1. Holly is your thrill seeker of the group and she’s your tomboy in the group too
but she looks one of the youngest of the girls there. But we she that she try’s to
challenge Juno and in the film she dies first by the crawlers.
Sam is the youngest girl in the group however she is the most intelligent of the
group because she is in university and she is studying to be a doctor. Also she has
an older sister witch is Rebecca.
Rebecca is the oldest through out the group and she is vey protective over her
little sister she has that motherly sense over her sister Sam. However you can see
that she is one of the best climbers there and when she has to climb across the
cave Rebecca goes not Juno.
Juno is the leader of the group but in the film when they are going to the cave
she doesn’t tell the rest of the girls where they are going and that they are
exploring a cave that has never been explored before. Also you see the betrayal
towards Sarah because Juno and Sarah husband in the first bit have certain got a
romantic side to them and later on in the film Sarah find out and gets her
revenge.
Sarah is the main character in the film and in the first bit of the film we see the
tragic thing that happened to her and through out the film she has the viewer’s
sympathy. However towards the end of the film we see that because of that
everything she has lost she has turned bad in the situation she is in and she has
turned more animalistic to be able to survive.
Beth is the last person alive that Sarah can go to for support and she is the one
who can calm Sarah down and she is her best friend. But we see when she is
taken away from her and Beth is the one to tell her and Paul had something and
2. Sarah has lost her last support so that’s when the bad side comes out of her and
we see this animalistic character come alive.
In the first picture it’s very warm and inviting and they’re all laughing. In this
photo we can see the nice slumber party because they are all in the PJs. However
in the second picture it is an action pose because the colours and the way there
standing and what there are dressed in and the fancily expressions are all very
serious. Also this picture is aimed at men because in the film the girl’s breasts are
much smaller then in the picture. Also the colours of the second picture are less
inviting because it has got a blue tint over them.
In the first picture you can see that
romantic side to Juno and Paul and this is
the first indication of betrayal and Beth is
a bit more sceptical at this sense then the
rest of the girls.
In the second photo we see Sarah become
the animalistic nature to survive because
she has lost everything her daughter,
husband and best friend and has just
found out about the betrayal of Juno so
the red blood on her and the red tent and
facile expression are showing us that she
has lost control and become more like a
animal to survive in this cave.
