● Goal: Raise Awareness on Campus 
○ 50 sign ups with a .wisc address 
○ Gain 10 followers on RaiseUW Twitter account 
○ 50 “likes” on Raise on Campus Facebook page 
○ Complete by December 1 
● Greek Community sign up competition 
○ Prizes: Money to philanthropy 
■ 1st: $500 
■ 2nd: $300 
■ 3rd: $200

Results 
As of 12/1/14: 
● 350 new signups from Greek competition 
● 656 Twitter Followers on @RaiseUW 
● 72 Facebook likes on Raise On Campus page
How Results Benefited Client 
● More sign ups = more potential customers 
● Greatly increased awareness across UW 
Campus 
● Large customer base for the holiday season 
● “Swag” survey will provide insight on what 
merchandise appeals to college students
Lessons Learned 
● Barrier to entry 
o Large and diverse campus → hard to reach every 
student 
o Social media is best way to reach as many students 
as possible 
● Hard to follow up with students and confirm sign up 
● Having a plan is very important for success of startup 
o Social media calendar 
o Planned community outreach events 
o Scheduled promotion events
Moving Forward 
● Christmas/Holiday Season 
Promotion Event 
● Iphone App Expansion
