and formed a solid moon.
When making a comparison between our moon and those of other planets it is interesting to view the
number of moons each planet has, their size, and their proportion of mass as compared to the planet.
Within the terrestrial planets, Mercury and Venus do not have moons, Earth has one moon, and Mars
has two. Earth has only one moon and this moon is only 1.2% of the mass of Earth. Mars has two
moons and they are 0.00002% of the mass of the planet. The Jovian planets have a much larger
number of moons. Jupiter has sixty seven, Saturn has fifty three, Uranus has twenty seven, and
Neptune has thirteen. Jupiter s many moons are 0.013% of the mass of the planet as a whole. Saturn s
moon are 0.04% of the planet s mass. Uranus moons comprise 0.01% of the mass of the planet.
Finally, Neptune s moons make up 0.02% of the planet s

The Reflection Of The Sugar Cubes
Once upon a time, there was a sugar cube. One day it caught a glimpse of itself in a silver teaspoon.
After seeing it s reflection, it became very curious about itself and began to wonder about existence
and it s purpose in life. The little piece of sugar thought for a long time about how to find the answer.
It looked to the bowl that had held it and kept it safe all it s life. Who better to pose this question to?
So it called out to the sugar bowl. Sugar bowl, what am I? The sugar bowl replied You are a square
piece of sweetener. You have a limited time until you become stale and crumble into dust. Learn how
to sweeten, that is your only purpose in this life. So the sugar cube practiced being sweet and became
so sparkly with sweetness you could almost see a light glowing inside the cube. Becoming sparkly
was helping the other cubes that shared the sugar bowl. The sparkly cube always had positive words
for the other cubes and encouraged them to become as sweet as they could. The cube knew it was a
duty to serve the bowl of cubes and was humble in doing so. It was careful about not doing harm even
when some of them blamed the sparkly cube. Even when it knew about this negative talk, the cube
saw everything in itself and itself in everything so wanted for each cube what it wanted for itself. The
sparkly cube was the same inwardly as it was outwardly. Once you knew the sparkly cube, you knew
it was for real. You could trust it because its words always reflected its actions.

Nigeria Economic Outlook
Introduction
This document will discuss economic concerns of Nigeria. Specially addressed will be the following:
Nigeria s economic outlook, gross domestic product, inflation, and deprecation of the naira. This
paper will conclude with a summary of this discussion.
Nigeria Economic Outlook
Nigeria s parliament approved the 2017 budget in May. The economy falling from low oil prices,
which have led to recession, a plummeting naira and a spike in inflation, the budget aims to jumpstart
growth by ramping up capital spending on roads, rail, ports and power. The significant fiscal shortfall
is set to be plugged by a mixture of loans and bonds, although with foreign investors skittish, the
government may have to turn to more domestic financing, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Clearly a lot needs to be done to make tax compliance less onerous for the average taxpayer.
Inflation
Nigeria s consumer prices increased 17.24 percent year on year in April of 2017, easing slightly from
a 17.26 percent rise in the prior month. The inflation rate fell for the third straight month to the lowest
in nine months, led by a slowdown in prices of housing and utilities and transport (Wilson, David,
Inyiama, Beatrice, 2014). annual core inflation rate was 14.75 percent, the lowest since April last year.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased 1.60 percent. Inflation Rate in Nigeria averaged 12.38
percent from 1996 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 47.56 percent in January of 1996 and a
record low of 2.49 percent in January of 2000. Compared to April of 2016, prices went up at a slower
pace for housing and utilities (16.05 percent vs 18.85 percent) and transport (14.91 percent vs 15.43
percent). Meanwhile, cost rose faster for food (19.30 percent vs 18.44 percent), including bread
,cereals, meat, fish, potatoes, yams and other tubes, coffee, tea and cocoa, milk cheese, eggs, oils and
fats. Yet, food inflation hit the highest since February of 2009. Also, prices advanced for clothing and
footwear (17.10 percent vs 16.65 percent), furniture and household equipment (12.84 percent vs 12.47
percent), health (10.66 percent

