2. Camera
• I had never used a professional camera before. It was a stills camera, specially the Canon 450D .
Which had lots of modes, this allowed me to take the images in the best possible way, producing
the high quality content. There are lots of different modes on the camera for different situations,
for example if I wanted to take a motion shot I would change the mode moving image mode, it
would take multiple pictures at a fast paced in order to create one image still image that isn't
blurry from the movement.
Here In a photoshoot I
am using the camera,
and looking through
the lens to take the
picture. I was using the
closeup feature on the
camera which lets you
take close up pictures
much easier
3. Studio Lights
• I used the studio lights to try and get the perfect lighting for the
images. I had never used them before. But I learnt how to place them
in a certain way, to make the light more present of a particular area of
the model. Therefore making the images of a professional standard.
Here I was adjusting the
positioning of the light, to
get the best lighting
possible for the type of
image I want to take.
4. Apple Mac
• I had never used an apple mac before, so it was very hard to get the
hang of, as I had to learn new keyboard shortcuts and how to get
around the UI. But by using a mac allowed me to create my product
much faster as it’s an industry standard machine, which has better
specs than a normal pc. So now I am more prepared in the industry. It
also professional software such as Photoshop, screen recordings
allowed me to make my final product and my blog look more
professional and have a variety of media within it.
5. Phone
• I used my phone to take picture of me in the studio taking the images,
and then uploading them onto the Mac. I did it with the phone as its
easy to transfer files between them. Making me more efficient to
produce work.
