Germination is the growth of a plant contained within a seed; it results in the formation of the seedling, it is also the process of reactivation of metabolic machinery of the seed resulting in the emergence of radical and plumule.
All fully developed seeds contain an embryo and in most plant species some store of food reserves, wrapped in a seed coat. Some plants produce varying numbers of seeds that lack embryos; these are called empty seeds and never germinate. Dormant seeds are ripe seeds that do not germinate because they are subject to external environmental conditions that prevent the initiation of metabolic processes and cell growth. Under proper conditions, the seed begins to germinate and the embryonic tissues resume growth, developing towards a seedling

To know the nature of the soil is very important for gardening. In water, particles settle more quickly the bigger they are. It is possible to use this property to determine the amount of each component of the soil
Germination is a process by which seeds produce shoot and root from the endosperm. Favourable Temperature and Relative Humidity influence the germination process
Climate change and global warming are the most discussed debates, and energy crisis is one formidable topics. It is essential to introduce the practicality of this crisis through a simple exercise – the energy audit at school.
Cells lining the inside of cheeks are called as stratified squamous epithelium. They are the surface of the mucous membrane. These flat, scale-like buccal cells are shed constantly as the tissue is renewed. By gently scraping the inside of the cheek, these cells can be harvested and observed under a microscope.
To study the rate of decomposition of leaf and litter in nature, using bags of 3 mesh sizes. Coarse allows soil organisms including earthworms, medium restricts earthworms but allows microarthropods, fine allows microorganisms.
To proceed with the experiments discussed here, you need to know the exact directions from your place of observation. The place of observation should be a open place with level ground. Finding the north using a compass cannot be considered as very accurate as the direction of the earth’s magnetic poles are not aligned with the Earth’s rotational axis
Unwanted salts present in the soil or water will make the plants more stressed and reduce the yield or complete death of the crop Sodium (Na) is not to be added for crop growth.

The Soilless type of agriculture is disscussed in detail with its different types i.e. Hydroponics and Aeroponics. The different growing mediums required for hydroponics. The comparison between two is also done along with their own advantages and disadvantages.
Clay brick is now expensive due to cost of indirect
materials of wood materials, transportation cost and
labor cost. The process of burning bricks emits (CO2)
carbon dioxide to the environmental so this causes
environmental problems. Preparation of clay bricks
consumes less time and energy but as the clay brick to
burning in the kiln to time and energy consumed.
Environmental effect transportation and other
constraints make the use of clay bricks less attractive.
PET Bottle can last as long as 300 years (undoubtedly
longer than the cement used to bind the bottles
together in the walls and columns). Clay bricks are set
to be affected by vegetation, over burning, etc. But the
pet bottle brick may not affected by vegetation,
because it was covered by the mud or sands inside of
the pet bottles. So there is no vegetation growth in
structures. When compared to pet bottles there are no
such drawbacks. Especially the plastic wastes in
environmental is to be reduced because it reduces the
vegetation growth and it does not decompose soon.

Succession is the natural, orderly change in plant and animal communities that occurs at the same place over a period of time. In all communities, the composition of species changes over a period of time. Ecological succession leads to species diversity as it progresses. Secondary succession generally occurs faster than primary succession and is more likely to actually occur than latter

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.

hydroponic system - a method of growing plants in mineral nutrient solutions,
without soil
air pump air stone
styrofoam
use cardboard
as light shield
3. Cut the floating platform to fit the reservoir. Using cardboard make a light
shield around the aquarium.
Cut holes in the float to fit the plastic cups. Cut small holes in the bottom of
the plastic cup and add growing medium (example coconut fiber) to the
cup.
Fill the aquarium with water and mix the nutrients (5 to 10% vermiwash as
described in Experiment 16 can be used as a nutrient solution or you can
buy plant nutrient solutions). An air pump supplies air to the air stone that
bubbles the nutrient solution and supplies oxygen to the roots of the
plants.
Place the floating platform on top of the nutrient solution and then place
the plastic cups with the plants into the holes in the platform.
