3. Polusi Udara di Eropa
 90% penduduk kota di Eropa terpapar polutan yang konsentrasinya
melebihi baku mutu.
 Sumber polusi udara:
 Bahan bakar fosil pada transportasi, industri, rumah tangga
 Proses industri dan pemakaian pelarut
 Agrikultur
 Pengolahan limbah
 Erupsi vulkanik, debu terbang, dll
 Usaha EU untuk penanggunalangan:
 Peraturan perundang-undangan
 Kerjasama dengan sektor yang bertanggung jawab atas polusi udara
 Penelitian

4. EEA
(European Environtment Agency)
 Merupakan pusat data polusi udara dari EU.
 Tugasnya mendukung pelaksanaan dan evaluasi peraturan mengenai
polusi udara di EU, mendata serta menaksir emisi udara dan tren kualitas
udara di Eropa.
 Setiap tahun EEA menerbitkan laporan dari kualitas udara di Eropa.

5. EC
(European Commission)
 EC mengaplikasikan Clean Air Policy Package pada Desember 2013.
 Isinya:
 Program udara bersih yang baru untuk Eropa dengan baku mutu baru
sampai tahun 2030
 Revisi batas baku mutu emisi nasional (NEC Directive) untuk 4 polutan
utama (NOX, SO2, VOC, NH3)
 Proposal petunjuk mengenai pengurangan polusi dari instalasi
pembakaran

9. VOCs
(Volatile Organic Compounds)
 Directive 94/63/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the
control of VOC emissions resulting from the storage of petrol and its
distribution from terminals to service stations.
 Council Directive 1999/13/EC on the limitation of emissions of volatile
organic compounds due to the use of organic solvents in certain activities
and installations.
 Directive 2012/33/EU regards the sulphur content of marine fuels.
 Directive 1999/32/EC on reduction of sulphur content of certain liquid fuels.

(National Emission Ceiling)
 Directive 2001/81/EC on national emissions ceilings for certain atmospheric
pollutants (acidification and eutrophication)

11. Tansport and Environment
 Proposal to amend Directive 98/70, automotive fuel quality
 Directive 98/70/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council relating
to the quality of petrol and diesel fuels
 Commission Directive 2000/71/EC, adapt the measuring methods as laid
down in Annexes I, II, III and IV of Directive 98/70/EC of the European
Parliament and of the Council to technical progress as foreseen in Article
10 of that Directive.
