One Day – Emma Morley (Anne Hathaway)
and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess) meet on
the 15th July 1988 at their graduation from
University of Edinburgh; they spend the
night together every year on that day, but
always agree to stay friends. During the film,
it follows and reconnects with Emma, Dexter
or both on 15th July (one day, per year) over
the next 23 years.
Marketing that went on towards this film

mostly all social media sites. There is also a
movie poster that was used everywhere
before and during the release of the movie.

The production budget for the movie was roughly
$15,000,000.
Random House Films, Film 4 and Color Force were all
production companies that provided finance for the film.
- Random House Films have also produced “Reservation Road”
and “Lay the Favorite”
- Film 4 have also produced “12 years A Slave” and
“Inbetweeners 2”
- Color Force have also produced “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and
all “The Hunger Games”

Germany, France, Portugal and many others.

One day had a box office intake of roughly $56,706,628
It was shown in all the places mentioned above in
distribution and they were shown in all these countries
because they has a wide range of distribution and would
guarantee one day to be successful considering the
populations of the countries are quite large. The film
format that the movie is available at home exhibition is
on DVD, box office, Netflix or any type of media available
at home really.
