i) Internal Audit Manager, Landmark Group, Egypt(July 2014-Till date)
Reporting to: Territory Head & DGM-Finance
Role & Responsibilities:
Internal Audit
 Follow through of the last Corporate Internal Audit Report open points with
concerned HODs and ensure compliance – with monthly ATR – Action Taken
Report.
 Make a scope for the Internal Audit for all the departments - Finance, HR,
Admin, Marketing, Projects, PRO, IT, Warehouse, etc., and finalize the IA
Schedule for the year.
 Review and strengthen the back end review process of Controls
 Review the CAP of warehouse and Office.
 Schedule Internal Audit of all departments at least once a year.
BOE Audit & Training
 Conduct 3 BOE Audit across all stores during the year.
 Conduct 2 training sessions for all store staff regarding the weak points of
each store in BOE Audit.
 Review the non compliant points – Root Cause Analysis and do reverse audit
of other departments in case the non compliance is due to that.
Stock Loss Action Plan
 Training and educating the Team on the new Stock Loss Target & Incentive

 Review the Stock Take Process and control the same.
 Review the Stock Control, Custody, usage, storage of all other non trading
assets of the Company – IT hardware, vehicles, etc.
 Implementation of the Corporate & Concept specific Stock Loss Action Plan.
Compliance & Fraud Investigation
 Spot Checks at Stores and Other locations to confirm the Internal Control
Process.
 Investigate all reported cases of theft & fraud at store – Store visits to check
randomly on Cash Counter Controls, CCTV, Safe, staff reservations, back
stores, etc.
 Root Cause Analysis of all fraud cases and putting system to address each
individual system.
Project Management of Genesis – Follow through
 Modifications of SOPs according to the changes required by new ORPOS.
 Follow up with all concerned regarding putting a system in place for SR
(Service Request).
 HC Genesis go live as per Project timelines (Sept 2014)
Non Trading Monitoring (Shopping Bags)
 Shopping bags for all Brands (Reviewing and placing order & monthly stock
report to Finance)

II) Area Operations Manager & Loss Prevention Manager-Functional

Role and Responsibilities:
 Controlling the cash process and ensure the safety of securing the cash
transaction.
 Ensure the securing of the Mall both from inside and outside the Mall and to
increase the safety level for the merchandises.
 To Follow and implement all Company promotions and ensure to follow SOP's
and ensure that all the Store Managers/ Staff / Cashier / CSA are following
the same.
 Cleaning: - ensure that the store standards towards the cleaning are well
maintained before the opening of the store on a daily basis.
 Maintenance: - ensure to maintain the store in terms of painting , flooring ,
A/C , ......etc.
 To monitor the performance of Mall Managers, Cashiers / CSA / Chief Cashier
by training and developing them on the required fields.
 To enforce training and development of Cash process with All the Cashiers.
 To Follow the general operating standards within the mall following the
Company retail standards.
 To have relationship with the 4 Concept manager from the 4 concepts
Centrepoint through Monthly meetings.
 To have maximum presence on the floor to monitor the day - to day operation
and the store total environment.
 To deal with Disciplinary and appeal matters that arise as required.
 To ensure that all Company staff are in the correct uniform, wearing badges
and well groomed at all times.
 To monitor trade within the malls and make suggestions to concepts that will
have a positive effect on sales.
 To manage and direct the Visual team in order to get window changes, new
schemes and in house promotions implemented as per the Company
promotional calendar.
 To ensure that the Customer service policies of Company are being strictly
and also ensure that the deal with the customers directly in case of escalated
problems.
 To attend regular meetings with the Concept managers to discuss all
operational matters including known theft, customer service, sales
performance, promotional activity, Shop needs for the coming month and any
other relevant matters.
 To ensure that compliance to company policies on security are maintained at

 To ensure the presence of security guards at all times as per the designated

 To monitor the effectiveness of security guards and liaise closely with the
supervisor.
