2. Who AreWe?
• The Commonwealth of Learning is an intergovernmental
organisation created to encourage the development and
sharing of open learning / distance learning resources
and technologies.
3. Who are we?
• Notesmaster is an award-winning e-learning initiative,
co-owned by the Caribbean Examinations Council and
working in partnership with the Commonwealth of
Learning. Amongst its aims is to support the creation
of a distance education network for formal and non-
formal schools, across the Caribbean.
4. Objectives of the Program
• Creation and enrichment of OER resources for 14
disciplines.
• Support all 39 participants in learning new software.
• Create 2520 resources for 10 Secondary subjects
and 4Vocational Subjects.
5. Workshop Objectives
• Introduction to the new COL-MOEYSC-NM
Program,Timelines, Product Quality.
• Introduction to the Notesmaster Platform.
• Creation and enrichment of OER resources.
Creating interactive quizzes.
6. Time Frames
• Face-to-face workshop in Belize: 26th – 30th June 2017.
• Begin content authoring: 3rd July, 2017.
• Monthly review of content from August 2017 to June
2018.
