Start:
• Begin with 3-5 questions about veganism; get this from Google by looking up the most common questions to ask a
vegan.
Middle:
• 10-15 all you need to know facts, including some recipes of vegan meals that use meat/dairy substitutes.
• Also include how to cope with being the only vegan in the house hold; why you’re still happy for your children to eat
meat/dairy products.
• Explain how it can be difficult knowing what to buy from a shop and how to know if it’s vegan/what to look for on
the label.
End:
• Finish by explaining why people should consider becoming vegan or at least have one vegan meal per week and see
how they enjoy the new foods they try.
• I’m aiming for my video to be around 4-5 minutes long

What materials and info do you need for your production? The core of a good factual project is doing the background work in
terms of researching the topic and getting the right contributors. Use this and additional slides to collect this. Reference your

I want to include opinions from people who were born
into a vegan family, and their views on never eating
meat as well as people who have transitioned from a
meat eater/vegetarian to a vegan; also I’d like someone
who has to be vegan because of dietary requirements as
I feel that would be an interesting alternative to just
having people who are vegan by choice.
I need to go on Google and find some cartoon
sketches of different figures, even if they’re just stick
men, as my video is going to be a cartoon animation
instead of having real people.
I’d go on YouTube to find some royalty free music for
my production and use lighthearted music and
sounds between sots and edits. I’d use sad, unhappy
music where necessary within my production,
setting the mood for the whole video.
I’d look on some already existing news articles/blog
posts on veganism and see what others have written
about being vegan and what sort of food substitutes
they use when cooking/baking. I’d also look on some
food websites to see what kind of vegan meals they
show recipes for and how they’re made.
