2. On a double page spread the name of the artist is in the middle in massive bold sans serif
letters to show who it is. Black, white, grey and gold are used. In most double page spreads only
three to four colors are used because they don't want to overload the colors on the page. A
dark plain background is used and a picture of the artist performing live. The same font is used
but the only difference is the font size
3. When a white background is used the dark colors are used for writing. Capital letters are used for
the artists names. This is an occurring thing in double page spreads as it clearly shows the
audience who the artist is. The photo is in the middle. Black and white are the only colors used.
It’s a pretty plain double page spread compared to the previous one
4. Most of the magazines I have looked at the picture is usually on the left and the
columns are on the right but this one is different to the others. It shows me that I
don’t have to have a big title for the artists name. The background is plain so it shows
me that the background doesn’t have to be interesting.
5. The similar of this to the other is the name of the artist in the middle. The use of
three colors for page. The pictures is either in middle or the left but this one is
different and the picture is on the right. The writing is similar to the others because
its in columns.
6. Massive picture of the artist. Big heading alongside the picture. Most of the shots used
are medium close ups and close ups. The writing is very small and also in columns. On
the left the background is different other one on the right
