Choose the plan from the drop-down list to view its tasks in Gantt chart.

Add or Remove additional task fields such as Date, Assignment, Bucket and more.

17. Row Number
This is the unique number for each task. Helps you to locate the tasks and to distinguish Parent and
Child tasks easily.

18. Group By
Group tasks by Status, Bucket, Assigned To. This view helps you during review meetings and to track
the progress of the tasks easily. You can also print this Group By view.
Tip: Advanced printing is not supported in this view. Click Clear (3) button to exit this view and use Advanced print

19. Manage Unscheduled Tasks from Gantt
Unscheduled tasks does not appear in Gantt chart as it does not have start / due date. You can view them in separate
window and schedule it by clicking on + button.

date range, Sort tasks by and decide which tasks
fields to be displayed.
• Basic
Export the current view of the Gantt as a
screenshot in PDF format. This view is suitable
for sharing or present during review meetings.
We would recommend you to use Advanced
print if you wish to print the Gantt in paper.

21. Reload Gantt extension
This will reload the entire application. It is useful at times when you are unable to find the new plan
added in Planner.

 Show / Hide Completed Tasks – Helps you to hide the completed tasks from Gantt
 Set Chart Date Interval – Set the date interval to view the tasks that falls in that range.

24. Refresh Current Plan
This will Refresh the current plan and help you to get the updated task details from Microsoft Planner.

29. Add Task
Add Planner tasks directly from Gantt chart. You have below options to create new tasks.
 Add Task – This will add new task at the end of the chart.
 Add Child – Select the Parent task to add a child / sub task
 Add Above – This will add new task above the selected task
 Add Below – This will add new task below the selected task
 Add Milestone – This will add milestone task in the Gantt. This milestone will appear as
a new task in Microsoft Planner.

30. Add Task
Create New Planner task directly from the Gantt application. This option will add new task at the end
of the chart. You can edit the task details by double click on the task bar.

31. Add Child
Select the parent task to which you need to add child / sub task and click on Add Child.

32. Add Task Above / Below Existing Task
Create New task above or below an existing task.

33. Add Milestone
This will add Milestone dates for the plan.

34. Parent-Child for Existing Task
Drag a task and drop it on another task to make the it as child.

36. Open in Planner
You can edit basic task fields such as Title, progress, bucket, dates and assignment from Gantt. To edit
more details such as attachment and post comments open the task in Planner and edit it.

 Edit task details directly from the Gantt application.
 You can edit Task title, date, progress, assignment, Actual start / end date and Bucket.

38. Edit Complete Percentage
 Update the task progress from edit window.
 Default progress levels in Microsoft planner (Not Started - 0%, In Progress - 50%, Completed -
100%)

39. Edit Assign Task
Assign task to multiple users and set their contribution units. This will help you to measure the
effort needed by each user to complete the task.

40. Actual Start & End Dates
 Apps4.Pro Planner Gantt extension helps you to track the Actual start and end date for tasks and
compare it with baseline (Actual / Planned) dates.
 The Actual dates for the tasks are represented in blue line on the top of the task bar which helps
managers to compare the actual and planned dates and take corrective action.

42. Dependency
 Apps4.Pro Gantt helps you to set dependencies for Planner tasks, so you can set which
tasks needs to be completed before starting another task. You can set the following
dependencies
 Start-Start (Yellow)
 Start-Finish (Purple)
 Finish-Start (Pink)
 Finish-Finish (Green)

43. Add Dependency
 Set dependencies from dependency option.
 Also set dependencies by drag the start or end point of a task to start or end point of another task.

44. Edit Dependency
Edit / update the existing task dependency.

45. Remove Dependency
You can remove the dependency easily from this window.

47. Sort Columns
Sort the task order of the Column in ascending, descending and custom order by drag and drop tasks.

48. Change Task Order
Change the order of the tasks by drag and drop between two tasks. This order is preserved which
helps you to plan the order of the tasks your team needs to work on.

49. Change Start Date from Gantt
Change the start date of the task from the chart by dragging the line at the beginning of the task bar
in the chart.

50. Change End Date in Chart
Change the end date of the task from the chart by dragging the line at the beginning of the task bar in
the chart.

51. Change Start-End Date in Chart
Shift the task to the new date by maintaining the task duration just by dragging the full bar.

52. Change dates for the tasks with dependency
When you move a task to a different date that is dependent of other tasks (Finish – Start), all the dependent tasks get the new
dates by maintaining the task duration.

53. Change Completion Percentage in Chart
Change the task progress from the chart by dragging the completion point in task bar.