The Role Of Chief Role Of Chief Financial Officer
GC3 was established with the purchase of fourteen Coffee Hut stores in Columbus, OH, by three
former Coffee Hut associates. Over the next few years, GC3 expanded into Cincinnati and Cleveland,
but have kept Columbus as their regional headquarters. Moving forward, GC3 grew with the purchase
of Great Scoops and DaDeli. Due to this extreme growth, and the need for centralized decision
making, most of GC3 staff will reside at the company s headquarters, aside from store managers and
administrative staff.
With the continued growth, it is important to develop a corporate structure. The three forerunners of
GC3 are Tony, Bruce and Bonnie. Tony has taken the role of Chief Financial Officer. To be successful,
Tony will need to build a team to meet the demands of the entire organization. Since Tony works at
headquarters, a proposed IT and Accounting group will report to him. These added responsibilities
will create a need for Tony to have one main direct report, a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager
will directly manage the newly added IT department and Accounting department. Since headquarters
will be responsible for all accounting functions throughout the organization, an AP/AR clerk will
directly report to the Accounting and Payroll Specialist. With the many new proposed software
additions, an IT person will be needed. IT will reside at headquarters and have the capabilities to
remotely access all PC s at any given time to monitor and troubleshoot technology issues.

Applications And Challenges Of The Rfid System On Roads
Applications and Challenges of the RFID System on Roads
Summary
RFID labeling is an ID framework that uses radio frequency identification devices for ID and
following purposes. A RFID labeling framework incorporates the label itself, a read/compose gadget,
and a host framework application for information accumulation, handling, and transmission. A RFID
label (once in a while called a RFID transponder) comprises of a chip, some memory and a radio wire.
RFID labels that contain their own energy source are known as dynamic labels. Those without a force
source are known as detached labels. A latent tag is quickly initiated by the radio frequency (RF)

RFID systems are presently perceived as one an examination range of need. Research exercises
identified with RFID innovation have been blasting as of late. Various continuous undertakings are
being financed in Asia, Europe, and North America. As indicated by driving business sector experts,
the improvement of the RFID business sector is anticipated to increment from around $3 billion in
2005 to $25 billion in 2015. A few nations have devoted advancement projects to bolster and create
RFID frameworks and related innovations: the RFID activity in Taiwan, Ubiquitous Japan and the
NSF SBIR program in the USA. The RFID innovation before being stretched out to communicating

Character Transformation In The Road
In the beginning of The Road, the boy undoubtedly trusts and depends on his father. Throughout the
journey, the boy begins to question if his father is really telling the truth, and he begins to tell when his
father is lying. For example, the man would tell the boy stories and in the beginning, he enjoyed
listening to them, but at the end of the novel, he didn t want to hear them because he thought they
were lies. Also, the boy at the end of the novel does not rely on his father, as he is able to move on
from the man dying. Both of these changes show the boy s opinion and character transformation that
relied on the journey in The Road.

Women’s Suffrage Movement of Europe
Throughout history, women have struggled for equality in all parts of the world. European women
fought for suffrage for an extremely long period of time before they were granted full voting rights.
Each country approved women s suffrage at different times, but it occurred in most European
countries in the early 20th century. The first country to develop universal suffrage was Finland in the
year 1906( Women s Suffrage in Europe ). One of the last countries to become open about women s
voting rights was Switzerland, who didn t grant women suffrage until 1971( Women s Suffrage in
Europe ). One of the main reasons why women desired the right to vote was because they wanted to
be able to vote for new laws that would eliminate their social ... Show more content on

Although the United Kingdom was not the first European country to grant women s suffrage, the
movement was much more successful than those in other nations. The supporters of the movement
formed the National Union of Women s Suffrage and hoped to show that women could be respectable
and responsible in their political activity (The Western Heritage). The British women s suffrage
movement was more advanced than the ones in France and Germany. Hubertine Auclert was alone in
her efforts to get women s suffrage in France in the 1880 s. The National Council of French Women
did not fight for women s right to vote until years after it was formed.
Germany had many laws against political activity for women (The Western Heritage). Therefore, the
suffrage movement was very underdeveloped. Another reason why the women s suffrage movement
was not very popular in Germany is because the political organizations did not have very much power
and influence in politics. Many women did not feel that having more power in these organizations
would help them at all. However, as the years passed, the Union of German Women s Organizations
was founded. This organization focused largely on education for women and improving their social
conditions. Women were not granted voting rights until Germany was defeated in war in 1919(The
Western Heritage).

