About the ProductThe denotation of the purpose of EYE is a way for people to post comments on their
wall and it will be a way to reflect their personality. The homepage features will
contain the latest news and also it will have posts, videos and image that the users can
post. EYE will be similar to content to Twitter as they both these social media account
will reveal that information will be trending so the target audience will know what is
happening to them or around the world. There is an age limit od a person t sign up for
my social media account but there is not restriction of what the person can see or
read on the social media account. This could be viewed as a negative impact but it is
also a freedom of speech that people are to write.
There are some features that I will use to improve my social media such as the phone
app because the users will have easy access to the social media account and also it will
increase the amount of people that will get the social media account. Also, on the
website there are different convergence that will make the social media more visual
pleasing as the images and videos will make them more appealing to use the social
media.
The unique selling point that will reveal the latest and the most popular stories that is
happening around the world. Also, it is a chance of the reader to gain information
about their interest and also gain new interest as well.
About the Product
The connotations behind the name EYE is that your every post, image and video will
always be stay on the internet and therefore the users will have to be carefully what
they are watching. The social media account EYE will symbolise the internet as the
people are able to view all of everything that other people posted. In addition, they
will have a chance to log off or change their profile image.
The colour scheme for chat will be blue and black with a bit of grey. The reason why I
chose blue to be part of my colour scheme is because it is a neutral and also peaceful,
which will reflect the mood of the social media account. Another, reason why I chose
blue for my colour scheme is because other social media account such as Facebook
and Twitter, which use blue within their colour scheme is successful and therefore by
using blue within my, it is the right way to make my social media account successful.
The font style is called ‘Mr Headlines’, which is from dafont.com, as it is bold and it
will stand out. This mean that my font is clear to read and also know what the social
media account called. Other fonts that Facebook and Twitter is successful because of
the font type as it doesn’t look messy or unclear.
About the Product
There will be synergy with other social media products such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Therefore, the logo will attract the audience to use their social media account. Twitter, will share trend and
stories such as more people will hear about it and even start a discussion about the top stories. In
addition, different users are able to advertise well know brands across the social media account.
The target market for EYE will be target at the younger people as they will be interested about the new
trends and news. The information that will be presented on the social media account will be target at the
younger people. The socio-economic needs and Hartley’s 7 Subjectivities would be C1-E as the apps is free
and therefore the information will not be interest celebrities gossip or events that they will interested in.
This will relate to ‘diversion’ (Katz) as it is a way for people to escape from their real life and will be able to
be stress free when using my social media account. In addition, the target market will be would be
‘explorers’(Maslow) as they like to know different information that the social media will present and also
explore different topic, which will interest them. This is important as they are able to gain information
though my social media website. Also, the people will be ‘reformers’ (Psychographic) as they will be
socially aware of information that is presented and also what they will upload to their page. They will be
aware of the numbers of followers they have so that it will reveal f they are popular or not.

The font that I will be using body of text
is ‘Mr Headlines’ from dafont.com. I
have created a logo which consist an
outline eye and the word ‘EYE’ so that it
is a part of brand identity.
There will be no letter that will shorten
EYE as the word only consist of three
letter. The outlined eye is blue as it will
represent a real eye whilst the word eye
is black. My social media product will
offer a way for people to see the latest
news and also it is a way for people to
communicate with each other as well.
Synergy
Here is my examples of the hand drawn drafts and the Photoshop drafts that I have
created. You are able to see that I have repeated the same house style and colour
scheme through both of my drafts. In addition, the layout are simple and therefore it
will be easy for the users to use. You will be able to see that my users to go on
different links that is originally have links to other pages on the account. In addition,
they are able to change the profile picture an also add information about themselves
that they want to share such as their interest.
This an example of
synergy of Twitter
This is an example of the
different link that
Twitter will use
Synergy
On Twitter official, there is a terms and conditions page that will
outline the terms that they will follow. This will make their their
users to feel safe whilst using their twitter page. Some of their
terms that they will outline are ‘Who May Use the Service’,
‘Privacy’, ‘Content on the Service’, ‘Content on the Service’, ‘Using
the Services’, ‘Using the Services’, ‘Disclaimers and Limitations of
Liability’ and ‘General’. On the privacy section, there are
information about how they handle their information and also the
service. In addition, there a link on their privacy section so that

Terms and Condition
For my social media product is it important to outline the
terms &conditions so that the users will understand the
rules of the social media account. This will reveal all of the
ethical and copyright issues that my social media account
will follow so that it will not be breaking any laws and also
not copying other people’s work. In addition, I want to to
mention the Intellectual Property and also the governing
law as the user’s will understand their rights when using
the website so that they will know if they are being
mistreated or not.
Privacy Policy
My company of the social media account will clearly
outline the privacy policy so that the user’s will not get
confuse about their rights when on my website. To register
to my social media account, the users will have to input
their personal information and they will accept the term

