(handlingStd.Xupwards) fora workshopon‘CriteriaReferencedHolisticAssessmentof Writing’ onSaturday

February between9and1.00 p.m.at Lobby2, International Centre.
The workshopaimsat providingahandson traininginassessingwrittendiscourse,identifyingthe globally
validatedcriteriaforefficientwritingexpectedof proficientusersof English.Oneachparameteragraded
scale identifiesmore objectively,the relative strengthof eachstudent.Applyingthe criteriaandparameters,
mosttrainedexaminerswouldbe able toawardthe same grade fora paperanywhere,anytime,anynumber
of times.
Thisservice comesfree of costas part of our commitmenttoempoweryounglearners.
Certifiedparticipantsof thistrainingsession,XLRIwouldbe happytodeploytoevaluate 150 wordessaysat a
mutuallyconvenientdate andtime betweenmid-Februaryandend-March2019 at ourcampus. Needlessto

We needsome 5000 scriptsevaluatedbetweenyou.The Examcell wouldsendoutinvitationsand
you’dinformthemof the day(s) andtimings) between9.30and 4.30. You wouldbe expectedto
assess15-20 script an hourand each daythe moratoriumis50 scripts.Youwouldbe signinga
confidentialityagreementbefore commencingthe project,signinforthe scriptsand othermaterials
and signouton returningthemall.
You may require atemporaryidto enterourpremises,sokindlybringwithyouyourrecent
photograph.
The remunerationperscriptof our 12 mts testwould exceed whatCBSCpaysfora 3 hr exam.
