SPANISH SOLDIERS are directing INDIAN SLAVES to load gold and
silver onto galleons. Whips. Forced labor.
ENGLISH PIRATES sail into the harbor.
They attack the Spanish. Guns blast. Swords cross. Both the
English and the Spanish naval forces set ships on fire and
kill one another.
The gold and silver bullion drop to the bottom of the shark
infested bay.

The confusion of a sea battle has gone to the stillness of a
calm bay.
Gold and silver bullion sit on the sand of the bay.
EXT. SOUTH BEACH, MIAMI. NEWS CAFE. TWENTY FIRST CENTURY -DAY
PAMELA KNIGHT AKA DOMINATRIX, a beautiful woman, 35, with
long legs, long finger nails, fashionably dressed, Miami
style, reads the Classified section of the Washington Post.
She shows leg.
WASHPOST
WANTED: A really experienced woman
who is not afraid to take high risk
assignments throughout the world.
She snaps the paper and sips Cuban coffee.

mind drifts to foreclosure locks on her Miami Models Agency.
FORECLOSURE LOCKS AND CHAINS attached to her business.
The FEMME FATALE shows Miami heat cleavage...picks up an

INT. FORT MEADE, MD NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY - DAY
A LESBIAN WOMAN, 55, dressed in slacks and jacket sits at
desk surrounded by MAINFRAME COMPUTERS.
BUTCH
I was waiting for your call.

We haven’t spoken in a long time.
BUTCH
You haven’t needed money in a long

Dominatrix smiles and sips coffee.

A black pickup truck moves up Massachusetts Avenue past the
Islamic Center. Moslem women and children move about the
gated community.
The truck drives past the modern glass/steel structure of the
Brazilian Embassy.
The truck moves past the Iranian Embassy. Closed. A steel
chain blocks the driveway. Shrubs are sprawling. Grass is
not cut. Property is not maintained.
Holograph images appear on the windows of the Embassy: The
Ayatollah Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the bearded
President of Iran, who denies the Holocaust happened.
JIM MORIARTY, 45, the driver of the truck, winces.
The truck passes the brick/stone steel gated British Embassy.
The statue of Winston Churchill gives the "V" sign.
The driver of the truck, dressed in a black cowboy hat and
boots, looks at the lone DEMONSTRATOR, 50, outside the
Vatican Embassy.
The protest sign reads: "Catholic Church protects
pedophiles."
A curtain on a window of the second floor of the Vatican
Embassy opens. A SENIOR PRIEST, 60, in a black robe with red
Bishop's sash, peers out.
A young CLERIC, 28, is standing beside him.
EXT. NAVAL OBSERVATORY - TWILIGHT'S LAST GLEAMING
The black enclosed truck turns into the Naval Observatory and
stops at the security gate.
A black female MARINE CORPORAL, 23, in white gloves and full
dress uniform, looks at the Texas license plate. She smiles.
She obviously recognizes the driver.
She asks for the driver's identification. No salute. No
inspection.
She climbs in and sits next to the driver. She guides him
through the grounds of the Naval Observatory.

INT. VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY'S UNDERGROUND BUNKER OFFICE -
NIGHT
The corporal salutes the Vice President and then stands at
ease during the ensuing scenes.
The MASTER SERGEANT, 60, who tested the Texas cowboy in the
pugil pits of Quantico, offers him a seven inch cigar.
Both men light up in the elegant office.
Photographs of President Bush's cabinet line the wall:
Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, Condoleezza Rice,
National Security Advisor, Colin Powell, Secretary of State,
John Negroponte, U.N. Ambassador.
On a table adjacent to the VP's desk are architectural models
of the World Trade Center prior to 9/11 and post 9/11.
A leather bound copy of THE 9/11 REPORT sits on the table
plus several "Top Secret" reports.

rattles brass balls in his right hand and grinds his teeth.

