Ashley Boyne presented 5 ideas for children's or holiday-themed desserts and meals including: 1) Christmas desserts with sugar snow, 2) Easter candy carrots, 3) Valentine's vegetarian spaghetti bolognese, 4) vegetarian pizza, and 5) vegetarian fish and chips. Feedback was provided on each idea noting what was liked, what could be improved, and what was interesting. It was agreed that more details on printing processes and designs were needed. While a font for fish and chips may not suit seniors, all other feedback was found agreeable. Ashley's favorite idea submitted and from the team was vegetarian fish and chips as an unusual vegetarian recipe.

What do you like about the idea?
It appeals to kids and is creative. The sugar snow will make the children want
to eat it and will make them think it’s fun to make it.
The choice of font relates to the Christmas theme and is easy to read and
appealing.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
What printing process will be used and more detail about how the cards will
actually look.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
That it appeals to kids and the name.

• Easter themed: Candy carrot coins something
similar to that in the pictures. Carrot desserts
to link it with the Easter bunny idea.

What do you like about the idea?
The interesting recipe that is something different but links to an easter
theme. It’s healthy but will taste sweet and that appeals to children.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The printing process and the colour scheme.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
The recipe and the font that uses Easter bunny pictures.

• Valentine Vegetarian meal: Quorn Spaghetti
Bolognese. Menu colour is red, I will most
likely get a picture offline, although I could use
a recipe similar to the one below if I were to
cook it myself.

The vegetarian meal that would traditionally use meat but can use quorn. It
can appeal to both vegetarians and meat eaters.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The colour scheme and what other meals could be used with this theme.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
The name is interesting and the recipe. I also like the font.

• Vegetarian Pizza
• Pizza aimed at vegetarian who usually aren’t
able to find exciting pizza toppings that are
vegetarian friendly. I would be able to make
these at home and take photographs of the
outcome.

The font is good and will catch the eye of the audience. The recipe is
interesting and will also appeal to the audience.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
What types of toppings will be used and pictures. The printing process could
be described and what colour scheme will be used.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
That you will have recipes with lots of different toppings and you are taking
your own photos.

• Vegetarian Fish & Chips
• Fish and chips aimed at the elderly. I would
take pictures from the internet to use on my
recipe card.
• I will use the ‘chiptones’ font.

That it is vegetarian fish and chips that appeal to an elderly audience.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
I don’t think the font will appeal to the audience and the colour scheme and
design should be described.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
Vegetarian fish and chips won’t have been heard of before.

What do you agree with from your feedback?
That more information on the printing process needs to be included. Also the person
providing feedback may be right in saying that the font possibly being used in the Fish
and Chips recipe card may not be suitable for its target audience.
What do you disagree with from your feedback?
All the feedback has been read and I agree with it completely, all changes will be made
in accordance with the feedback given.

Which idea that you came up with is your favourite and why?
My favourite idea is the vegetarian Fish and Chips as this is not a widely used
vegetarian recipe.
Which idea, that your team came up with, is your favourite and why?
Overall the Fish and Chips idea is the best idea in my opinion. This is because the
recipe is not widely used across England.
