1. Payment lifecycle
In this module, we will discuss:-
1. When is the payment transferred?
2. What is the Paytm Mall commission update?

2. When is the payment transferred ?
Once your product is delivered to the customer, your payment will be processed
Payment initiated

3. Example of a payment transfer
• The payment is transferred everyday except on bank holidays and is processed
during the banking hours only
• The payment will be released on the day after the date of the delivery of the
product
For example –
1. Product delivered - 16th (Tuesday)
2. Payment released - 17th (Wednesday)

6. Final Payout = Selling Price – Commission – TCS
Note – Commission here includes the Paytm Mall commission, the PG fee, and the applicable taxes.
How is your payout calculated?

7. How is your payout calculated?
Your final payout is made after the various commissions & fee deductions from the selling price
Payout

(-) Paytm Mall Marketplace commission Rs 750 (5% *15000)
(-) Payment gateway fee @2.7% Rs 405 (2.7%*15000)
= Final Payout Rs.13500.73 [15000-(750+405+207.9 +136.37)]

DEDUCTIONS
(-) GST@ 18% Rs 207.9 [18%*(750+405)]

8. Paytm Mall Commission
Update and Approval

9. The Paytm Mall commission update is the updated or new version of the commission that is shared by Paytm Mall
in case of any change in the commission structure.
Reasons for Paytm Mall Commission Update
Promotional Campaign
• Promotional Events keep on taking place to boost your sales. So, if there are any changes made in the Paytm Mall commission
during a Promotional Campaign, you’ll be notified with a commission update
Changes in Paytm Mall’s policy
• If there are any changes in the commission structure, the updated Paytm Mall commission will be sent to you on your Panel
New category added by you
• If you add any new Category to your catalogue, you will receive an updated Paytm Mall commission request

10. Once you have logged in to the panel, the new Paytm Mall Commission structure will be visible to you. You will be
required to approve the same.
Click on the Download tab to download and view the CSV file that contains the updated Paytm Mall commission

You can check your payments in these two ways -
Settlements Reports
The order-wise details for a specific date
frame of expected payouts can be viewed in
the following formats:
• Multiple orders detail report of expected
payout
• Expected payout of a specific order
The payout reports will be downloaded in
a zip file and will consist of the following
reports:
• Payment Transactions report
• Order level detail report
• Packaging adjustments report
• Damage product adjustment report
(Inventory in FC)

If you want to check your payment details according to the payment date, follow these steps -
