Descriptive Essay About My Dad
I currently live with my parents who adopted me at the age of ten and fostered me since the age of two. My dad, a father of seven raised me as
though I was one of his own and never regarded me as anything less. He has always guided me with a strong hand and soft voice and through the
years my admiration for him grew. My dad has many stunning qualities that I admire but three of them stand out the most. He is loyal, humble, and
dedicated. My dad is loyal, as a man who was separated from his wife for long durations of time during the military his love for her stayed true. My
father first met my mom in the summer of sixty–nine she was sixteen and he was seventeen. Immediately they had a connection and a couple weeks
later they started dating. My parents dated the rest of high school experiencing the ups and downs of a relationship. Drafted into the military in June of
seventy–two my parents decided to get married before they moved to New Mexico. Forty–five years later and their love grows stronger each and every
day. My dad is loyal to his children too. My dad supports our choices and promises to always be there for us and give us advice when we need it. He
makes sure that we are all happy and he protects us. My dad always stood up for his military comrades and protected them and made sure they never
questioned his credibility. To this day, my dad, continues to be the loyal man he was in the past and I admire him for the person he has become. My
dad, a veteran of the

Dez Bryant was drafted to the Dallas Cowboys in 2010. He was the twenty–fourth person in the overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
After signing the contract, Dez became the second–highest paid wide receivers in the NFL. The Cowboys wanted Dez to have the jersey number 88,
which was passed on by Hall of Famer Michael Irvin and Drew Pearson. After every touchdown made by Dez Bryant, he throws up the symbol, "The

I Admire My Mother Essay
When you look at my family right now, you can see that everyone is separated from each other. My mom and sister live in the states, my other sister
lives in the Philippines, and I live here on Saipan with my father. My mother is the kind of person that can voice her opinions, one that can speak to
people, and someone who can find a way through any situation. These are some of the reasons I admire my mother deeply. When you look at my
mother, she is a lady of Asian descent who seemingly has a quiet and menacing aura. One thing I admire about my mom is the fact that she can
speak her mind out, whether it was hurtful to one or not. I recall a time when we were at a big mall with a seemingly endless vast of clothing,
which seemed to be Macy's clothing shop if I recall correctly. We then entered the faded sliding door in which the intoxicating smell of sweet
perfume assaulted my nostrils; the smell was extremely thick it seemed as if you could see the waft of perfume. This scent caused my mother to say
"The smell here is horrid", and the staff working there looked at my mother wondering "who was this lady who just insulted the ... Show more content

During those adventurous trips I seem to notice that people often spoke to her. In just about anywhere, whether it may be a shop or a hospital, my
mother seemed to run into people that knew her, including the dock with the big huge ships; someone seemed to have known my mother. I
remember going to Managaha and my mom just stepped into a boat and asked a man to take us to Managaha, and he did. Apparently my mom was
his first aid instructor, so he gave us a free ride there and back. I saw the glittering ocean and I smelled the fresh salty breeze, it was almost as if you
could taste the air of salt. The ocean was a magical place, after we stayed at Managaha for a bit we returned home. My mother's affable personality
was one of her charming marks that attracted people to

My Reflection On My Mother Essay
A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to
describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I
admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where
she is today. I will begin by telling you a little bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside of George with her parents, Harris and Bev
Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in
a lot of different activities. She was in the play, large group and individual speech, a cheerleader, played the drums in band, was in student council,
secretary of her class, REC club, band, and jazz band. In her free time she hung out with friends and her sister. She had a few jobs growing up also.
She babysat a lot, worked at the library, and the dentist office. My mother also helped teach bible school, catechism, and attended youth group at Hope
Reformed Church. My mother met my dad, Doug Krull when she was a junior in high school. They dated for a while and ended getting married. They
then had three beautiful daughters, Allyssa, Megan, and Rebecca. My mom went to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, to get her education

