2. My film poster develops and challenges forms of real film posters. The first technique that I have used which is similar to a real film
poster is direct mode of address. The image of the character on the poster is looking straight forward towards the camera, therefore
capturing the audiences attention. This is an effective technique for attracting people to look at the film poster. The title of the film in
both posters is the largest text on the page as this is the name that the producers want to stick in the audiences head. It is also the
first thing that the audience will see when they look at the poster. Another technique that my product has developed from a real film
poster is the production text. The production text is the block text at the bottom of the page that is wrote in ‘steel tongs’ font, this text
shows the producers and developers of the film and makes the poster look professional and realistic. I used a tagline in my poster to
imitate a really film poster, my tagline ‘Are you afraid of the dark?’ is similar