Strengths And Weaknesses Of Lo Essay
Louis XIV and Peter the Great
Both Louis XIV and Peter the Great were famous rulers of the late 17th early 18th Centuries. Both
took the throne at a young age and both had many strengths and weaknesses. Louis XIV had many
strengths during his reign as ruler of France. Appointing Jean Baptiste Colbert as his minister of
finance made some of his greatest strengths and accomplishments. One strength was that of
mercantilism, which is an economic theory under which a country increases its wealth by exporting
more goods than it imports. By accomplishing this, Louis XIV made himself and France very wealthy.

artists, and brought their work into Versailles. His palace housed many people, including 1,000 nobles
and their 4,000 servants in the palace s 226 rooms. Another 5,000 servants were housed in nearby
annexes.
In addition to his strengths, Louis XIV had weaknesses. After Colbert died, Louis made one mistake
that undid all of his work. He revoked Edict of Nantes who protected the religious freedom of the
Huguenots. Instead of being imprisoned, more than 200,000 Huguenots fled from France. The country
lost many of its skilled workers and business leaders. Louis XIV also fought many costly wars that
caused his people great suffering. Many of the wars left France on the brink of bankruptcy.
Peter the Great had many strengths, but his best was he modernized Russia. By seeing Europe, he
changed many things. He changed the calendar so the New Year would be January 1. He increased
agriculture by growing new crops and increased the number of factories in Russia. He also started the
first Russian newspaper and enlarged their army to 200,000 men. He also got a warm water port for
his window on the sea.
A big weakness for Peter the Great was he ignored and abused the people of his country. Many of the
changes were for the sake of increasing his own power. He ordered many

During week two, Cheyanne only took karate class on Wednesday. She started off her week by giving
her mother trouble while getting ready for school in the mornings, and an overall lack of discipline

class that day, and her focus and studies show great improvement. Her mother also recorded that her
respect, discipline, and control had greatly increased on Wednesday compared to the start of the week.
It was also recorded that the day after she took her class, Cheyanne showed great improvement in her
behavior. Towards the end of the week, Cheyanne s behavior slowly began to drop back to arguing

The Living Dead
The introduction of zombies into this world has led many people to want to know about their
appearance, behavior, and weaknesses. Zombies are one of the most well known creatures in the world
today. Many people believe they are just a myth, but others have concluded that they are real. Fiction
or not, zombies are interesting enough to make people want to learn more about them.
The belief in zombies originated in the Haitian culture. The Haitians strongly believed in witchcraft
and Voodoo magic. They assumed that priests called bokors could turn a person into a zombie with a
powder containing a deadly poison. Several people would hire bokors to turn a person into a zombie if
they did not like him ( Zombies ). Bokors often turned the deceased into zombies if the person broke a
law during his lifetime. Zombies were also created for slavery. Being turned into a zombie was
considered a harsh punishment to receive. Although the Haitians concluded that zombies were real,
many other countries suspected that zombies were just a myth (Radford).
Although zombies are formed from dead humans, they have hardly any similarities in appearance. A
zombie s face consists of the same characteristics as a human s, but a zombie s skin has become ruined
due to decomposition. Their eyes appear to be much different once they have become a zombie. Their
pupils are shaded white. Zombies are also different from humans in the way they maneuver. While
humans normally move very easily, zombies have a

Westernization Is The Result Of The Contact Between...
Westernization is the result of the contact between western and non western cultures. Beginning in the
fifteenth century and playing out until the nineteenth century, colonialism and neo imperialism by
means of the Euro Atlantic economy s authority, played a major part in the spread of western culture.
For example, even after decolonizing and becoming their own countries with their own governance,
many former colonies adopted aspects of western politics, even if they firmly opposed other aspects of
western culture. Twentieth century and twenty first century globalization took various forms. In the
1950s, there was accelerated postwar globalization through American and European multinational
corporations, like McDonald s and mcdonaldization throughout the world. Then, beginning in 1970,
the rise of industrializing economies meant the international division of labor, with low wage and high
wage zones, and in the 1980s, the United States took on an important role in neoliberal globalization
through the Washington Consensus, a reform package designed by Washington D.C. comprised of a
set of specific economic policy prescriptions for critically economically unstable developing
countries, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Bank. In 2000, globalization was
heightened through the emergence of the economies of countries including India, China, Brazil, and
Russia (the BRICs). In recent decades, as opposed to during colonial and recent post colonial times,

