3. INTRODUCTION
 Energy is regarded as an essential commodity, and consumption has risen in
tandem with the world economy and growing populations.
 Currently, fossil fuels are used to meet the majority of energy demands, adding
to environmental problems.
 As a result, the appropriate alternative to fossil fuels is necessary to minimize
reliance on energy generation from non-renewable sources
 Biofuel is a fuel that is produced over a short time span from biomass, rather
than by the very slow natural processes involved in the formation of fossil fuels,
such as oil

 Biofuel can be produced from plants or from agricultural, domestic or industrial
biowaste
 Sawdust is a by-product of furniture manufacturing produced during various
wood processing processes such as grinding, shaving, cutting, and trimming
wood
 Pyrolysis of waste furniture boards at high temperatures and slow heating rates is
a potential characteristic for producing value-added chemicals while reducing
the creation of hazardous chemical species

membrane technology.
