2. • INTRODUCTION
• Sand is the main material in the glass
industry. It is also one of the important
building materials. It is one of the main
components of concrete. It is also used in
mortar and concrete, which is a
secondary component of bricks, bricks
and coatings.

is a sediment just like clay, gravel and silt.
Most common sand-forming mineral is quartz