  • 2. Language In The Korean Language The Korean language contains unique characteristics that differentiate it from thousands of other languages. While writing and speaking in languages are typically synonymous with each other, the two structures themselves differently in the Korean language. Without the knowledge of the difference between writing and speaking in Korean, becoming fluent in the language can prove to be a difficulty (P. S. Hsiang, pg. 1). The intimidating and strenuous format of the language creates an easier understanding, despite its paradoxical appearance. However, the function of the format makes conversing and expressing oneself much quicker and easier; toddlers between the ages of two and three retain the ability to state their thoughts and feelings, while most Americans who are taught English can only speak following a two word format that only consists of nouns and possible prepositions. Koreans who are taught Hangul can link these two ideas together, and develop quickly enough later in life to master the language by age 4 (Korean Overseas Information Service, pg. 1). These quick milestone achievements that Koreans experience when learning Hangul owes itself to its structure; their alphabet splits itself into consonants and vowels, each section only having around 10 14 letters. The combination of the two divisions creates a quicker understanding when kids differentiate between what letters to use in a word, as opposed to English s homogenous 26 letters we must choose from. The history and cleverness behind the creation of Hangul find itself at the beginning of rich Korean history, with their 14th century king, Sejong the Great, also complemented with their language variation, and honorifics. The beginning of the Korean language starts off with the creation of the Korean alphabet. During the 14th century, around 1440 of the Yi Dynasty, King Sejong composed of their writing system, which had about 28 symbols. Before Hangul was produced, the writing system that represented Korea during the period were Chinese characters. Although the Koreans didn t speak actual Chinese, they borrowed their characters to embody the verbalization of a native Korean. Despite the Chinese characters being the language for Koreans, only the most ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. Spanking As A Discipline Essay A Midland mother is demanding justice after her child was allegedly slapped in the face. The report of child abuse was filed in June, a week after Tyverious Mackey s birthday. In any case anger should never result to violence (Williams). Even though kids should be disciplined but not to the point of beating them, discipline such as spanking is a must because punishing them will make them a better person and teaches kids that the adults are in control. Although kids should be disciplined there s a difference between beating a child and disciplining them. For instance, spanking is a light punishment and should not be used for every occasion. When one beats a child, whatever the intention, they know the child will get seriously hurt and is done with malice. ( Do You Think Spanking ). In other words, this explains that parents should not frequently spank their children, and should talk to them before spanking them all the time. Another example that shows that kids should be disciplined but not to the point of beating them is, just like a police officer, they do not need to be angry to enforce a rule or law. ( Spanking As A Discipline ). This refers to a parent not needing to take ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Identically, children learn that the reason for their discipline is to get their attention, and change their behavior. ( Spanking As A Discipline ). With this in mind this leads to the children actually wanting to change and be a better person. Another example that shows that s punishing them will make them a better person is that spanking puts a stop to a behavior, but doesn t change a child s decision. Additionally, when one spanks a kid the intention is so the child knows of the consequences of their bad behavior. ( Do You Think Spanking ). • 5. Automatic Fertilizers Affect The Economy stabilizers are corporate and personal taxes as they can greatly affect the economy. Another great example of them are are transfer system such as unemployment insurance and welfare (Investopedia). These are called automatic because of how they employ automatically without the government interfering. For example, with the transfer systems such as unemployment insurance decline when the economy is in an expansionary phase and doing very well and rise when the economy is doing not as good and in a very bad phase(Investopedia). Another great example is taxes when the economy is in a boom and signs are looking very good then taxes go up and when the economy is struggling taxes go down to help stabilize and balance the economy out again (Investopedia). