Dear QSIP Families, It has been discovered that there is an error in the upcoming events in the September Newsletter. Please find the updated newsletter attached. The correction is in reference to Loy Kratong celebration. In the newsletter it states that there is no school that day, but, indeed there is and we will celebrate Loy Kratong on the official day of celebration at the school. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
QSI International School of Phuket now offers a 2 year old program!
We are now accepting 2 year old children in our preschool program. Parents of children who are
two years old as of August 20, 2015 and are on their way to being bathroom trained may enroll
their child at QSIP. Please contact Khun Aom in our office. (k-aom@pkt.qsi.org)

sign-up forms coming your way early in September – Term 2 and Term 3 ASA start and end dates
will be determined soon. (Note: Before 22 September school will end at 3:30 p.m. After 22
September, school will end at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.)

13 October – Tuesday - Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences – 1st Quintile – by appointment –
office staff will send out information informing you how to set an appointment.
19 – 23 October – Monday through Friday - Chulalongkorn Holiday vacation – NO SCHOOL
25 November - Wednesday – Loy Kratong Celebration at School
26 November - Thursday – 1st Term After School Activities end (Starting on Friday, 27 November,
school will end at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the next round of activities begin.
3 December - Thursday – Writer’s Café – Students share their accomplishments in literacy to their
classmates, teachers and parents. More information to come.
7 December - Monday – Father’s Day (observed) – NO SCHOOL
11 December - Friday – International Day – half day – 7:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Parents are
encouraged to share a food dish from their home country. More information to come.
14 December 2015 – 1 January 2016 – Winter Break – NO SCHOOL – classes resume on
Monday, 4 January 2016