The sergeant hands Moriarty a thin aluminum Halliburton
briefcase.
Moriarty opens it. The case contains GOLD, silver, cash and
maps.
SERGEANT (CONT’D)
I've retired from the military.
I now work in the private sector.
(beat)
Expect "night work" and "wet work."
Unlike Washington, where you are
going...there are no lawyers.
The vice president moves awkwardly. He is entangled in the
clear plastic tubes that are imbedded in his chest and arms.
An oxygen mask and tanks are adjacent to his desk.
VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY (CONT’D)
I'd do it myself, but...
The VP and Moriarty look eye to eye.
VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY (CONT’D)
Sometimes there's no time for "due
process."
MORIARTY
I understand.
The VP talks into a speaker phone.
Send him in.
JACK HOLMES, 45, the Director of the Secret Service, enters
the office. He wears a Brooks Brothers suit with a government
ID and chain around his neck.
Moriarty jumps to his feet, agitated.
The sergeant smiles.

BEGIN FLASHBACK
EXT. QUANTICO, VIRGINIA. PUGIL PITS - DAWN
A platoon of officer candidates stand around waiting for
their turn in the fighting pits.
Two master sergeants make cash bets with a nerdy COMPANY
CLERK on who will win. Holmes or Moriarty?
The two men jump into the pit and start fighting.
Vigorous. Mud flies.
Moriarty whacks Holmes in the head with the pugil stick.
He jumps out of the pit.
Holmes lies in the mud.
Pack of cash goes to the New York master sergeant. He stashes
it in his utility pants pockets. He smiles.
END FLASHBACK
INT. VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY'S OFFICE - NIGHT
Jack Holmes is now the Director of
the Secret Service. He protects me
and the currency of the United
States.
MORIARTY
Hi, Jack.
HOLMES
Fuck you, Moriarty.
NARRATOR (V.O)
Some people say the Vice President
is like a junk yard dog...a bad pit
bull...
Holmes, take this corporal and make

Holmes nods, "yes."

Jack Holmes returns to his office on Connecticut Avenue.
A five story American flag hangs in the lobby of the
Plexiglas enclosed building.
A Victoria's Secret store is adjacent to the building.
Fabulous women come and go from the store with pink bags.
Holmes talks on the phone in a four way speaker to the
Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee on Capitol Hill, the
Chairman of the Federal Reserve on Constitution Avenue, and
to the captain of his Secret Service team.
NARRATOR (V.O)
There are two types of guard dogs:
big bad German Shepherds who
bark... let you know they are
there...and they attack.
Camera dissolves Holmes' activities and holographic images of
Sheppard barking.
EXT. POPE AIR BASE, FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA - NIGHT
NARRATOR (V.O)
...and there are Doberman
Pincers...who get down and wait...
The holographic image of a Doberman crouching, waiting to
attack appears on the screen.
Moriarty steps on an Air Force plane at POPE. Dobermans are
loaded in the plane along with SEALS and Rangers.
EXT. DJIBOUTI, HORN OF AFRICA - NIGHT
Google maps show they fly to Djibouti.

INT. WASH, D.C. OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF SECRET SERVICE - DAY
Holmes talks on the speaker phone to the CHAIRMAN OF THE
FEDERAL RESERVE, 65, on Constitution Avenue.
HOLMES
Yes, Chairman, I am going to Miami
myself.

INT. FORT MEADE, MD. NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY HQ - NIGHT
Massive listening devices. Microwave. Radar. Central Control
room. Television screens monitoring events throughout the
world. Large frame computers.
The DIRECTOR OF NSA, 60, and various ANALYSTS, 40-60, are
monitoring a developing situation in Tulum, Mexico.
The TV monitors, linked by satellites, show the calm waters
of the bay.
DIRECTOR OF NSA
What the devil is a Russian diesel
submarine doing in Tulum?
A senior career analyst with the Agency code named BUTCH, 52.
She has a DA hair style.
BUTCH
I don’t know. It has been on the
floor of the bay for days. The
satellites have followed it from
Cuba for a week.
DIRECTOR OF NSA
Get our best agents there, ASAP!
BUTCH
Cindy is already in place. The
other agent is deceptive...a liar,
even evil. But she gets the job
done.
(beat)
We code named her “Dominatrix.”
DIRECTOR OF NSA
Yes. I know her. She has
the morals of an alley
cat.
EXT. CARIBBEAN MEXICO. TULUM. CURRENT - NIGHT
Mayan pyramids. Archaeological and tourist sites overlook a
shark infested bay.

