2. PLOT IDEA 2
• Two friends trespass into an abandoned area(farmhouse)
• Strange noises
• Ignore the noises, ghost appears but they don’t see it
• Wary of someone nearby and start to look out but the ghost disappears
• One friend wonders off ,screams are heard
• Other friend tries looking for his friend
• Falls over- gets injured
• Tries getting up
• Ghost appears in front of him
• Scared and tries to get up but cant and falls on his back
• Screams for help
3. CINEMATOGRAPHY
• Establishing shot of them walking
• Medium close up, confusion
• Over the shoulder, we see ghost they don’t
• Tracking shot of one character wandering off
• Close up showing emotions
• Shaky tracking shot following him as he looks for his friend
• Long shot when he falls over to show the isolation
• Medium shot when tries to get up
• Close up when he tries to get up, show the struggle
• Long shot when ghost appears
• Close up in his face when he screams
4. EDITING
• We will use fades to make the atmosphere slower and eerie
• Cut away edits when the characters split to show what’s happening
• Jump cuts to get through the scenes
5. SOUND
• Start with diegetic sound, them talking etc
• Non diegetic sound, hear screams
• Heart beats and rushing sound when they wary
• Screams again when they split
• Heavy breathing when he falls over / moaning
• High pitched noise when the ghost appears
• Along with diegetic sound from the character
6. MISE-EN-SCENE
• Abandoned building
• Casual clothing, rather simple
• Ghost in white clothing
• Torch
• Tools scattered around the building
