Class: 5th Year
Level: Elementary
Length: 40 minutes.
Class Description: The class is formed by 21 students: 10 boys and 11 girls, all
about 10 years old. They have classes twice a week, 40 minutes.
Main Aims:
-To revise and to integrate the topics of parts of the body and clothes
through transversal themes such as Integrated Sexual Education (ESI), Climate
according to different parts of the world and typical clothing in different parts of
the world.
-Teach CLIL
through the analysis of different clothes that people wear in different parts
of the world.
-Teach our students the difference between sex and gender and how to
respect them.
Personal Aims: Create in our students a sense of self-respect and respect to the
others, as well as make them aware about the differences in clothing according to
cultures and weather conditions.
Timetable fit: In the last classes students have learned the parts of the body and
face and also the clothes. During this class, they will continue learning the
vocabulary of clothes and they will start thinking over the differences according to
culture. We expect to take three lessons with this.

Anticipated problems: Some students could have problems in the pronunciation of
some words.
Possible solutions: We, as model, will tell them how to pronounce the words, so
they repeat them.
2. Procedures

We will show our students a power point
presentation consisting in different people
wearing clothes in different colors and we will
ask them to identify some ‘strange’ things.

Reflectioning/debating We are going to ask our students some
questions (Why men wear blue and women
pink?; Can men wear pink and women blue?
Why? Why not?).
Starting from our students’ point of view, we’re
going to create a debate and make them reflect
about this particular topic.