An ugly woman, CINDY, 27, is lodged on the top of a Mayan
Pyramid dressed in an Eddie Bauer outfit.
She uses military night vision binoculars to observe the
smooth water of the bay.
Cindy speaks into her Blue Tooth.
CINDY
There it is. The periscope just
broke the water.
The periscope of a Russian diesel submarine rotates toward
the shore.
Cindy talks into her Blue Tooth; her hands are on a laptop
computer.
CUT TO:
EXT. SIERRA NEVADA MOUNTAINS. LAKE TAHOE - NIGHT
Magnificent mountains.
INT. LAKE TAHOE, NEVADA. THE GAMING CASINOS - NIGHT
PAMELA KNIGHT aka DOMINATRIX, the best NSA Contract Agent, is
enjoying herself at the gambling tables.
She moves about, flirting with various men. She is looking
for a match. She finds one. They are playing back and forth,
coyly. He is assertive, handsome and flashes cash.
Fabulous lights, music, sounds, fashions, happy players in
the casino.
Dom’s cellphone rings. She takes the call from Butch.
DOMINATRIX
(exasperated)
Oh, no! I just got back from the
Amazon...snakes...water..piranha...
dusty roads...jungle...more
jungle...
BUTCH
The situation is important. Get to
the secure communication
station...now!
Dom excuses herself from her SUITOR, 40. He doesn’t like it.
He realizes she is responding to her cell phone. He follows
her.

She exits the casino. Gets in her flashy rented car. She
drives into the beautiful Tahoe Mountains. Moonlight.
The Suitor follows her in his luxury automobile.
EXT. NEVADA MOUNTAINS. THE RED LIGHT RANCH - NIGHT
Dom drives into the Nevada Mountains to the Red Light Ranch,
a sex ranch. The Suitor is perplexed.
She exits her car in the parking lot of the Red Light Ranch
and enters. She is obviously known.
Her Suitor, shocked, follows her. He is denied entrance to
the inner sanctum by a burly BOUNCER, 35.
He is forced to leave, or stand at a bar where legal
prostitution is being carried out.
He moves to the bar and has a drink while frustrated in his
pursuit...and slightly aghast.
INT. NEVADA MOUNTAINS. RED LIGHT RANCH - NIGHT
NARRATOR (V.O)
The Red Light Ranch is a front for
a Special Operations communications
station.
It is linked to the satellites of
the world by Ground Positioning
Satellites, GPS.
A prostitute is standing outside the bar smoking a cigarette.
HOOKER
Both men and women come and go here
without suspicion, 24/7...365.
DOMINATRIX
Discretion is a good cover.
The building is concrete & block construction. The atmosphere
is darkly lit, red and black colors. Luxurious sofas.
Professional football games are playing in mute throughout
the establishment.

We need you to go to Tulum, Mexico
immediately. Team up with Cindy.
She is already on station.
Dominatrix is shown a satellite digital tape of the Russian
sub under clear blue water.
Sharks swim around the sub in a small bay off Tulum.
BUTCH (O.S.) (CONT’D)
There's a Russian diesel sub
working at the bottom of the bay.
We need to know what it’s doing.

EXT. TULUM/CARREBEAN. INSIDE TOP OF PYRAMID - NIGHT
Ancient Mayan pyramids are restored as archaelogical and
tourist attractions. Full moon.
Dominatrix and Cindy monitor the bay. Occasional shark fins.
They also monitor the courtyard of the pyramids and the
surrounding jungle.
They use sophisticated military night vision glasses and WIFI
lap tops that are hooked into Cancun. The elegant resort city
is the Riviera Mexicana.
Dom views the bay through binoculars on a tripod.
DOMINATRIX
I don’t see anything.
CINDY
It’s out there. The GPS satellite
located it precisely. Ft. Meade has
been following it since it left
Cuba. I even saw the periscope
break water a couple of times.
DOMINATRIX
What is it doing here?
CINDY
That’s why we were sent here, “on
site.”

