2. In construction of our digi-pack we
used real media technology to research
into common conventional pop album
covers and by doing this we used
ITunes and look at different album
covers that associated with the pop
culture. Artists which inspired us was
artists such as Rihanna, Ariana Grande
and Selena Gomez. We did this through
Google, not only did we research other
artist we also researched the music
video conventions, theories and the
history of music videos. Google was a
very useful platform because all I had to
do was type in what I needed and an
endless range of websites would come
up that had all the information I needed
in order to complete my research.

research
3. In the planning process I used Microsoft
word to plan out my shooting schedule and
also to write my questionnaire. This was
useful because this way we had a copy of
each saved on to our UBS’s incase anything
go lost it ensured that we had a back-up by
having this valuable to us it was also easier
to share to documents between each other
through our emails. To create my story
board I also downloaded and image off of
the internet and put it on to word where I
was able to print it off, this made the process
a lot quicker for me to complete and made it
so much easier. In order to plan the
locations where I was going to film I used
Google maps this helped us find the right
locations without having to actually travel
to them. Finally to plan our costumes we
used the internet by looking on Youtube at
other R&B music videos and got inspiration

4.
In the construction of my digipak and promo
poster I have used Photoshop. Adobe
Photoshop is a graphics editor developed and
published by adobe systems for windows.
Photoshop was the key software in the
construction of my digipak and magazine
because it is a very good editor that creates high
quality and professional looking products.
Without it I would have had to fins an
alternative which would have been hard to do
and the end result would’t be nearly on the
same level. Photo shop was very useful because
I was able to edit the images to how I wanted to
an example of this was putting the quote onto of
the image by downloading a style from the
website dafonts and blurring the background on
both the digipak and the poster to focus on the
artists face and also brighten it. Photoshop
allowed me to choose the right effects that fit
with the theme and help me keep the continuity
between the products.

5.
Final cut pro is a video editing software
that I have used in the editing process of
my music video. Final cut was very
useful because I was able to put/ cut
together all my different video shots
that I filmed on the canon 100D and
then I was able to edit them in the right
order and with the right transitions; in
final cut I was also able to change the
speed and color of shots, and example
of this is where we made the flashback
shots black and white. Overall final cut
pro was the main technology I have
used to create the music video. To know
how to use this software I had to watch
some tutorials on how to use final cut
efficiently and effectively.

6. To gain my audience feedback I used social
media and phone text messaging apps such as
whatsapp, where I was able to easily share the
photos of my digipak and my promo poster and
then my target audience was easily able to
comment what they liked and disliked about it.
This was the easiest way for me to gain audience
feedback. In order to get feedback on my music
video I uploaded it onto my Facebook page
where my friends could comment and tell me
what they though of my video, this overall
helped me improve all of my products, I also
showed my video to my peers in class and was
able to wrote down their feedback and make
changes to it. During my evaluation stages I
used a rage of different site to create them, I
used Prezi, Powtoon, Emaze and PowerPoint,
this demonstrates the fact I know how to use
different mediums to illistrate my ideas.