Production Plan
The launch Date of EYE will be on Thursday 29th June 2017 because it is near the start of summer and
therefore they will be able to use this social media account in the summer to show off their holiday and
adventures they will be having as well.
Calendar events - The time period that I used to create the website for EYE is 2 weeks. Even so it is
feasible, the employees must do their work in a constant speed and all keep to deadline as the social
media account released to the public. Some of the employees will be involved in the creation of the
social media are graphic designers, journalists, editors and writers. Some of the resources that it will be
needed to make the website to have good and professional quality to use software on the Apple Mac to
access Dreamweaver.
In the team there will be contain group work and therefore there will not be a lot of equipment such as
computer as they will be working together as they will different opinion to create the social media and
the information as well. Some businesses are able to finds software that is cheaper to keep within their
budget. This will be feasible as the journalist will be able to research more than one stories as they will
know what to do and don’t need lots of equipment to do their task.
Production Plan
With a start up business, it is important to know the salary of employees and also
what job role that is needed as well. These are the main job role that will be needed
such as the CEO could be optional as in the future when the business grow and
become successful it could need one as well.
Job Role Salary
Graphic designers £21,713 or more
Editors £27,583 or more
Writers £28,882 or more
CEO £94,884 or more
Businesses will need equipment in order to make it successful such as Apple Mac
because one Mac will cost £1,049.00 and the software on Adobe will be included in
the package which will include software such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop and he
illustrator. This will cost £73.39 per month and £868.68 a year.

Navigation Bar
This is the navigation bar that I have created for EYE’s website. The
navigation bar will be horizontal as it will be best suited for the layout
of my social media site, however did try out other position for the
navigation bar but horizontal was the best choice. In addition, I think it
will be easier for my users to use as well.
Features:
I have created 5 buttons for the navigation bar, they are Home,
Fashion, Music, TV & Film and sport. This will mean the users will have
a wide range of topics to go on and therefore interest them. However,
when my social media account will become successful, it will expand
so that I can add more topics on my navigation bar.
Revenue
The main source of revenue that my social media product can make is through advertisement. This will mean that
different companies such as ASOS will pay social media sites to advertise on their website so that it will reach to a wider
range people. The cheapest price of advertisement on the site will cost 40 cent for foursquare action whilst the most
expensive of advertisement on the site will be $450,000 so that they will be able to takeover the homepage. Lots of
people will view the advertisement view the advertisement as it will be on the main advertisement on the site as it is on
the homepage and therefore more people will be encourage to go on the companies’ official website and therefore buy
items from their companies. This will increase both of the social media account and the companies who advertise on the
site.
However, Twitter will offer companies three types of advertisement, which are promoted tweets, promoted accounts
and promoted trends that they are able to use. The promoted tweets and promoted accounts will cost between $.50 –
$4.00 and the promoted trends will cost $200,000 per day. In addition, for the promoted tweets, it will mean someone
clicked, relayed, retweet or liked the tweet will cost between $.50 – $2.00.
My social media product will do sponsored advertising as different users are allow to express their own opinion about
the product , which will mean that they are advertising the product. Therefore my account will put up deal which will
relate to their opinion about the product. This will cause pay-per-click advertising as the advertiser will pay my social
media product to to advertise their product so that more people will click on their website.

Personal Recommendation
88% of people trust online
review as much as person
recommendation because the
comment are not there to
promote the product but there
to tell other potential consumers
if they want to but the product
or not. This is a way to spread
the word about the product
through friends, families and also
online viewers who are
interested in the product.

Pay Per Click Advertising
This is when companies such as
Facebook, would pay a search engines
such as Google to be the top items to
be found once a user has search the
Facebook onto the search engines.
This will cause more people to go on
their website because it is at the tops
of the list when searching for that
item. It will depend on the amount of
click on a website. In 2015, cost per
click would have cost $1.58. therefore,
if a website have 100 amount, the
company will have to pay $.
Sponsored Advertising
In the present day there
are no sponsored adverting
that are used on the search
engines such as google
because no one will want
to look at advertisement
whilst they are searching
for something on google.
The advertisement on
google will cost company
as they will have to pay
google to allow them to do
this.
Crowd Funding
By crowd funding for different projects, this will appeal to a large amount of
people and therefore help fund the launch of EYE
Steps to crowd fund (according to https://funds.gofundme.com)
1. Firstly, create a campaign that is fundraised
2. Afterward, share the campaign by the uses of social media services.
3. It will be easy to accept donations for the campaign through different
sources of income.
4. It is important to thank the people who made a donations , as it will
reveal that they have notice about what they have done for their
campaign
How will this apply to EYE
This will apply to EYE as to potential investors I will have to pitch my idea so
that I could receive more funds to improve my social media network in the
short and long term. This is one product that I could use to gain extra funding
for EYE.