Life Changing Moment In Life
When reminiscing on my past I'm able to recall the certain moments, which have led to a path where I find myself at a cross road. Searching through
the databases of my mind, I'm reminded of cherished memories, though I attempt to pinpoint the times in which I have been successful in my decision
making; I cannot help but deliberate whether my past conveyed such a challenging decision. My future is unpredictable, and my choices will decide
my prolonged existence; positive or negative I must act on them now, or else I will miss the train to my forthcoming. Through the life changing
moments, which led to my admiration for the ones close to me; I have found what identifies me as an individual. Nonetheless, will it be enough for the
rapid pace at which my future emerges?
Life changing, it's a term to identify an event that will forever transform someone, and the life they are currently living; sounds self–explanatory,
though it isn't such a simple phrase. Considering the expression; life changing is watching a friend fight cancer, battling each day not knowing if she
will get better. Moreover, Parents who are combating a recession, struggling to generate money with the profession they find themselves in; moving
from house to house trying to stay joyful to a child who may not identify the extent of the situation. Trails such as these have caused my life to be
significantly altered. However, these events are only a minor fraction of my narrative. For instance, I've helped lead a movement against bullying,
being triumphant with the results. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to represent my school at a World Leadership Conference, being able to express
heartache, happiness, and love to individuals, some who have experienced horrible tragedies, was such an eye–opening experience. These events in my
life have erupt a fire in my soul, and striving to build upon each situation will only be beneficial for my future endeavors.
Reflecting these life changing moments, I come to a realization that not all memories are so influential, but more of a comforting feeling. My family
vacations to Walt Disney World helped bring imagination and inspiration inside of a young boy's mind. Playing on my childhood play

Oprah Winfrey Life
"All my life I have wanted to lead people to an empathy space. To a gratitude space. I want us all to fulfill our greatest potential. To find our calling,
and summon the courage to live it." I would like to thank Oprah for showing me that even though life can be hard, I don't have to let it turn me cold
and heartless. She had a rough start in life but she continued to persevere and help others. I admire her persistence to always try to do better. She was
born into poverty and her mother was a teenage single mom. Although she moved around a lot as a little girl, after she went to live with her father, she
became an honors student in high school. She was voted most popular girl, won the Miss Black Tennessee beauty pageant at age 17, won an oratory...

Oprah emphasizes spiritual values, healthy living and self–help. One of my favorite episodes on her show was when daughters whose dads had
abandoned them, and she teaches them how to love themselves. She teaches them that their worth is not based on their father's actions and opinions.
She also teaches them all men aren't the same, and their boyfriends and husbands truly love them.
In 2000, Oprah's Angel Network began presenting a $100,000 "Use Your Life Award" to people who are using their own lives to improve the lives
of others. She has given away $400 million to educational causes. She has also given over 400 scholarships to Morehouse college in Atlanta, GE.
Winfrey is a dedicated child activists for children's rights. She founded the Family for Better Lives foundation. Oprah is one of my role models for my
career. I want to go into social work. I want to help families and children.
She has persevered and helped others in her rough life. Most people would say she was memorable for being down–to–earth. She became the
highest–paid performer on television, the richest self–made woman in America, and the richest African–American of the 20th century. The Wall Street
Journal wrote, "It's a relief to see a gab–monger with a fond but realistic assessment of her own cultural and religious roots.." I really admire that she

Brandy Tottress: How My Mom Changed My Life
There are two people that have impacted my life the most in a positive way and that would be my mom and my aunt. When I think of these women I
am automatically encouraged and know that I can do anything.
My mom, Brandy Tottress, is what I call a real fighter. She is a single parent that works full–time and is in the process of building her own business.
My mom has always been my biggest cheerleader. She refuses to let me be down and stay down. She's always telling to breathe and don't stress. I
am legally blind in my left eye so there are times when all the class reading can be stressful. My mom will come in and read the information to me
to give my "good eye" a break. There are a lot of times that I know my mom maybe going through something but I watch her pick herself and keep
going. That's my mom she's my rock! ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This woman is the person that I go to other than my mom when I need someone to keep it real with me. She's not going to sugar coat any situation for
me. For example, during my senior year of high school I went through an extremely selfish phase. My mom was slightly more gray than usual and my
auntie set into me. She told me basically to get focused or I would be graduating with my little sister. Needless–to–say I got it together and graduated in
2016. I love that we can laugh together too with our private book club. We love to read and discuss urban romance novels. The greatest thing about my
aunt and what I admire about her most is the fact that she is a full–time hairstylist. She loves hair and she's a boss in her field. She lets me know that

Why The Athlete Is Not For Their Parents
When someone looks at an professional athlete the only thing that comes to mind is how far the person has gone in order to achieve his or her dream.
It has become an instinct for people to just look at the superficial part of the athlete such as fame and riches which blocks out the people that worked
the hardest. Behind every athlete there is a parent that is supporting them on their highs and on their lows, which is the reason why the athlete is
always thankful for their parents. But the most outstanding parents are the resilient ones because no matter the rough situation they are going through
they are able to give their all for their sons or daughters.
Diego Ticllacuri is a Peruvian soccer player that not only gives it his best for the love of the sport but there is a reason why he works so hard, that
reason is his parents. Diego admires his parents for working so hard and making the best out of every situation, he said they both show resilience.
Diego admires his dad, Edgar Ticllacuri–Soto, because of what he went through during his childhood and to bring him and his family to the US.
Edgar Ticllacuri–Soto was born in Lima, Peru in 1960 to Marina Soto. Marina Soto calls Edgar "my light of hope during the storm" or "mi luz de
esperanza durante la tormenta" as she mentioned during a Skype call interview. She said this because Edgar's father left her when she was still
pregnant which led her to a time of depression. But when Edgar was born she said that her whole world

