1. What have you learnt about the technologies from the process of
constructing this project?
2. ā¢ While filming we used a range of equipment; such as a camera, tripod, SD
cards and the Apple macs. Having a tripod was very useful because it
helped you to get the best camera angles while giving you the choice of
different camera shots, as well as keeping the camera steady; this helps
when we filmed a pan shot and a long distance shot. We used these shots
when Jordan was walking in the field. I believe that these shots were
successful because it clearly showed Jordan's actions as well as her
surroundings. The most important piece of equipment we used was the
camera; using the camera helped us film the two minute project along
with all the shot that were needed. Lastly we used the apple macs; the
macs were useful when it came to editing our shots to make our film have
good continuity; they also helped when our film needed editing and
music put onto it. I think by using the macs we successfully achieved our
aim of a scary atmosphere as we added scary music to our film as well as
an effect to make the journey of Jordan walking look creepy.
3. ā¢ The main websites I used were IMovie, Edublogs and Slideshare. I
used IMovie once I had finished filming; we put all of our shots onto
the macs and the computer programme IMovie; we used this
computer programme as it allowed our group to edit our shots and
move them into the right order. IMovie helped make the continuity
flow easily so it didnāt look jumpy. On IMovie we chose to add scary
music to add tension and atmosphere to the shots we filmed.
Another website we used was edublogs; we used this site to blog
about all of the planning and final project. We also used emaze; this is
a site that represents a slideshow/ PowerPoint, this helps you present
your ideas and evaluation in different ways.