Sponsorship
By having a sponsorship will exchange money so that my company will have the other’s company
product for their personal use.
There are 5 different sponsorship that different businesses can use.
1. Discount Sponsorship
This is when the company will advertise their discount price for their products or service.
2. Shop Sponsorship
This is when local shops will have free products or service with other shops as well.
3. Flow Sponsorship
This is when free merchandise is given from the distributor or manufacture for free regularly.
4. Amateur Sponsorship
This will be a bit similar to flow sponsorship however, this sponsorship will promote and
incentives to people.
5. Professional Sponsorship
The professional sponsorship is the most common sponsorship that is used. This will include
entrances fees for different events or competition, the money for travel or paychecks

Legal and Ethical Issue
Copyright
The company will have to conduct a researched into several legal area before creating their social media. This is
important as wouldn’t want to be in legal trouble when using a content or images what were copyright but didn’t
know about it . This is important as we would have to gain permission from the founder or the inventors of the
images or information if the social media are allow to use it. This is why the social media will have to contact
them in order to a tempt to get their permission. If this process does not happen, the social media could face
legal action such as a fine which will be between £5,000 to £50,000. this is why is it important to gain the
permission from the founder and the inventors and also prove that the permission have be gained by making
them to sign a contract.
Intellectual property
The intellectual property is a way for work to be protected in different ways such as through patents, copyright or
trademark, which enable people to earn some financial benefit, which is what they have created or invented.
This will prevent anyone from coping their work, as they will able to protect their own work by copyright. The
employer's work will be liable as the content on social media as they will have to follow the guideline.
Privacy policy
When creating a social media , it is important to follow the regulation which will ensure the people’s personal
information and data such as their telephone number or email . This is why it is important for social media to
protect the person/people identity so that they could be viewed in a negative light and therefore it could damage
their reputation. This would be a legal issue as social media shouldn’t be allow to release any information is
privative to the person/people.
In addition, when subscribing to a social media account such as Twitter, the consumer will have to put in their
personal detail such as their bank detail into the system. This is important as the company will have to know their
personal detail and their banking detail protected. This is important because if the consumers’ details are not
protected, other people are allow to steal money from the consumers and therefore the trust between the the
social media company and their consumer will be broken. This could cause a decrease profit as less people will
trust the social media account.

Legal and Ethical Issue
My social media will establish user trust by protecting all of the users’
private information and make sure that it will be not be sent to any
third parties. Under, the term and condition, it will mention the privacy
policy so that it will encourage the users to use my social media
network as they will know all they policies, which will relate privacy as
all of the guideline they will do with their personal information. One of
the examples are it that my social media account will ensure their
users that the their personal information will not be sent to any third
parties and if they deicide pass on any information, they will gain
permission from the users first. However, if the users don’t give us
permission to send their personal information then we won’t send
their information.

Web Standard Project
The Web Standard Project (WaSP) was founded in 1998 as a
way to reduce the cost and the development complexity in
order to increase the accessibility and also the long-term
viability of something that will be on the internet such as
my social media account. Therefore, the Web Standard
Project will be useful to my social media product because it
will help me to keep within my budget and also less could
that I will make errors during my social media account.

Legal and Ethical Issues-Trademark
https://www.gov.uk/how-to-register-a-trade-mark/apply
https://www.gov.uk/how-to-register-a-trade-mark/register-a-trade-mark
The definition of the trademark is when a symbol, product, services or design is protected so that no person, groups or organisation are not
allow to use these items as it will be breaking the trademark rule. The step of make a design to have a trademark are firstly someone will
checking if the design will qualifies as a trademark. Afterward, the person will apply to register for design as a trademark and after the apply
they will find out if their design will be trademark or not. This is important as the person are allow to objected with their decision once it
have came through.
1. Checking if the design will qualifies as a trademark
Once the trademark have sent off, someone will check if the trademark is unique and original so
that it won’t be copying other styles of brand and trademark. This is important as if the trademark
is like other brands and trademark that have been authorised before, the person won’t authorised
the trademark as it is not original and unique as it is too similar to other brands or old trademark.
Some of the unique of the trademark that will need to be portray are words, sounds, logos or
colours so that the design will be unique and one day recognisable. However, there are some
things that that trademark should not have in order to become a trademark such as offensive
words or images, can’t not describe about the design’s being good or services, being misleading,
3-dimensional shape associated and more. If the trademark have broken these thing, their design
won’t be authorised to be a trademark.
2. Apply to register for design as a trademark
To apply to to register for design as a trademark there are a form online that someone could fill out so that they are apply
for their trademark. This is important as by filling out a form online, it is quickly and easily to do and therefore it is hazards
free because they need to answer all of the question that is presented to them. The average prices of registering for a
trademark is £170 for one class and also for additional class of the trademark it will cost the person £50. This is important
as some of the detail that have to been given to register for a trademark are details of the want the person want to
register such as word, illustration or slogan and the person much state what class the trademark that the person what to
be register as such as class 1: chemicals, or class 43: food and drink services.
Legal and Ethical Issues-Trademark
3. After apply for trademark
After the apply for trademark have been examined, the person will received feedback from the application which is known
as ‘examination report’ and receive the report in 20 days . This is important as the person or company will be able to to
answer back to the decision of the trademark within 2 months so that they are able to resolve any problems that may of
occurred. This is important as if the examiner have no problem with the design to have a trademark the application will be
proved and then published onto the trademark journal for 2 months. This is important as during this time period anyone
can oppose the decision of the trademark. If the trademark have been registered if all of the objections have been
resolved. They will send the certificate so that it will conform that their design as officially trademark.
This is the trademark form that the person or the
company will have to fill out in order for their
design to be trademarked.
Legal and Ethical Issue
Impersonation
When creating social media, I will have to research if my site will be impersonation. Through the court, people are
able to awarded such as a £2,000 to £20,000 if the site used someone’s private information, defamation,
fraudulent impersonation and deceit or copyright for social media such as Twitter. Therefore, to keep within
these guideline I will not released any users’ personal information as this will be against the law and it is a
criminal offence.
Libel
There are two type of libel that is important for social media account to know about. Seditous Libel is when some
have written something that could seem to be offensive or to challenge the views of the government. This is
important as this could damage the reputation of the government and therefore it could make them look like less
respectable or less powerful. Another libel is criminal Libel is when someone is publish, spoken or a written
statement about person/ people that could damage their reputation or image of person. This is important as
these allegation could stick with them for life and therefore it could ruin their life such as stop getting jobs.
Therefore, the social media will have to be careful of what they released to the public so that It wouldn’t offend
anyone.
Royalties
On my website there will be a term and condition as it will mention royalties as it will license. So by having a
license for my site, there will have permission to use the different content for the site. The site will have royalty
free, which mean the employers of the social media wouldn’t have to pay for the users’ work. Therefore, the users
can’t get paid from my social media site.

