2. Vertigo Films is a British film production and film
distribution company based in London, England.
They have been responsible for the production of
Bronson, Street Dance 3D and Monsters. It was
founded in 2002 by Allan Niblo and James
Richardson. The following year Rupert Preston and
Nick Love joined and became partners.
3. Funding
Vertigo have received funding from channel 4 films
to promote film projects with schools.
They have also been funded by The Film Council
and the NFTS to promote film projects with schools.
4. Production/Distribution
Vertigo have worked with many other companies in
the past in production of their films such as bbc1
films, E1 entertainment and even Warner Bros.
Warner Bros distributed ‘the firm’ with vertigo
films.
In 2008 was the first production to be created was
‘faint heart’.
Its current stated goal is to produce four films and
distribute another four films a year.
5. Cross media convergence
Vertigo has used innovative new technology, paying
careful attention to budget and great care of its
audience to produce and distribute thirty films to
date with a never seen or done before string of
commercial success.
You can watch their films on movie websites such as
netflix, or on DVD, they also have CD soundtracks to
certain films.
6. Films
Their film Street Dance starred actors such as
George Sampson, Diversity and Flawless who were
featured in Britain's Got Talent. This film was
released in countries such as Italy, Canada, Australia
and many more, growing even more popular.
The company was formed for the express purpose
of distributing and producing the two films; The
Football Factory, and Its All Gone Pete Tong.

8. Outside of the UK
Vertigo owns a successful post production company
in Berlin, The Post Republic and is a partner in sales
company Protagonist Pictures along with Film 4
and Ingenious.
All of their films have been released in many
countries all across the world.
