The workshop aimsat providingahandson trainingin assessingwrittendiscourse,identifyingthe globally
validatedcriteriaforefficientwritingexpectedof proficientusersof English.Oneachparameteragraded
scale identifiesmore objectively,the relative strengthof eachstudent.Applyingthe criteria and
parameters,mosttrainedexaminerswouldbe able toawardthe same grade fora paperanywhere,
anytime,anynumberof times.