Regulatory Body: Advertising
Standards Authority
Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is a self-regulatory organisation, which
will involved advertising industry within the UK. ASA is class as a non-
statutory organisation, which will mean that they are unable to interpret or
enforce any legislation onto companies. The ASA will have a code of
advertising practice that will reflect the legislation that could happen. Their
code are written by Committees of Advertising Practice. They will work aside
complaints and check if their any misleading, offensive and violence
advertisement. This ASA is not government funded.
ASA will enable people to make complaints as they will allow people to make
complaint online, telephone or write a letter to them. This is important as the
ASA will have to consider what offensive that might have happen.

Hazards at the Workplace
Health and safety act 1974 is when all members of staff should be safe at work. This is important as the employers must check that is it a safe
working environment for the employees to work in so that the employees will be working within a place that is hazard free. This is important
as this regulation will provide the a person’s safety, health and welfare whilst in the work place. This will mean that the employers must
ensure that the employees surrounding are safe for them to work within their working environment. The most common hazard that could be
presented within the work place are the physical hazard. Some examples of a physical hazard are loud noise constantly, spills, areas that
could easily tipped over and more potential hazards. This is important as the employers must do a risk assessment of the building before
allow their employees to work in the building as they will have to discover all of the potential hazards that could occurred. This is why the the
employers and the employees should be aware of all of the risks so that they will be able to fix them so that their employees will be safe at
work.
My social media account will stick to these regulations and guidelines of this legislation for EYE as health safety executive will do a risk
assessment of the building of where the EYE are. This is important as both of the health safety executive and EYE team that search for the
potential risk that could occurred within the building and how dangerous it is for the employees. This is important as the publication will
provide features within the building that will ensure the the employees to be safe within the building. This is important as the company will
have emergency exit so that the the employees are escape the building in case of an emergency such as fire. Another, safe feature that the
building must have is to have a fire alarm and button so that the fire alarm are able to detect the the fire when one is occurring so that the
employees are able to escape the building and therefore preventing any injuries of happening to the employees. This is important as if the
building do not proven these safety feature within the building, this wouldn’t ensure the safety of their employees as they wouldn’t have a
warning sign to tell them when a fire have started. Some of the employers will have to follow are some regulations in order to ensure the
safety of their employees. Some of the regulations that the employers must do free of charge are to safely train their staff to do their job
roles, also they have to provide the necessary protection clothing or shoes for the employees when working in a job role that needed
protection clothing or shoes. In addition, the employees will have to be aware of the ‘health and safety policy statement’ so that the
employees will have aware so that they will know their right in their company and the building. Also the health safety executive will inspect
will regularly inspect the building so that they will know if the employers are keeping up to the legislation and therefore ensuring the safety
of their employees.

Hazard or Risks
One example of Facebook have been mention lot is on the
Jeremy Kyle Show as it will show lots of relationship break
down because of Facebook and their insecure in the
relationship get the better of them. Therefore, they will start to
be controlling and look through their Facebook so that they will
want to see all of the Facebook messages or comment on their
partners social media site. In addition, they may feel insecure
when someone else face book message them and tell them
able the allegation of what their partner did. One episode of
the Jeremy Kyle a paranoid husband (Gaz) thought his wife
(Kelly) think that she cheated on him, their relationship is
breaking down as the allegation will lead to argument and it
will also affect the her as it will get her down. The husband
secret searches her Facebook as he found out that his wife has
search her ex even so she wanted to block him. After, she took
the lie detector she passed the lying tester. Facebook has
nearly broke their relationship because of his insecurity and
Facebook being available to look up anyone.