because he was so angry that Deborah Lilly's mom abandoned him. Most people say that words don't hurt which can be true in some cases but what
was different in Lilly's case was that "T. Ray," her father wouldn't talk to her at all and didn't show Lilly any love, it was all anger. Rosaleen was more

inferior but she didn't care about their color. When she ran away from her father T. Ray to go find out more about her mom. She was living with
black people which must of been tough, having to deal with all the hatred and criticism got for living with colored people. She didn't care about all
that because she wasn't racist and the black colored girls she was living with were very kind to her, except June. She was a little mean and suspicious
because she was white and June had thought Lilly was going to be racist but the more she gotta know Lilly the less she hated her, and they ended up

Mother Essay : My Mother
My Mom Moms are the most special and pure beings in the world. They are that being who gives everything for love, for her home, for her children
and grandchildren. The mother is such a blessed woman that she endures so many things for the sake of her children, while many times we are
ungrateful to them, assuming that our mothers will always be there for us.
When moms still there with you, it is fortunate to have her, because the kind of love she gives is the purest you can ever find. My mom, for example,
is very special to me, since she has taught me how to live and how to value things in life. She has always been present at all times and has not spent a

She always encourages me to work hard, stay focus and never give up. She has been a great example of how to be an excellent mother and wife. What I
admire most about her is that when I was a baby she used to work everyday and I am surprised that she always had time for me and her work, I mean
that working and taking care of a baby is very difficult. Everyday she gets up to work, to be sure that I have everything I need. She's a mother and wife
focused on giving her family the best of her. If my family were in need, she would do whatever it takes to get what is needed.
Another reason why my mother is very special is because she always makes space and takes time to go to my volleyball games. She sometimes has
to drive three or four hours and stay in a hotel just to be present in my games. She gets really involved in the game, she cheers a lot, and she is my
number one cheerleader. My mom sometimes takes goodies to treat my teammates. They all respect and love her because how she treats everyone
on the team. She gets excited and has a lot of fun in my games. I'm thankful for what my mom has done for me. Everyday she's looking for different
ways to improve my lifestyle. The sacrifices she has to make to help me move forward is something I will never be able to pay her back. There's
nothing better than share with her my challenges and achievements. I always ask God to bless me allowing me to have

My Mother Influenced Me
Out of everyone in my life I feel as if my mother is the person who influences me most. My mother is someone who is very sweet and would do
anything for her kids as well as her family to make sure they are happy and smiling. As I started to grow up and started to go out and be more
independent that is when I started to realize what an impact my mom has on my life. Growing up my parents were divorced and my mom was the
one who basically raised me on her own. She showed me right from wrong and guided me and pushed me to do the right things in life and strive for
success. As I grew up my mom was always right by my side and accepted my dreams and wanted me to go out and pursue every dream I have. And
now looking back at everything my mom has taught me I can't thank her enough! Because without my mom pushing me to succeed, being there for me
when times were tough and being a forgiving person I would not be where I am today.

My Mother: A Brief Biography Of Sammie Baugher

mother to four wonderful children Nicole, Willy, Kayla, and Faith. Sammie was born on July 15, 1975 to Rosemary Maestas. Sammie is a strong, good
natured, kind hearted, loving mother, sister, and daughter. One of the many reasons Sammie is strong is because on December 7, 2000 at the age of

and taught me a lot. She also listened to me all the time. She is my protector and angel in this world. In the future, if I could be a mother, I would
like to be as my dear mother: a special, simple woman with a lot of love to give. My mom has inspired me to be strong and to be there for my family.
She is a single parent of four, working but also trying to be there for all of us kids. Even when times get rough she is still always there for us kids.