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... With cyclical deficit the GDP slows or inflation increases. It shrinks and gets smaller when GDP accelerates or inflation decreases. The deficit in cyclical deficit grows when the economy goes into recession and declines when we come out of a recession. This effects many things for example when the economy is slowing down and not doing very well then tax revenues decline, unemployment benefits rise, and other transfer payments rise. This causes an even higher budget deficit. However, when the economy is accelerating and doing very well then tax revenues increase, unemployment benefits decrease, and other transfer payments decline then the economy starts heading the right way. Structural deficits are a little different in the fact that they are federal revenues at full employment minus expenses at full employment under prevailing fiscal policy. Structural deficits reflect the discretionary fiscal policies decisions. This deficit is created by congress by drawing up, creating, and implementing fiscal policies. However, part of the deficit does arise from cyclical changes the rest of it though does come from discretionary fiscal policy. So many times the congress has a direct effect on the budget deficit as there fiscal polices do create a huge deficit. Sure sometimes those polices are very important but they are ... • 6. Clean Development Mechanism ( Cdm ) The UK has/have set particular targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is presented in four different time periods, in addition, only the first carbon budget has been completed. The UK is currently in the progress of the second budget, which is 2013 to 2017. Meeting carbon budget is not the same as reducing emissions as the budget refers only to some sources of emissions. The price of carbon has recently been very low and, as a result, the governments have introduced carbon tax in the Finance Act of 2011.The Carbon Floor Price (CFP) is a top up tax, it exists to boost the existing EU price of carbon (Webster, 2013). Only electricity producers can top up tax if the market price falls below a certain level as electricity producers use carbon fuels. (Rudd, Greenhouse gas emissions, 2013) Clean development mechanism (CDM) is the second market based Kyoto mechanism, under the Kyoto Protocol. According to (Clean Development Mechanism , 2014) CDM allows a country with an emission reduction or emission limitation commitment under the Kyoto Protocol . In addition, CDM encourages developing countries to reduce greenhouse gases and meet sustainable development objectives, which may be to improve air and water quality. Offsetting help deals with environmental problems. Middlemen companies are called offset firms, which predicts a company s emissions. • 7. Los Angeles Research Paper Personally I think that Los Angeles is the best place to live in among the suggested cities. I will mention both advantages and disadvantages of living there and compare LA with another major American cities. To start with, I should say that apart from my own liking for this place, there are a lot of important features of living in this city which make one s life better. First of all, the population density in LA, which is about 3040/km2, is quite high, but in contrast with Chicago, where the density is about 4447/km2, the city is not overpopulated, and it is not as densely populated as New York, where the density is 160/km2. So, Los Angeles is the golden mean. The weather is also very pleasant: one won t die from heat in summer as it is only 25C, while the average July high temperature in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In winter it is 9,4 degrees above zero, which is far warmer than the average January temperatures in NY and especially in Chicago. However, the average January low temperature in Miami is still higher than LA s temperature, as it is 15 degrees above zero. In addition, Los Angeles has the lowest rainfall index among the given cities, so there s not much of a chance of catching a cold, and the biggest amount of sunny days. As you can see, the weather conditions in LA are wonderful and definetely count as an advantage of living in Los Angeles. Furthermore, in comparison with Miami and Dallas crime indexes, the crime index in LA is not very high. On the other hand, it is a pity that the air quality in Los Angeles is incredibly bad as it is only 1 point out of 100, which makes the air quality index in LA the lowest, whereas Miami has 65,3 points and Dallas has 32,3. Unfortunately, the cost of living in Los Angeles is rather high, exceeding the average USA cost 1.5 times and being only a bit lower than in New York. However, the sales tax in LA is not very big in contrast with Chicago and NY s indexes. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. How Did Gerald Nye Create A Strong Sense Of Isolationism At the heart of the Great Depression in the early 1930s, America had remained extremely isolationist. The United States was focused on domestic issues, and improving the economy with Roosevelt s New Deal programs. FDR also succeeded in improving America s relations with Latin America in his good neighbor policy, which renounced armed intervention. Across the globe, various totalitarian regimes were emerging, such as Mussolini, Stalin, and Hitler. These powerful leaders began to militarize and expand their borders. The United States sought to stay out of any European affairs, and remain in its storm cellar . However, in the years leading up to World War II, America s long lasting isolationism was challenged by growing interventionist sentiment ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As early as 1932, the United States began warning Japan about its aggression toward China (Doc. A). The U.S. claimed they would not recognize new territories because it violated the Kellogg Briand Pact that made war illegal. They also chose to not recognize new treaties as the open door policy with China was violated. FDR would later deliver his famous Quarantine Speech regarding the Japanese invasion of China in which he encouraged the peace loving nations to take action against military expansionism (Doc. 1). FDR also called for a quarantine of Japan through economic embargoes. At this point, Roosevelt is still staying neutral, but is putting emphasis on morally siding against fascist nations. This speech was the first action that ticked the isolationists off, as FDR seemed to be hinting towards internationalism. Later that year, Japan would go on to sink an American gunboat, the Panay. Japan quickly apologized and neutrality was kept once again. After war broke out and