There is a negative side to Facebook as it is believed that it is bad for relationship as it will make people paranoid and
jealous in a relationship. This could cause a relationship to breakdown because of the lack of trust or always being accused
of cheating. In the UK one third of marriages end because of Facebook when they asked for the reasoning. This means
Facebook is breaking up marriages or relationships because of their easy access to new people and therefore starting a
relationship with them over the phone. In addition, even being accused of cheating with any person through Facebook will
also break a relationship because of the lack of trust and also the allegation will lead to argument all the time and therefore
they can’t be together anymore because of the argument and the anger to one another.
Hazard or Risks
On Monday 3rd October 2016 in the morning, 5 armed masked robbers held Kim Kardashian at gunpoint in the luxury apartment in Paris whilst dressed up as police officers.
They stole 6.7m (£5.24m) worth of jewelry, which included her $4.5 million engagement ring. They bound and gag her with the zip ties and then left her in the bathtub whilst
the robbery was taking place. The bound her wrists and ankles. They snatched her phone from her whilst she was trying to make a phone call to her bodyguard, Pascal
Duvier. Whilst, Kim Kardashian was in the bathtub she managed to free herself and called for help from the balcony, which was heard by her life long friend Simone
Harouche, who was downstairs. Simone Harouche got out from her bed and locked herself in the bathroom and then called Kim’s personal bodyguard Pascal Duvier for help.
At the time of the robbery Pascal Duvier was with Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at Arc nightclub. Kim Kardashian feared that were was going to be raped by the
five men during the robbery when she told the police about her ordeal. When Kanye West heard of the robbery , he was performing at the Meadows Music and Art festival in
Queens, New York, when someone rushed and told him. He quickly told the crowd, ‘I’m sorry. I have a family emergency. I have to stop the show.’ However, there are some
questions of how the 5 robbers were able to get through Kim Kardashian’s security team and get in the apartment? If the robbery was a inside job? And also how did the
robbers know that she would be there at time?

However, when the news stories about Kim Kardashian being held up at gunpoint
and $6.7m (£5.24m) worth of jewelry stolen. People took to Twitter to share
their opinion of the robbery. Some made jokes about the robbery, which could
have been a life or death situation, they are known as Twitter trolls. Some of the
tweets wished for her to be killed in the robbery, not sympathise that she was
nearly shot and also think that the robbery was a PR stunt so that more attention
would be on her. Some of the commentators didn’t understand the seriousness
of the situation and posted tweets making funny comments about the robbery.
The comment is even more hurtful as the robberies were carefully planned and
she was their target because they know that she is rich and she also had a $4.5
million engagement ring from Kanye West. Some of the trolls tweets posted
about the robbery are ‘Kim Kardashian robbed at gunpoint in Paris…Finally some
good news on a Monday’, ‘@SkyNews@KimKardashian should gone the whole
hog and finished her off as well. Can’t wait for Kanye too make this about him’
and also ‘Should’ve shot her lmao #KimKardashian #KimK’. These comment are
making fun, mocking and insulting her as they do not realise the seriousness of
the robbery and also how they could get past her security team. However, the
robbery has also caused other Twitter users to share their support to her and
sympathise with her as it was a horrible event that happened to her and it
doesn’t matter if someone rich or poor they still don’t deserve to be treated in
that way.
Hazard or Risks
Instagram has positive and negative impact in society, however one of the negative side of Instagram are the trolls. This is important
as the trolls use a comment/caption, image/ mems or a video that is targeted at one or more people that will poke fun at them and
therefore have a negative effect on the person(s). People will troll because if they powerful when they are on the internet and
therefore they will be able to cover their real identify and be something that they not. Instagram have decided to automatically will
deletes abuse and block the internet trolls because Instagram was design to help with people confident not make them fall.
Instagram have designed a new tool, which will automatically block all offensive words from any comments that is posted. Therefore
the users are able to chose if they want to hide inappropriate comments or not from their Instagram.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2016/09/12/instagram-upData-automatically-deletes-abuse-to-block-internet-t/
Katie Price decided to name and shame the Instagram trolls that is
aim at her son Harvey. This is important as few users have made
memes or joked based pictures that is targeted at her disable son.
Some of her memes at making fun of her son’s condition, septo-
optic dysplasia, he is also on the autistic spectrum, ADHD and
blindness, he suffer from Prader-Willi syndrome, which affect his
weight and also he have difficultly walking. These memes that
users have created have making fun of his disability in a negative
light and therefore encourage people to join in as they think they
are being funny. Therefore, Katie Price had decided to comment
on most of the meme that is targeted at Harvey because she was
upset by the meme and therefore try to make it stop. One of the
memes is to compare him to IRA by saying 'Why does Harvey price
look liked a member of the IRA?‘, Katie price screen grab the
meme and then comment 'Does anybody know this vile person.‘
she posted his profile image and also his name as well on the
meme. However, after posted the meme on her page with a
comment she have receive 115 supportive messages from her
fans such as ‘Love u Harvey and katie’ or ‘I feel sick! I am ashamed
to be human knowing this is what our race is capable of !!’ Katie
Price have commented on lots od different memes or images that
make fun of her son.
RisksPredators
There have been an increase of fear if you are talking to a real person or a predator online. The
profile image could be different from the actual person they are talking to, which could scare
parents as their children are using social media and make them vulnerable.
CyberBullying
People could bully other users online as they will feel superior online as it is not face to face
contact. The only way for the cyberbullying to stop if the victim of the bullying if they report to
the social media account. This action will be display on all social media site and EYE will support
this action to stop cyberbullying
Trolling
Trolling is a new technological abuse that is happening on social media site. Trolling will include
insults users or hacking their account. In the present day trolling is a crime as they could face jail
time as it could damage their victim’s life.
Exploiting
Exploiting is always a danger on social media as it is a way for predators to exploited a person
who are underage to gain materials for themselves or hacking as well.
Hacking
Hacking is a type of crime so that they are able to gain new information, destroy a website or to
someone accounts. An example of hacking is when someone hack into someone else's social
media account and therefore it will invade someone else personal account.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I have created a production plan for my social
media product so that I will need to know when all of the
deadlines need to be kept so that it will be able to reach their
launch Date on Thursday 29th June 2017. In addition, it will
need to know if my website will be feasible or not by creating
all of the salaries of the jobs that need to be done. However, I
think that my website will be feasible because I will be making
more of my income through advertisement with well known
companies such as ASOS or New Look. The legal and ethical
issues will be related to my company as it will present the
different information such as copyright clearly display so the
users can read up about process.

