2. To edit the background around
my model I first needed to make
sure I had selected the correct
Layer to avoid destructive editing
(loosing the original image)
To separate the
background
from the model
I used the quick
selection tool,
making sure that
the area
selected is only
the background
and not
overlapping the
model
I used the toolbar and went to image, adjustments
and then color balance. This allowed to change the
colour of the area selected while keeping the
shadows and highlights.
3. By moving the different sliders it allows me to add
whatever colour tint I want to the backdrop.
To change the colour's of the shadows or
highlights alongside the midtone colour I
have added I can use the Tone balance
area.