France quickly fell, Britain was desperate for help. Roosevelt responded by trading 50 destroyers for eight valuable bases, a negotiation known as the Destroyer Deal (Doc. 2). This was Roosevelt s first step away from neutrality, and he wasn t stopping there. After shattering the two term tradition in the Election of 1940, Roosevelt went on to pass the Lend Lease Act. • 10. The Issue of Loss Essay Elizabeth Bishop s poem One Art deals with the issue of loss. Describing loss as an art, Bishop depicts events, originating with common affairs such as losing a key. As the poem goes on, the losses Bishop mentions surely grow in importance. As they gradually become more emotional, Bishop s idea of loss as easily mastered becomes vaguely delusional. In her poem, Elizabeth Bishop focuses the simple losses in her life in attempts to conceal the true emotion of loss. From the simplicity of losing a door key to the heartbreak of losing a home or someone dear, Bishop states and restates that loss isn t difficult to acquire. This reoccurring line at first hinted that loss is easily gained. Though, as Bishop s poem progresses, its meaning shifts into a masquerade, as a mere coping mechanism, that Bishop uses to convince herself of. Coping with loss morphs into state of denial at this point similar to situations in which one promises not to cry, even though they indeed end up crying. By saying the art of losing isn t hard to master she also contrarily prompting that the art of losing is genuinely arduous. In the last two stanzas, Bishop targets more substantial loses, such as cities where she lived (such as Santos, Brazil, which she inhabited for over a decade), and the loss of a lover. Focusing on the loss of departing a city, or places with attachment, Bishop forges ahead, aiming to dilute the emotional pain that follows loss. In the previous stanzas, Bishop has sowed and reaped the hallucinatory thought that loss can easily be overcome. Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture I love) I shan t have lied. It s evident the art of losing s not too hard to master though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster. The last stanza seeps with hidden emotion. By fondly commenting after you Bishop, ... The kinetic effect of a two thousand pound GBU 31 military designated MK 84 bomb, possibly with a BLU 109 penetrator on the nose cone with an embedded global positioning system guidance kit provides obvious visible damage somebody, or something, just fractured into smaller pieces. The same is not necessarily the case with bellicose actions in the cyber dimension at least not at first look. Senior leaders as a whole have largely ignored cyber warfare s catastrophic potential due to the initial invisible physical effects and huge costs associated with protecting our systems and information. As our reliance on technology grows as exponentially as the technology improves, more people are finally showing an awareness of the silent boom s threat and its actual fracturing potential, in part due to protagonists like Richard A. Clarke and Robert K. Knake and their continued warn of cyber war s devastating potential for first, second, and tertiary effects. Clarke and Knake use a mixed method research approach in Cyber War to support their hypothesis that offensive prowess is meaningless without solid defense in cyberspace, and that the United States need immediately fix our defensive cyber shortfalls, or face apocalyptic doom. Rocks of Ages by Stephen Jay Gould Rocks of Ages is Stephen Jay Gould s commentary on the conflict between secular scientists and religious believers who reject scientific theory when in it is disagreement with religious teachings about nature and origin of the natural world. Certain aspects of his argument hold true, but the application is impossible and still gives one magisteria a dominance over the other. While it is an accurate account of historical disagreements and critical views of well known people, his argument is flawed by human nature. He repeatedly contradicts himself and maintains a bias in favor of scientific theory. Gould begins the extended essay by explaining the purpose of the novel. The preamble is a summary of the present war that exists only in people s minds and social practices. He believes that science and religion cannot be unified or synthesized, but they should not experience conflict, because science is to define the natural world, and religion the moral aspect. Gould argues that if each realm is separate, then they should not encounter arguments. He calls this the principle of Non Overlapping Magisterium or NOMA. The idea is that the fullness of humanity can only be achieved when science and religion are each allowed to contribute in areas for which that particular mode of thinking is most appropriate, and restricted from interfering in domains for which it is not. His largest supporting illustration is given by comparison to the also non overlapping domain of art. Most ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The horses with drooping heads and tremulous tails (16) struggled to march up the harsh conditions of the lofty hill. The rulers and aristocrats eventually face death due to the dissatisfaction of the people about the dying economy. According to a theory known as the Big Whack, a roving planetoid, Theia, and the ancient Earth were on the same plane in the solar system. Theia, which is believed to have been at least the size of Mars, collided with the ancient Earth approximately 4.5 billion years ago. The resulting debris, material from the ancient Earth s mantle, is what is said to have formed our current day moon. All of the debris broke off of the ancient Earth and proceeded to fill the air. All of this debris then eventually congealed and formed a solid moon. When making