1. Questionnaire
As a group we were given the task to gather research back from the audience. We
created 15 questions which varied from ‘What gender would you prefer the main
character of a horror/thriller to be’ to ‘Do you want there to be a back-story to the
original story’. We asked 11 people to fill in the questionnaire and the results are
below.
For the following questions I have created pie charts to resemble how many people
chose the one answer over the other.

As you can see just over half of the people I asked said yes to being able to see the
villain’s face at the beginning.
What type of lighting do you think best sets the mood of
a horror/thriller?

As you can see, everyone I asked said they think dark lighting sets the mood of a
horror/thriller.

2. Do you want it to be more Psychological than Physical?

As you can see more than ¾ of the 11 people I asked said they would rather have the
2 minute sequence to be psychological.

As you can see just under ¾ of the people I asked said they would prefer a horror than
a thriller.

As you can see everybody that I surveyed said they would like the victim to have
something to do with the story.
For the next set of questions I have created a barchart to distinguish to the variety of
answers we were given as well as the talley charts.