This could be viewed as a negative impact but it is also a freedom of speech that people are to write. There are some features that I will use to improve my social media such as the phone app because the users will have easy access to the social media account and also it will increase the amount of people that will get the social media account. Also, on the website there are different convergence that will make the social media more visual pleasing as the images and videos will make them more appealing to use the social media. • 5. About the Product The connotations behind the name EYE is that your every post, image and video will always be stay on the internet and therefore the users will have to be carefully what they are watching. The social media account EYE will symbolise the internet as the people are able to view all of everything that other people posted. In addition, they will have a chance to log off or change their profile image. The colour scheme for chat will be blue and black with a bit of grey. The reason why I chose blue to be part of my colour scheme is because it is a neutral and also peaceful, which will reflect the mood of the social media account. Another, reason why I chose blue for my colour scheme is because other social media account such as Facebook and Twitter, which use blue within their colour scheme is successful and therefore by using blue within my, it is the right way to make my social media account successful. The font style is called ‘Mr Headlines’, which is from dafont.com, as it is bold and it will stand out. This mean that my font is clear to read and also know what the social media account called. Other fonts that Facebook and Twitter is successful because of the font type as it doesn’t look messy or unclear.

Some of the resources that it will be needed to make the website to have good and professional quality to use software on the Apple Mac to access Dreamweaver. In the team there will be contain group work and therefore there will not be a lot of equipment such as computer as they will be working together as they will different opinion to create the social media and the information as well. Some businesses are able to finds software that is cheaper to keep within their budget. This will be feasible as the journalist will be able to research more than one stories as they will know what to do and don’t need lots of equipment to do their task.

