Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

How does your media product represent particular social groups? • Funk is stereotypically seen as a “wild” way of expressing ones self, this is because when an individual is classified as funky they are perceived as different. I could not avoid this stereotype when creating my double page spread. (and also although out the making of my magazine) having said this, I had use this stereotype to demarcate my magazine from every other magazine, as it was my unique selling point. However, having said this, I tried to avoid making this a negative as it would be seen as an “insult” to my target audience. I achieved this th0rough the use of positive quotes such as “its not about the freakish hair, or the ridiculous outfits, its about the individualism” quotes such as this allows funk fans to and non fans to see funk in a positive light, different from the way it was seen as in the 1960.

Through the words used: The words used on my contents page tends to relate to funk, much more than my front cover. “Big Ol’ Nasty…” This is because just like my magazine name (State O’Mind) letters or words have been omitted to suit this music genre. For instance, “This Big Ol’Nasty Issue Includes” misses out the letter “d” to suit the way certain ethnic groups pronouns certain words. Having said all of this, avoiding “Soul”, “mind” certain stereotypes when creating my and “spirit” magazine was inevitable. This was (relating to my because I had to use qualities of my magazine name; audience to relate to them State O’Mind)
- 8. Through the use of images The main image featured on my contents page again identifies a funk stereotype. However, not in a negative way. These images shows two images one which is more aggressive than the other; identifying “funk”. While the other identifies “preppy” This again, perceives funk fans as outspoken, outgoing and different

- 10. Though the use of article title “London; pick up the call” is a declarative. Which immediately attracts the eyes of the readers as it is a command. The audience are shocked by the command (that is if they live in London) This again perceives my audience are outspoken and unique. The use of black and white makes it Use of declarative commands much more believable. This is because it perceives my audience as adds a serious side to it. Making it less authoritative individuals colloquial unlike my contents page and front cover.
- 11. Through the use of quotes 1. Quote 1 adds a sense of unity to font. Which was one of its main aims in the 1960; to help individuals to form a subculture. Having said this, the use of “my own people” relates to the subculture which were form back 2. in the days. Quote 2 identified the true aim of funk “individualism.” I used this quote to tell the true reasons of funk. I did this to try to eliminate the negative stereotypes of funk; as it is only a source of individuality.

Through the use of main image Just like my article title, my image seems to also be declarative (a woman, yelling at the phone) through the use of props and costumes in this image, funk could be described as a controversial music genre. I say this due to the costume in which the character is wearing, which may mot me a norm in the society. Again, this perceives funk fans as being different. However, the quote (at the top right) helps to remove this negative label an subsequently making it positive; as it is only a way in which individual escape form the norms of the society. This identifies my audience (funk fans aged 30 and above) as rebels
