6. What is a Welcome Message?
The first information a student or parent
sees each time they log into Family
Connection
Only one welcome message per grade-

Links and images can be inserted directly
into the message

Links in the welcome message can be to
external websites or another portion of the
student’s Family Connection account
8. Images and Videos
Images can be added from a web-based
photo sharing site like Picasa or Snapfish
and videos from any video sharing website
such as YouTube or Vimeo
10. What is a Custom HTML Page?
A way for schools to build content directly
into their Family Connection page
No limit on the number of custom pages
per grade-level
11. Custom HTML Pages vs. Documents
Custom pages allow students and parents
to access information within Family
Connection without having to open or save a

A link to a URL that opens in a new