Satellites and tracking devices are
no substitute for live human
intelligence.

The LENINGRAD, a Russian submarine, moves underwater.
The periscope of the sub breaks water.

Cuban scholars and historians
translated the Spanish records held
in Havana, the last stop before the
gold laden galleons left the New
World for Spain.
RUSSIAN SUB CAPTAIN
And we have the technology and
frogmen to acquire the bullion.
INT. FORT MEADE, MD. NSA HQ - NIGHT
The MEXICAN AMBASSADOR, 60, monitors the situation at NSA HQ
at Ft. Meade, MD, a suburb of Washington, D.C.
He stands next to the NSA Director and Butch.
MEXICAN AMBASSORDOR
We Mexicans, an American ally,
resent the Cubans and Russians
taking sunken gold off our shore.
EXT. TULUM. MAYAN PYRAMIDS - NIGHT
Snakes, spiders, dirt. Spider webs.
Dom is tired, frustrated.

man and clean sheets.
EXT. BAY OF TULUM. RUSSIAN SUB. UNDERWATER - NIGHT
FROGMEN, age 20-30, are actively moving about the submarine's
exterior.

CREW, age 20-40, are weighing and labeling gold inside the
hull of the submarine.
EXT. AMERICAN NUCLEAR SUB - NIGHT
The PEARL HARBOR, a modern American attack nuclear sub,
tracks the Leningrad from a discreet distance.
It videotapes the activities of the Leningrad.
Both subs are aware of one another's presence by use of
sonar.
The two subs are three hundred meters apart.
INT. AMERICAN NUCLEAR SUB - CONTINUOUS
Interior of the sub shows sophisticated sonar monitoring
equipment.
Digital film is processed. Through sound/sonar engineering,
digital film has been created that indicates the shape of the
Leningrad within millimeters.
The female CAPTAIN of the American sub, 50, examines the
film. She nods to the TECHNICIAN, 35, handling the images.
The film uploads by satellites to NSA HQ.
INT. FORT MEADE. MARYLAND. NSA HQ - NIGHT
The Mexican Ambassador is aghast. He is viewing real time
activity that Russians and Cubans are taking sunken gold from
the Mexican shore.
INT. FORT MEADE, MARYLAND - CONTINUOUS
The Central Control room.
INT. OFFICE OF MEXICAN PRESIDENT. MEXICO CITY - NIGHT
The Ambassador is immediately put on the phone to the Mexican
EL PRESIDENTE in Ciudad Mexico.

Television screens monitor the Leningrad.
The Ambassador is excited and angry. His spanish is
translated.

The Russians and Cubanos are taking

MEXICAN PRESIDENTE (O.S.)
Gracias, Ambassador. I will call
La Casa Blanca. My amigo del Norte.
(beat)
In the meantime, ask the Agency to
flash the theft on the cable
channels of the Cancun hotels.
MEXICAN AMBASSADOR
(into phone)
We share intelligencia con amigos

MEXICAN PRESIDENTE (O.S.)
I will make a cell call to our
agents in the field with chain
saws.
(beat)
They will enforce the Monroe
Doctrine.
INT. MAYAN PYRAMIDS OF TULUM - NIGHT
The two female agents monitor the scene: bay, courtyard, and
jungle. Full moon.
The bay has calm water broken by one periscope and shark
fins.
The courtyard has been restored for the tourists. The grass
is manicured. The stones are clean.
The night jungle with a full moon is eerie. Bats are flying.
EXT. JUNGLE SURROUNDING MAYAN COURTYARD AND PYRAMIDS - NIGHT
SUDDENLY, a physically fit RUSSIAN AGENT, 47, runs out of the
jungle.

He is chased by MEXICANS, age 20-35, with chain saws and
machetes.
The MEXICAN LEADER, 35, has a Blue Tooth in his ear.
Action: Mexicans with chain saws “BUZZ; BUZZ.”

