• The Commonwealth of Learning is an intergovernmental
organization created to encourage the development and
sharing of open learning / distance learning resources
and technologies.
3. Who are we?
• Notesmaster is an award-winning e-learning initiative
in partnership with the Commonwealth of Learning
and CXC®, working with Ministries of Education in the
Caribbean, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia,
Botswana, Lesotho and Seychelles, to create a
distance education network.
4. Objectives of the Program
• Creation and enrichment of OER resources for 12
disciplines.
• Support all 36 participants in learning new software.
• Create 2400 resources for Junior Secondary and
Primary subjects.

• For use on the Aptus – what is an Aptus.
• For use Online – PC,Tablet, Laptop, Smart phone.
• For use offline – PDF download, print .
6. Workshop Objectives
• Introduction to the new MoE-COL-NM Program,
Timelines, Product Quality.
• Program discussion.
• Introduction to the Platform.
• Creation and enrichment of OER resources.
7. Time Frames
• Face-to-face workshop: 4th - 8th February 2019.
• Begin content authoring: 11th February, 2019.
• Monthly review of content from March 2019 to
December 2019.
