Corporate Identity

 I decided to keep a consistent corporate
 identity throughout my music video, digi
 pak and website. I did this in order to
 promote the band’s image and name
 through repetitive fonts, logo and images.
 My logo appears at the end of my music
 video; leaving a lasting image in the
 audience’s mind, along with the text font
 that is consistently used in my website
 and on my digi pak.
Colours

 Images are additionally consistent along with
 the ‘black / white / grey / red ‘ colour scheme. I
 believe both my main product and ancillary
 texts are effective because of the consistency
 of the corporate image. I believe my music
 video was fairly successful because of the
 fast shots used alongside one another and the
 variety of locations helped portray a fun and
 fast moving storyline which is what I aimed to
 create.
Relations

 I felt that relating my video and website both with
 design and text would enhance corporate identity. For
 example, I used one particular line which included the
 lyrics ‘being free’ , along with a clip of my protagonist
 opening his arms (to portray to the audience
 connotations of a bird or freedom in general). I also
 used the ‘non - additive dissolve’ effect to make the
 protagonist appear to vanish - thus portraying the
 point that his invisibility provides freedom and a
 ‘superhuman’ element to his character.
