In a society where childhood obesity and its related
health problems, as well as children’s social and
emotional wellbeing are ever increasing issues it is
vital that children are taught at an early age, and
continually reminded about the importance of living
a healthy lifestyle.
2. Educating
students on
issues related
to PDHPE will
allow them the
greater
chance of
achieving and
maintaining
mental, physic
al, social and
spiritual
wellbeing.
3. As an educator my aim is to develop in each student the
knowledge and understanding, skills and values and
attitudes needed to lead healthy, active and fulfilling lives.
4. I will ensure the development of
students’
knowledge, understandings and
practical skills that lead to
better health.
