7. EDAM
Aimed to contribute to the enhancement of the social inclusion of
vulnerable adults through education.
Built a database including data on social inclusion and relevant factors
in the learning environment and life environment as collected in the
eight partner countries.
Offered to adult education programs an evaluation model that can be
used as a source of inspiration to monitor and optimize adult
education programs targeting the enhancement of social inclusion .
develop a tool-kit for policy makers offering them valid arguments to
invest in adult education as well as providing them with examples of
good practice.
Coordinator: Maastricht University

8. HOU
Is an educational program that enables students to investigate the
Universe while applying tools and concepts from science, math, and
technology Universe Quest
The mission was to train teachers on the use of modern tools and
resources for science education and engage students in
international scientific projects. Galileo Teacher Training Program
Aimed to promote interactive science projects among HOU countries
and engage educators and students in a truly global cooperation.

9. STEPS TWO
Aims to facilitate university physics departments in having a greater
European vision following the structural changes of the Bologna
process and the Lisbon goals such as increasing the number of
physics graduates.
It focused on physics curricula after Bologna, modern teaching
methods, and physics teacher education.
The externally validated outputs concentrated on
(a) benchmarks for physics degrees including an “Eurobachelor”,
(b) a database of new methods in physics teaching and an
evaluation of their effectiveness,
(c) a survey of physics teacher education throughout Europe.