EXT. MAYAN COURTYARD OF TULUM - NIGHT
Dom spots the man running.
The agent runs for his life. He crosses the Mayan courtyard
at full speed and runs to the small cliff by the bay.
EXT. SMALL CLIFF AT TULUM BAY - NIGHT
He looks back at angry Mexicans with chain saws fast
approaching him.
He looks at the smooth water of the bay with a small number
of shark fins. He speaks into a communication device:
RUSSIAN AGENT
Leningrad, I am diving now!
The camera pans the Russian communications system. (The
Popular Science version.)
EXT. TULUM. CLIFF ON BAY - NIGHT
The Russian agent dives off the cliff, and swims for his
life.
The Mexicans stand on the cliff, buzzing their chain saws.
Buzzzz!
EXT. TULUM BAY - NIGHT
The Leningrad's periscope breaks the water and monitors the
agent’s swim.
Sharks become interested in the chopping water of a panicked
swimmer.

He's in the water! There's the
periscope of the submarine!
The Russian sub surfaces.
The Russian agent boards with the help of a frogman.
INT. TULUM BAY. THE LENINGRAD - NIGHT
Inside the Leningrad, COLONEL CHERNOBYL, 47, looks the
COMMISSAR, 55, in the eye.
The Commissar speaks with savvy.
RUSSIAN COMMISSAR
The Mexicans don’t like our method
of gold mining. But our Cubano
amigos and our state treasury can
use it as collateral for global
trade.
Colonel Chernobly is exhausted, but he nods, "yes."
COLONEL CHERNOBYL
Da.
EXT. TULUM BAY - NIGHT
The Leningrad dives.
EXT. THE PEARL HARBOR
The Pearl Harbor continues its tracking.
SOUNDTRACK: "Pipeline" The Chantays (Instrumental, 1962)
CUT TO:
EXT. FT. MEADE. MARYLAND. NSA HQ - NIGHT
Butch, the Operations Officer who controls Dominatrix, speaks
into an open microphone which is connected by satellite to
Dom in the Mayan Pyramid in Tulum.
She speaks fast, with anxiety.
BUTCH
We need you to go to Xman, along
the Perisan Gulf. Immediately.

A German agent, the third wife of
the Sheik of Xman, has indicated
she has important information about
oil in Afghanistan and the land of
the Kurds.
DOMINATRIX

Dom responds to the word "GOLD." She becomes alert.
DOMINATRIX
I need a man and clean sheets.
BUTCH
Your tickets are at the Cancun AAA
Ticket Agency...gambling doesn’t
pay your mortgage...which, by the
way, is past due.
CUT TO:
EXT. XMAN. THE PERSIAN GULF - DAY
Dom's airplane flies over the fabulous cities along the
Persian Gulf.
Dominatrix lands in Xman.
INT. XMAN. PALACE WITH HAREM - DAY
Dom takes a waiting limousine to a magnificent palace.
Checks into her suite.
Preparing for her work, she outfits herself in harem garb.
She practice dances in a floor to ceiling mirror in designer
room adorned with white marble. More mirrors.
Unaware of her audience, one mirror shows no reflection.
Behind the mirror is a camera system that feeds to the SHEIK
OF XMAN'S central control room.
She moves down the hall of the palace to the SHEIK'S HAREM.
Wives from Yemen, Syria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, America, China,
Britain and Germany...

On the walls of the palace are photographs of the Sheik’s
racehorses...and photographs of the Bush family with the
Sheik at the Texas ranch.
Smiles. Handshakes. Wealth. Arrogance.

Marlene discreetly whispers.

Human sperm is being acquired to

Dominatrix.
They cannot listen to her conversations, but they can follow
her movements.

The Sheik appears at the British/Arab Gallery, a front
operation for British intelligence, MI 5.
SHEIK
I let MI 5 operate freely in
exchange for information and other
services.
The Sheik and his Executive Assistant walk to the back of the
gallery to the office of SCARLETT HOLMES, 40. She is an
attractive redhead, a snotty/arrogant WASP.
He finds Scarlett Holmes snorting a line of cocaine on a
Peter Max.
The Executive Assistant opens a file on Holmes' desk with
digital photographs of Dom in the harem.

execution.
A CROWD OF LOCALS gather for the public display of Moslem Law
enforcement.
Several men in Arab garb are obviously missing their hands.
ABDUL, 45, a tough bearded prisoner is being prepared for
hanging.
The Sheik addresses his Admin Assistant.
SHEIK
Muslim law dictates that the second
time a thief plies his trade, a
hand is cut off.

