Тип уроку:застосування знань, вмінь та навичок
Topic: Parts of the body.
Objectives:to practice using the active vocabulary
to develop speaking skills
to develop pupils’ imagination, creative thinking
Equipment :pupils’ books, tape recorder,flash cards, pictures, toys.
Procedure
1.Introduction .
T.-Good morning, pupils.
Ps.- Good morning.
T.-How are you today?
Ps.-I’mfine, thank you.
T.- How is your family today? How is your mother  father  sister  brother 
grandmother  grandfather?
Ps.- She  he is fine, thank you.
2. Warming up.
T.- We have a wonderfulguesttoday. She is a girl. Her name is Mary. Shewill help
you today. But at first shewants to meet you.
Teacher walks in the classroomwith a doll in her hand and talks to the pupils.
T.- Hello. My name is Mary. Whatis your name?
P.1- Hello. My name is…
T.-How old are you?
P.1- I am 6(7).
3. Presentation of the topic of the lesson.
Т.- Our guestis very small and likes to play. She has got a lot of interesting games
for you today. Let’s start with magic.
Game ‘’ Magic of Colour’’ (There aresome pictures on the blackboard. They are
black and white. Pupils’ task is to guess whatcolour arethey with the help of magic
stick and words:’’One, two, three. Itis blue  yellow  orange ... The picture
will be opened if the pupils give correct answer.)
4.Vocabulary training.
Т.- Mary came with a friend. His name is Michael.( there is a big tincture of the boy
on the blackboard)
But he can’t speak English and he can’t do his morning exercises. Let’s help him.
Game ‘’Jumanji’’( thereis a maze on the blackboard with the numbers. Pupil drops
the cards and moves along the maze, looks at the card and reads the word and
translate it into English. At last the pupil puts this word next to the proper part of
the body of the boy.)
T.- Let’s repeat all the parts of the body all together again.
Relaxing minute.
Poem’’My Body is a Poem’’
T.- Say the poem together and show it.
Ps.- My body is a poem.
My body’s full of rhymes.
Listen, touch and say with me
Many, many times:
A head and a neck,
An arm and a leg,
Two ears and nose,
Two eyes and ten toes.
T.- Wash your face  head  body  neck…
( The children imitate the moves)
Т.-Look at the picture of this funny man. He must be an alien. Something is wrong
with his body. They are too long of too short, too big or too small. Let’s describe
him and remind such words as: long  shortbig  small.
Ps.- Ithas got a big head.
-Ithas got small eyes.
-Ithas got a long neck…
Game ‘’ Draw the Alien.’’( Two teams draw a funny alien according to the
description. the mostcorrect variantis the winner.)
5. Revising of the alphabet.
Game ‘’ Find the Next Letter.’’ ( Pupils are given cards with the letters. A child with
the letter Aa stands up and says, ‘’ I amlooking for the letter Bb’’ and walks along
the classroomlooking for a pupil with the letter Bb. The child with the letter be
looks for Cc and so on. ).

  • 1. Урок у 1 класі Тема: Частини тіла Тип уроку:застосування знань, вмінь та навичок Topic: Parts of the body. Objectives:to practice using the active vocabulary to develop speaking skills to develop pupils’ imagination, creative thinking Equipment :pupils’ books, tape recorder,flash cards, pictures, toys. Procedure 1.Introduction . T.-Good morning, pupils. Ps.- Good morning. T.-How are you today? Ps.-I’mfine, thank you. T.- How is your family today? How is your mother father sister brother grandmother grandfather? Ps.- She he is fine, thank you.
  • 2. 2. Warming up. T.- We have a wonderfulguesttoday. She is a girl. Her name is Mary. Shewill help you today. But at first shewants to meet you. Teacher walks in the classroomwith a doll in her hand and talks to the pupils. T.- Hello. My name is Mary. Whatis your name? P.1- Hello. My name is… T.-How old are you? P.1- I am 6(7). 3. Presentation of the topic of the lesson. Т.- Our guestis very small and likes to play. She has got a lot of interesting games for you today. Let’s start with magic. Game ‘’ Magic of Colour’’ (There aresome pictures on the blackboard. They are black and white. Pupils’ task is to guess whatcolour arethey with the help of magic stick and words:’’One, two, three. Itis blue yellow orange ... The picture will be opened if the pupils give correct answer.) 4.Vocabulary training. Т.- Mary came with a friend. His name is Michael.( there is a big tincture of the boy on the blackboard) But he can’t speak English and he can’t do his morning exercises. Let’s help him. Game ‘’Jumanji’’( thereis a maze on the blackboard with the numbers. Pupil drops the cards and moves along the maze, looks at the card and reads the word and translate it into English. At last the pupil puts this word next to the proper part of the body of the boy.) T.- Let’s repeat all the parts of the body all together again. Relaxing minute. Poem’’My Body is a Poem’’ T.- Say the poem together and show it.
  • 3. Ps.- My body is a poem. My body’s full of rhymes. Listen, touch and say with me Many, many times: A head and a neck, An arm and a leg, Two ears and nose, Two eyes and ten toes. T.- Wash your face head body neck… ( The children imitate the moves) Т.-Look at the picture of this funny man. He must be an alien. Something is wrong with his body. They are too long of too short, too big or too small. Let’s describe him and remind such words as: long shortbig small. Ps.- Ithas got a big head. -Ithas got small eyes. -Ithas got a long neck… Game ‘’ Draw the Alien.’’( Two teams draw a funny alien according to the description. the mostcorrect variantis the winner.) 5. Revising of the alphabet. Game ‘’ Find the Next Letter.’’ ( Pupils are given cards with the letters. A child with the letter Aa stands up and says, ‘’ I amlooking for the letter Bb’’ and walks along the classroomlooking for a pupil with the letter Bb. The child with the letter be looks for Cc and so on. ). 6. Summing up
