1. What have you learnt
about technologies
from the process of
constructing this
project?

2. What camera did we
use?
For our film we used
my canon 1100D to
film as it creates clear,
smooth video footage.
We adjusted some light
settings on this camera
during filming in the dark
room which enabled a
clearer, less grainy image.

3. Other technical equipment
Filming equipment consisted of a fluid
head tripod and a attachable
microphone. Both pieces of equipment
allowed us to produce good quality
clips and high quality sound if needed.
Without these our film quality would
be drastically different and poor.

4. My improvements with media equipment.
I have improved my
understanding of not only
editing skills but also vital
media equipment needed to
produce the actual film itself.
By getting used to different
qualities of the filming camera
enabled me to understand
different filming techniques such
as camera movement and
different light/zoom adjustments.
The fluid tripod allows
movement's to be less jerky and
smoother. However, most of film
was completed in the style of
‘handheld’ filming. The tripod was
easy and convenient to set up
which does not waste time.
In future filming, I will now be able
to set up and work with all types of
equipment successfully as I am
confident with my skills in their
areas.