Certain behaviors are punishable by
hanging.
EXT. XMAN. HANGMAN'S GALLOWS - TWILIGHT
After his pronouncement to the waiting crowd, the Sheik
leaves the top of the gallows and moves under the platform.
At dusk, when it is difficult for the crowd to see what is
happening: SHADOWS, CONFUSION, EXCITEMENT, DARKNESS...Abdul
ascends the platform, his binding ropes are examined, a hood
is placed over his head.
The hangman guides Abdul to the center of the platform. The
noose is placed around his neck. The trap door is released.
His body drops below the platform to a covered area, not
visible to the crowd of locals.
The rope is still around Abdul’s neck, but he has fallen onto
a smaller platform that saves his neck from being snapped.

The camera drops from a Google type satellite onto the Rhine
River system. It focuses on a 14th century castle.
Dominatrix is sequestered in a mountain overlook viewing the
ancient stone steps of a medieval castle that has been
modernized.
The steps lead from the castle down to a loading dock on the
Rhine. A luxurious ocean going yacht is being loaded with
small wooden crates.
Dom, and her faithful companion spook, Cindy, watch intently
through night vision binoculars.
They use a small parabolic receiver to listen to
conversation.
Cindy interprets the German.

The jungle is burning in various spots, lumber is being

The bus stops in the “middle of nowhere” at the instruction
of a passenger at the front of the bus.
A handsome, muscled GERMAN, 28, exits into the jungle after
tipping the bus driver.
Around the next turn in the road, Dom hustles to the front of
the bus and exits.
In her hurry, she leaves a small leather bag behind. She
carries her knapsack.
She speaks into her cell phone.
DOMINATRIX
I’m off the bus. It’s twilight. My
god, I’m in the middle of nowhere.
Darkness envelops the jungle.
Oh no! Crocodiles, snakes, lizards.
She walks back to where the German exited. She speaks into
her cell phone.
He disappeared into the jungle.

It’s O.K. We got you on your GPS.
Dom looks at her GPS which gives her position of latitude and
longitude.

Dom spends the night crouched in a roadside ditch.
Off-terrain vehicles and trucks move up and down the Amazon

EXT. ROAD DEEP IN THE AMAZON - DAY
At dawn, she wakes. She drinks coffee from a thermos...then
locates the small foot trail the German followed in the
jungle.
The trail leads to a modern mining camp.
EXT. GERMAN MINING CAMP IN THE AMAZON - DAY
In the primitive jungle, the Germans have established a
colony that is extracting gold from the Amazon.
Gold flushes out of the river and mud. Hard work is in
progress.
Dom looks in amazement and approval. Teutonic Order is
maintained in the camp. White table cloths, buxom German
women prepare food for crude workers.
The medical supplies and tools from Germany are being
exchanged for bars of gold bullion.
WORKERS melt raw gold into ingots. They carefully weigh and
label the bullion. SECURITY GUARDS monitor activities. It is
a modern industrial base in the jungle.
Dom cell phones Ft. Meade and reports her findings.
BUTCH
Yes, we have been watching the camp
for years from our satellites, but
we didn’t know what it was.

He tosses rancid meat from the bait locker to the piranha and
crocs.
The Captain laughs.
EXT. BRAZIL. MODERN DOCK ON THE AMAZON - DAY
The dock is camouflaged so that unwanted boats do not dock.
The SAILORS off load the medical supplies. They transfer the
cargo to Humvees and Mercedes trucks.
Hybrid vehicles and electric golf carts are used to save
fuel. The operation is modern. High tech in a primitive
environment.
The vehicles crash through the sandy road in the jungle to
the mining camp.
EXT. AMAZON. GERMAN MINING CAMP - DAY
The off road vehicles scare Dom who is secreted in the jungle
viewing the camp. She is also communicating with Fort Meade.
GERMAN NURSES open the supplies.
They resemble female wrestlers. They are wearing sexy tee
shirts: “We’ll Kiss It and Make It Better.” Written in
Deutsche. Translated as a subtitle.
Dom follows the activities of the well run camp.
Because she left a small bag on the bus, Dom runs out of
supplies. Dom gets a foul, smelly odor. She bleeds in her
pants.
She speaks to herself.

