2. CAMERA:
For our film opening we used a Canon EOS
600D, with this we were be able to adjust
the ISO so that it would fit in with the scene
that we were filming and creates the effect
that we need for the scene as it helps with
the lighting because we was having trouble
to make the room as dark as we needed.
With the camera we were be able to set the
camera to manual focus, this gave us the
ability to focus on a certain thing that was
important to the scene.
However we set the camera to auto
focus almost throughout our film
opening as we didn't need the camera
to be focusing on specific things, auto
focus was easier to manage as one of
the shot in our opening was out of
focus because we left it on manual
focus and we had to take the shot out
as it does not create the professional
look we wanted.
3. EQUIPMENTS:
TRIPOD AND LIGHTS
TRIPOD:
With the tripod we were be able to adjust
the height and it allows us to create tilt
up and tilt down effect, panning and
tracking movements, while making sure
that the shots stays steady.
LIGHTS:
We used LED lights in our opening for
the boss scene, and the interrogation
scene. This help create a mystery effect
for the boss that we wanted as the light
only focus on the boss and what he was
doing and keeping everything else
surrounding him in the dark.
The lights we easy to use, as we can
adjust the dimness of it, and it also fits
on the camera so that it's easier to
manage while filming because we don't
have to hold it.
4. EDITING SOFTWARE:
The software that we used to edit our film opening is the Adobe Premier Pro.
This helps us create clean cuts and give it a proficient result to our film opening.
The editing software was easy to learn and use, it allows us to cut/edit our
footage and put them together to create continuity in the scene.
We also used the software to add titles to the opening, we were be able to add
some of the titles over some of the shots and put some of the titles on a black
background.