  • 19. Navigation Bar This is the navigation bar that I have created for EYE’s website. The navigation bar will be horizontal as it will be best suited for the layout of my social media site, however did try out other position for the navigation bar but horizontal was the best choice. In addition, I think it will be easier for my users to use as well. Features: I have created 5 buttons for the navigation bar, they are Home, Fashion, Music, TV & Film and sport. This will mean the users will have a wide range of topics to go on and therefore interest them. However, when my social media account will become successful, it will expand so that I can add more topics on my navigation bar.
  • 20. Revenue The main source of revenue that my social media product can make is through advertisement. This will mean that different companies such as ASOS will pay social media sites to advertise on their website so that it will reach to a wider range people. The cheapest price of advertisement on the site will cost 40 cent for foursquare action whilst the most expensive of advertisement on the site will be $450,000 so that they will be able to takeover the homepage. Lots of people will view the advertisement view the advertisement as it will be on the main advertisement on the site as it is on the homepage and therefore more people will be encourage to go on the companies’ official website and therefore buy items from their companies. This will increase both of the social media account and the companies who advertise on the site. However, Twitter will offer companies three types of advertisement, which are promoted tweets, promoted accounts and promoted trends that they are able to use. The promoted tweets and promoted accounts will cost between $.50 – $4.00 and the promoted trends will cost $200,000 per day. In addition, for the promoted tweets, it will mean someone clicked, relayed, retweet or liked the tweet will cost between $.50 – $2.00. My social media product will do sponsored advertising as different users are allow to express their own opinion about the product , which will mean that they are advertising the product. Therefore my account will put up deal which will relate to their opinion about the product. This will cause pay-per-click advertising as the advertiser will pay my social media product to to advertise their product so that more people will click on their website. Source: http://digiday.com/publishers/what-online-ads-really-cost/ https://www.quora.com/How-much-does-it-cost-to-advertise-on-Twitte https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pay-per-click r
  • 21. Commercial Uses- Advertising Personal Recommendation 88% of people trust online review as much as person recommendation because the comment are not there to promote the product but there to tell other potential consumers if they want to but the product or not. This is a way to spread the word about the product through friends, families and also online viewers who are interested in the product. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pay_per_click https://www.hochmanconsultants.com/cost-of-ppc-advertising/ http://theinfoage.com/InfoageSeo/pay_per_click.htm Pay Per Click Advertising This is when companies such as Facebook, would pay a search engines such as Google to be the top items to be found once a user has search the Facebook onto the search engines. This will cause more people to go on their website because it is at the tops of the list when searching for that item. It will depend on the amount of click on a website. In 2015, cost per click would have cost $1.58. therefore, if a website have 100 amount, the company will have to pay $. Sponsored Advertising In the present day there are no sponsored adverting that are used on the search engines such as google because no one will want to look at advertisement whilst they are searching for something on google. The advertisement on google will cost company as they will have to pay google to allow them to do this.
  • 22. Crowd Funding By crowd funding for different projects, this will appeal to a large amount of people and therefore help fund the launch of EYE Steps to crowd fund (according to https://funds.gofundme.com) 1. Firstly, create a campaign that is fundraised 2. Afterward, share the campaign by the uses of social media services. 3. It will be easy to accept donations for the campaign through different sources of income. 4. It is important to thank the people who made a donations , as it will reveal that they have notice about what they have done for their campaign How will this apply to EYE This will apply to EYE as to potential investors I will have to pitch my idea so that I could receive more funds to improve my social media network in the short and long term. This is one product that I could use to gain extra funding for EYE. Source: https://uk.gofundme.com/?pc=cf2
  • 23. Sponsorship By having a sponsorship will exchange money so that my company will have the other’s company product for their personal use. • 24. Legal and Ethical Issue Copyright The company will have to conduct a researched into several legal area before creating their social media. This is important as wouldn’t want to be in legal trouble when using a content or images what were copyright but didn’t know about it . This is important as we would have to gain permission from the founder or the inventors of the images or information if the social media are allow to use it. This is why the social media will have to contact them in order to a tempt to get their permission. If this process does not happen, the social media could face legal action such as a fine which will be between £5,000 to £50,000. this is why is it important to gain the permission from the founder and the inventors and also prove that the permission have be gained by making them to sign a contract. Intellectual property The intellectual property is a way for work to be protected in different ways such as through patents, copyright or trademark, which enable people to earn some financial benefit, which is what they have created or invented. This will prevent anyone from coping their work, as they will able to protect their own work by copyright. The employer's work will be liable as the content on social media as they will have to follow the guideline. Privacy policy When creating a social media , it is important to follow the regulation which will ensure the people’s personal information and data such as their telephone number or email . This is why it is important for social media to protect the person/people identity so that they could be viewed in a negative light and therefore it could damage their reputation. This would be a legal issue as social media shouldn’t be allow to release any information is privative to the person/people. In addition, when subscribing to a social media account such as Twitter, the consumer will have to put in their personal detail such as their bank detail into the system. This is important as the company will have to know their personal detail and their banking detail protected. This is important because if the consumers’ details are not protected, other people are allow to steal money from the consumers and therefore the trust between the the social media company and their consumer will be broken. This could cause a decrease profit as less people will trust the social media account. Under, the term and condition, it will mention the privacy policy so that it will encourage the users to use my social media network as they will know all they policies, which will relate privacy as all of the guideline they will do with their personal information. One of the examples are it that my social media account will ensure their users that the their personal information will not be sent to any third parties and if they deicide pass on any information, they will gain permission from the users first. However, if the users don’t give us permission to send their personal information then we won’t send their information. Source: http://www.webstandards.org/learn/faq/
