3. INTRODUCTION
Energy is regarded as an essential commodity, and consumption has risen in
tandem with the world economy and growing populations.
Currently, fossil fuels are used to meet the majority of energy demands, adding
to environmental problems.
As a result, the appropriate alternative to fossil fuels is necessary to minimize
reliance on energy generation from non-renewable sources
Biofuel is a fuel that is produced over a short time span from biomass, rather
than by the very slow natural processes involved in the formation of fossil fuels,
such as oil
4. INTRODUCTION CONT’D
Biofuel can be produced from plants or from agricultural, domestic or industrial
biowaste
Sawdust is a by-product of furniture manufacturing produced during various
wood processing processes such as grinding, shaving, cutting, and trimming
wood
Pyrolysis of waste furniture boards at high temperatures and slow heating rates is
a potential characteristic for producing value-added chemicals while reducing
the creation of hazardous chemical species
9. CONCLUSION
The demands for fossil fuels are gradually increasing due to the
improvement in technology and its potential benefits over fossil
fuels and the flexibility of feedstocks
Sawdust as a biomass, can play a vital role for the production of
green fuel in a sustainable manner utilizing combination of
membrane technology.
