that enable us to achieve our Mission.
2. Message from the President
On Behalf of the BDPA Cincinnati Chapter
Board of Directors, welcome to the 10th Annu-
al Awards Luncheon.
We are honored to have each of you present to
join us as in celebrating and acknowledging the
volunteers, sponsors, and supporters that have
contributed to the successful execution of the
BDPA mission in our communities. Borrowing
from the phrase our National Vice President, Mike Williams uses when
he speaks on commitment, each honoree highlighted today has given of
their time, talent, and treasury to enable the organizational success and
more importantly, IMPACT, in our communities.
I humbly offer my sincere thanks to all of our volunteers both present and
absent from today’s ceremony. It takes a team of individuals with the
passion and commitment to do what this organization has been able to
accomplish. Your demonstrated commitment has not gone un-noticed.
I also thank the corporate sponsors and supporters that have contribut-
ed to the successes we tout as an organization. Financial, in-kind, and
talent resources provided to the organization are the lifeblood that keeps
this strong body going. The organizations are listed in your program. The
BDPA team and our communities sincerely thank you for your support.
It takes a team of dedicated volunteers to execute the BDPA mission.
From Youth Technology training computer camps, to resume writing, to
monthly informational program meetings where individuals connect with
recruiters, mentors, and peers - all aimed at advancing the career oppor-
tunities of our members “from the classroom to the boardroom”. Such a
simple statement really, moving underserved and minority individuals fur-
ther up the career ladder than they would otherwise have moved on their
own. Isn’t that a cause worth getting behind and supporting? Its you, the
individuals in this room, those being recognized today, and those working
on these objectives tomorrow, that inspire us to do more, be more, and
give more than we did the day before.
1
3. As we stop to say thank you today, I hope that all of you here today will
recommit yourself to helping the BDPA team reach more individuals,
highlight more STEM role models to our youth, change more lives, and
advance more careers, “from the classroom to the boardroom”.
Regards,
Dalric Webb, President

meetings, a core and vital component of the BDPA Cincinnati chapter’s
mission and function, and revitalized it into a smooth flowing operation.
Despite many challenges to success such as location changes, last
minute cancellations, etc., Babacar remained focused month after month
in delivering a quality program meeting to the community and those in

many were outright cancelled for example, Babacar remained focused
on delivering a monthly program meeting that was beneficial to all in
attendance.

and other events.
