Unit 5 Task 3 10 tips to make an effective advert
1. Always make a Powerful Headline since it will always catch
their eye or state your point straight away.
2. Always make them an offer they can’t resist or an offer that is
too good to be true since they will be interested.
3. What makes it stand out, make it colourful not bland. Add
some nice taste to it. Add good pictures that will back up your
point. Colours attract a younger audience.
4. Use exciting graphics like something unusual that will not make
the audience get bored, make it exciting as well as joyful to
read.
5. Tell your news like what you are advertising because that will
boost up the interest.
6. Talk about the benefits like buy the product for this benefit.
7. Make it unique, something unusual like never seen before.
8. The proposition should be a strong one so it attracts new
customers and potential ones.
9. If you want to go as far as making a quote like Head and
shoulder “You get rid of dandruff” which makes the customers
interested in keeping their hair clean and have no dandruff.
10. Take away their fear so it makes them feel comfortable
with the advertisement and make them more interested.

  • 1. Unit 5 Task 3 10 tips to make an effective advert 1. Always make a Powerful Headline since it will always catch their eye or state your point straight away. 2. Always make them an offer they can’t resist or an offer that is too good to be true since they will be interested. 3. What makes it stand out, make it colourful not bland. Add some nice taste to it. Add good pictures that will back up your point. Colours attract a younger audience. 4. Use exciting graphics like something unusual that will not make the audience get bored, make it exciting as well as joyful to read. 5. Tell your news like what you are advertising because that will boost up the interest. 6. Talk about the benefits like buy the product for this benefit. 7. Make it unique, something unusual like never seen before. 8. The proposition should be a strong one so it attracts new customers and potential ones. 9. If you want to go as far as making a quote like Head and shoulder “You get rid of dandruff” which makes the customers interested in keeping their hair clean and have no dandruff. 10. Take away their fear so it makes them feel comfortable with the advertisement and make them more interested.