  • 26. Legal and Ethical Issue Web Standard Project The Web Standard Project (WaSP) was founded in 1998 as a way to reduce the cost and the development complexity in order to increase the accessibility and also the long-term viability of something that will be on the internet such as my social media account. • 32. Hazards at the Workplace Health and safety act 1974 is when all members of staff should be safe at work. This is important as the employers must check that is it a safe working environment for the employees to work in so that the employees will be working within a place that is hazard free. This is important as this regulation will provide the a person’s safety, health and welfare whilst in the work place. This will mean that the employers must ensure that the employees surrounding are safe for them to work within their working environment. The most common hazard that could be presented within the work place are the physical hazard. Some examples of a physical hazard are loud noise constantly, spills, areas that could easily tipped over and more potential hazards. This is important as the employers must do a risk assessment of the building before allow their employees to work in the building as they will have to discover all of the potential hazards that could occurred. This is why the the employers and the employees should be aware of all of the risks so that they will be able to fix them so that their employees will be safe at work. My social media account will stick to these regulations and guidelines of this legislation for EYE as health safety executive will do a risk assessment of the building of where the EYE are. This is important as both of the health safety executive and EYE team that search for the potential risk that could occurred within the building and how dangerous it is for the employees. This is important as the publication will provide features within the building that will ensure the the employees to be safe within the building. This is important as the company will have emergency exit so that the the employees are escape the building in case of an emergency such as fire. Another, safe feature that the building must have is to have a fire alarm and button so that the fire alarm are able to detect the the fire when one is occurring so that the employees are able to escape the building and therefore preventing any injuries of happening to the employees. This is important as if the building do not proven these safety feature within the building, this wouldn’t ensure the safety of their employees as they wouldn’t have a warning sign to tell them when a fire have started. Some of the employers will have to follow are some regulations in order to ensure the safety of their employees. Some of the regulations that the employers must do free of charge are to safely train their staff to do their job roles, also they have to provide the necessary protection clothing or shoes for the employees when working in a job role that needed protection clothing or shoes. In addition, the employees will have to be aware of the ‘health and safety policy statement’ so that the employees will have aware so that they will know their right in their company and the building. Also the health safety executive will inspect will regularly inspect the building so that they will know if the employers are keeping up to the legislation and therefore ensuring the safety of their employees. • 33. Hazard or Risks One example of Facebook have been mention lot is on the Jeremy Kyle Show as it will show lots of relationship break down because of Facebook and their insecure in the relationship get the better of them. Therefore, they will start to be controlling and look through their Facebook so that they will want to see all of the Facebook messages or comment on their partners social media site. In addition, they may feel insecure when someone else face book message them and tell them able the allegation of what their partner did. One episode of the Jeremy Kyle a paranoid husband (Gaz) thought his wife (Kelly) think that she cheated on him, their relationship is breaking down as the allegation will lead to argument and it will also affect the her as it will get her down. The husband secret searches her Facebook as he found out that his wife has search her ex even so she wanted to block him. After, she took the lie detector she passed the lying tester. Facebook has nearly broke their relationship because of his insecurity and Facebook being available to look up anyone. Source: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/does-facebook-break-up-marriages-2014-07-07 www.yourtango.com/2012128108/facebook-divorce http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/paranoid-husband-mocked-jeremy-kyle-5614472 There is a negative side to Facebook as it is believed that it is bad for relationship as it will make people paranoid and jealous in a relationship. This could cause a relationship to breakdown because of the lack of trust or always being accused of cheating. In the UK one third of marriages end because of Facebook when they asked for the reasoning. This means Facebook is breaking up marriages or relationships because of their easy access to new people and therefore starting a relationship with them over the phone. In addition, even being accused of cheating with any person through Facebook will also break a relationship because of the lack of trust and also the allegation will lead to argument all the time and therefore they can’t be together anymore because of the argument and the anger to one another.
  • 34. Hazard or Risks On Monday 3rd October 2016 in the morning, 5 armed masked robbers held Kim Kardashian at gunpoint in the luxury apartment in Paris whilst dressed up as police officers. They stole 6.7m (£5.24m) worth of jewelry, which included her $4.5 million engagement ring. They bound and gag her with the zip ties and then left her in the bathtub whilst the robbery was taking place. The bound her wrists and ankles. They snatched her phone from her whilst she was trying to make a phone call to her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier. Whilst, Kim Kardashian was in the bathtub she managed to free herself and called for help from the balcony, which was heard by her life long friend Simone Harouche, who was downstairs. Simone Harouche got out from her bed and locked herself in the bathroom and then called Kim’s personal bodyguard Pascal Duvier for help. At the time of the robbery Pascal Duvier was with Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at Arc nightclub. Kim Kardashian feared that were was going to be raped by the five men during the robbery when she told the police about her ordeal. When Kanye West heard of the robbery , he was performing at the Meadows Music and Art festival in Queens, New York, when someone rushed and told him. He quickly told the crowd, ‘I’m sorry. I have a family emergency. I have to stop the show.’ However, there are some questions of how the 5 robbers were able to get through Kim Kardashian’s security team and get in the apartment? If the robbery was a inside job? And also how did the robbers know that she would be there at time? People took to Twitter to share their opinion of the robbery. Some made jokes about the robbery, which could have been a life or death situation, they are known as Twitter trolls. Some of the tweets wished for her to be killed in the robbery, not sympathise that she was nearly shot and also think that the robbery was a PR stunt so that more attention would be on her. Some of the commentators didn’t understand the seriousness of the situation and posted tweets making funny comments about the robbery. The comment is even more hurtful as the robberies were carefully planned and she was their target because they know that she is rich and she also had a $4.5 million engagement ring from Kanye West. Some of the trolls tweets posted about the robbery are ‘Kim Kardashian robbed at gunpoint in Paris…Finally some good news on a Monday’, ‘@SkyNews@KimKardashian should gone the whole hog and finished her off as well. Can’t wait for Kanye too make this about him’ and also ‘Should’ve shot her lmao #KimKardashian #KimK’. These comment are making fun, mocking and insulting her as they do not realise the seriousness of the robbery and also how they could get past her security team. However, the robbery has also caused other Twitter users to share their support to her and sympathise with her as it was a horrible event that happened to her and it doesn’t matter if someone rich or poor they still don’t deserve to be treated in that way.