EXT. KEY WEST. FANTASY FESTIVAL - DAY
The Bad Actors blend into the Fantasy Festival that is in
progress.
People in costumes are everywhere. On the streets. In the
bars. In the gay bars. Transvestites are walking the streets.
EXT. KEY WEST. TENNESSEE WILLIAMS THEATRE - NIGHT
The Director meets with the Cheney and Libby characters. He
hands them bin Wa balls.
He smiles cynically.
MORIARTY
You need to stay occupied while the
lawyers prepare your case.
The Cheney Actor, dressed as CAPTAIN QUEEG, removes the balls
from the velvet box.
He rattles them as Humphrey Bogart did in CAINE MUTINY COURT
MARTIAL.
The Cheney actor is nervous, edgy.
DICK CHENEY ACTOR
Thank you, Director. I need them.
EXT. KEY WEST. THE DOCKS NEAR MALLORY SQUARE - DAY
The Secret Service team is outfitted in identical Florida
shirts to identify one another.
The Bad Actors blend in studying their movements. Observing
them. Hemingways are spread throughout the crowd.

NARRATOR (V.O)
Holmes is unaware that his team is
being monitored by the paramilitary
agent, Moriarty, and his two key
players, Leroy and Jackson.
EXT. KEY WEST. THE ROOF OF THE HOLIDAY INN - DAY
Two men are waiting among the usual crowd of tourists.
Holmes, head of the Secret Service, speaks quietly to his
team leader.
HOLMES
The CIA doesn’t talk to the
Pentagon...or the NSA, the Puzzle
Palace.
(beat)
Nobody talks to the FBI unless they
have to.
The Secret Service team leader looks through binoculars as
the German yacht approaches Mallory Square.
HOLMES (CONT’D)
The National Security Agency and
the Satellite Reconnaissance Agency
speak to no one. They just observe.
(beat)
The Geospatial Agency, well...who
knows?
Holmes takes the binoculars. He gets excited.
HOLMES (CONT’D)
There it is. Coming in on time,
just like the Senator said it
would.
EXT. KEY WEST. DOCKS AT MALLORY SQUARE - NIGHT
Holmes and the team leader exit the roof of the Holiday Inn.
The German yacht arrives at Mallory Square amidst CONFUSION
and ENTERTAINMENT. The "freak scene" is in progress.
In private docks, gold is off-loaded.
It is then loaded onto the Secret Service vans and armored
trucks.

EXT. KEY WEST. THE ROOF OF THE HOLIDAY INN - DAY
Moriarty observes the Secret Service activity from the
distance on the roof of the Holiday Inn...and up close by the
homeless (Bad Actors) and the drunk (more Bad Actors).
Moriarty and Jackson chat with one another.
They monitor Holmes and the Secret Service team.
Leroy stands as bodyguard in the distance watching both of
them. He cannot hear their conversation.
NARRATOR (V.O)
The Bad Men get to know one
another.
Moriarty speaks to himself, but is also speaking to Jackson.
MORIARTY
A lot of intelligence work is
waiting, anticipating.
JACKSON
Like when I was in the “break and
enter” business.
MORIARTY
The problem with “night work” is...
sometimes you get sloppy.
JACKSON
Like the innocent boy whose arms
were blown off in the Second Iraqi
War!?
BEGIN FLASHBACK
Deutsche Welle television clip of ten year old Iragi boy with
arms and legs blown off. Eyes wide open. He is carried by
medics.
END FLASHBACK
MORIARTY
How did you know about that?!
JACKSON
I watch Deutsche Welle cable TV and
Aljezzera (the water). American
television didn’t show it.
Moriarty reminisces...drifts back into memory, but still
chatting with Jackson, a willing, intelligent listener.
