This document discusses the dimensions of quality for NEG coating used in vacuum chambers. NEG coating is a state-of-the-art thin film coating that acts as a getter pump to achieve ultra-high vacuums of 10E-10 mbar. It conforms to international standards and reliably performs on a 24/7 basis for many months to pump vacuum chambers in particle accelerators. The NEG coating is durable for at least 10 venting and activation cycles, with accelerator machines expected to operate for over 20 years without failure of the coating. The coating has been successfully used in photon machines in several countries.

activation back to pumping . Venting of the accelerators are
required to carry out maintenance in other parts and to
introduce new instrumentations in the vacuum envelope
The accelerators have alife time of more than 20 years
during which time, these coatings should perform

Switzerland, US , Spain and many more projects.
