 It is important to keep you heart rate higher than resting to, get rid
of Lactic Acid in the muscles (See Pg 64)
 It stops blood pooling in the veins, (can cause dizziness)
 It also gets rid of other waste products produced when we make
energy in the muscles
 Prevents soreness and stiffness
 Light walking/cycling/swimming to slowly lower your HR is best.
Also wearing warm clothing
 Some stretching is also good