a comparison between our moon and those of other planets it is interesting to view the number of moons each planet has, their size, and their proportion of mass as compared to the planet. Within the terrestrial planets, Mercury and Venus do not have moons, Earth has one moon, and Mars has two. Earth has only one moon and this moon is only 1.2% of the mass of Earth. Mars has two moons and they are 0.00002% of the mass of the planet. The Jovian planets have a much larger number of moons. Jupiter has sixty seven, Saturn has fifty three, Uranus has twenty seven, and Neptune has thirteen. Jupiter s many moons are 0.013% of the mass of the planet as a whole. On Wednesday her mother recorded that Cheyanne knew she was going to karate class that day, and her focus and studies show great improvement. Her mother also recorded that her respect, discipline, and control had greatly increased on Wednesday compared to the start of the week. It was also recorded that the day after she took her class, Cheyanne showed great improvement in her behavior. Towards the end of the week, Cheyanne s behavior slowly began to drop back to arguing with her brother and not complying with instructions given by her parents. It is obvious that since she took the class in the middle of the week it made her behavior those days much better than the beginning and end of the week. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Potential employers are considered to be in high need for cognition and elaboration, as well as those individuals had chosen to work in an industry that requires self motivation, independent thinking, problem solving and a general interest and involvement in the economy and the labour market. Thus, the communication will follow the elaboration likelihood model (ELM) by Petty and Cacioppo (1986) and specifically concentrate on the central processing route, leading to an attitude change with greater temporal persistence. To activate this route motivation and ability to process the message are established. Then the stepwise elaboration approach to attitude change will be applied, using the previously calibrated data from SJT. The triad of strong arguments leading to three consecutive attitude shifts includes the presentation of the underlying problem of crime, the solution to preventing re offending and the gain from preventing ... • 35. The Living Dead The introduction of zombies into this world has led many people to want to know about their appearance, behavior, and weaknesses. Zombies are one of the most well known creatures in the world today. Many people believe they are just a myth, but others have concluded that they are real. Fiction or not, zombies are interesting enough to make people want to learn more about them. The belief in zombies originated in the Haitian culture. The Haitians strongly believed in witchcraft and Voodoo magic. They assumed that priests called bokors could turn a person into a zombie with a powder containing a deadly poison. Several people would hire bokors to turn a person into a zombie if they did not like him ( Zombies ). Bokors often turned the deceased into zombies if the person broke a law during his lifetime. Zombies were also created for slavery. Being turned into a zombie was considered a harsh punishment to receive. Although the Haitians concluded that zombies were real, many other countries suspected that zombies were just a myth (Radford). Although zombies are formed from dead humans, they have hardly any similarities in appearance. A zombie s face consists of the same characteristics as a human s, but a zombie s skin has become ruined due to decomposition. Their eyes appear to be much different once they have become a zombie. Their pupils are shaded white. Zombies are also different from humans in the way they maneuver. While humans normally move very easily, zombies have a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 36. Westernization Is The Result Of The Contact Between... Westernization is the result of the contact between western and non western cultures. Beginning in the fifteenth century and playing out until the nineteenth century, colonialism and neo imperialism by means of the Euro Atlantic economy s authority, played a major part in the spread of western culture. For example, even after decolonizing and becoming their own countries with their own governance, many former colonies adopted aspects of western politics, even if they firmly opposed other aspects of western culture. Twentieth century and twenty first century globalization took various forms. In the 1950s, there was accelerated postwar globalization through American and European multinational corporations, like McDonald s and mcdonaldization throughout the world. Then, beginning in 1970, the rise of industrializing economies meant the international division of labor, with low wage and high wage zones, and in the 1980s, the United States took on an important role in neoliberal globalization through the Washington Consensus, a reform package designed by Washington D.C. comprised of a set of specific economic policy prescriptions for critically economically unstable developing countries, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Bank. In 2000, globalization was heightened through the emergence of the economies of countries including India, China, Brazil, and Russia (the BRICs). In recent decades, as opposed to during colonial and recent post colonial times, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The 1976 Nobel Peace Prize was jointly awarded to Betty Williams and her partner Mairead Corrigan in 1977 because the Norwegian Nobel Committee decided that the 1976 prize had to be reserved for the following year since none of the year s candidates for the award matched the criteria ( Nobel Peace Prize 1976 ).
