Bridging the gap between scientific and school knowledge in geosciences; Inspiring Science Education is all about providing the tools to make science education more challenging, more playful and above all more imaginative and inspiring for today’s students, the citizens of tomorrow’s world. Global Online Science Labs for Inquiry Learning at School opens up online science laboratories (remote and virtual labs) for the large-scale use in school education

For the implementation of the OSR vision, the consortium brought together a balanced mix of high quality science museums and science centers, pedagogues, educational technologists, metadata experts, user groups and standardization bodies. 2009-2012 Open Discovery Space: A socially-powered and multilingual open learning infrastructure to boost the adoption of eLearning resources. ODS addresses various challenges that face the eLearning environment in the European context. The interface has been designed with students, teachers, parents and policy makers in mind. 2012-2015