Explain Why I Want To Be An Obstetrician
Have you thought about your career in the future? Most people in my school know what they want their career for them to be. For example, my
cousin who is now a senior, decided that he wanted to go to the military, like many other young men. Even I, a twelve year old girl, knows and
planned what she wants to do in the future. I will try really hard to become obstetrician, a type a doctor who delivers babies. The reason for my
choice is because of many things about them except the money. That is why I always try really hard in school and it pays off. I chose my career, now
it is your turn.
One of the reasons I want to be an obstetrician is because I, as any other person, admire there work. I do not care how much money I will get paid
because the only reason I want to be an obstetrician is because I have always admired them because they are the people who help bring new life

Also, I don't get your whole sports thing. Running, skiing, or biking for hours just doesn't appeal to me. And it makes you so tired! You're usually
snoring on the couch before I leave for the night.
So, OK. We aren't exactly two of a kind. Sometimes it shows. Many a long day together has ended in hostile silence. I'm not trying to put you down
here. Actually, I'm trying to be a little funny. Actually, I'm avoiding the part that's hard for me: the part where I tell you why you are myrole model. The
part where I tell you why I admire you so much. The sentimental part.
Telling you this presents a problem. You're the touchy feely one. How am I going to do this? Fortunately, being a good engineering student has
made me a good problem solver. Or maybe it's the other way around. Anyway, I can solve this problem. I have a bunch of reasons I admire you. I'll
simply put them into a bullet list. Then I will elaborate. I love bullet lists. They're organized, succinct, and pleasing to the eye. Here's one for you:
* Career
* Friends
* Sports
* Independence
* Family
Careers
You've spent most of your adult life working as a nurse in the emergency room. You must have saved hundreds of lives, but you never mention it. You
would rather tell funny, usually vulgar, stories about what happens at work.
Then, in your mid–thirties (over ten years ago!) you did something

Why Do You Admire Helen Keller
"Strong people don't put down others down, they lift them up" is a internet sensational quote that means a lot to me. It means a lot to me because I
admire many strong people. These people have never groaned once while suffering through pain. I admire Helen Keller greatly because she persevered
through being blind and deaf beginning at the age of just six months old. Another strong person that I admire is my mother. I admire my mother
because she has fit time into her daily schedule to take my sisters and I all kinds of places when she could have been doing other things. I also admire
my mother because she has accomplished many things while going through very hard times. The last person that I admire the most is my father. My
father is the strongest person I know because his body has been through too many injuries to even count; during those injuries, he never cried once.

Keller funded many projects and started many organizations. She wrote a great amount of letters to ask for donations to fund her projects. Eight of the
many letters that she wrote went to eight different presidents. Helen Keller is known as an inspirational figure. Helen Keller is the most admirable
person in my point of view because of all of her accomplishments.
Secondly, I admire is my mother. My mother has accomplished so many things during hard times. My mom has accomplished having three children,
having a job, taking care of her mother with Alzheimer's, and many many other things. My mom's mother, my grandmother, was diagnosed with
Alzheimer's Dementia when she fell and hit her head about two years ago. My mom has struggled with taking care of her and taking care of her
children, my sisters and I, along with sending my oldest sister off to college this year. I want to be just like my mother and I want to be able to
handle as much as she does and not let it take hold of me. My mother is the strongest woman I know. She is truly an inspiration to

Personal Narrative: My Mom Is My Hero
Whether it be an actor, famous athlete, or just someone you adore, they inspire you and the decisions you make. To me, that person is my mom.
Ever since I could remember, she has been supporting any dreams or goals, I was trying to reach. First of all, my mom grew up poor and she was
the youngest out of six children. At the age of three she was placed in a foster home and remained in foster care until she aged out of the system.
Overall, I credit the upbringing my mother had to overcome, shaped her into the leader she is today. In my opinion, my mom demonstrates leadership
by overcoming obstacles, having a strong work ethic and by giving back to the community.
Secondly, her strong work ethic and self determination are some traits I admire most. My ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Love Walked In Sandoval Character
While reading Love Walked In, one character strikes me in particular. Mateo "Teo" Sandoval. The charming, loving, brother
–in–law of Cornelia Brown,
and probably the best father figure in Clare Hobbs' life. The reason I enjoy his character so much is because he reminds me of my mom. I know
this seems weird because Teo is much younger than my mother and a guy, but it's true. The reason I say this is because both Teo and my mom share
a quality that I admire in both: the ability to give great advice and comfort. Throughout the story Clare searches for guidance and someone with whom
she can share her feelings, and when she can't find this in her biological father she turns toward Teo. She needs him even more so after her father
passes away. Teo

Personal Narrative-Coloring Analysis
Me coloring when I was four helped me solve and understand my own advanced biometrics into who I am today. Totally bantering.
Growing up was not the best, but it was not the worst either. I guess I could say that I was overall content with the environment I was raised in,
although there were some difficult times that I wish had not happened, but I would not change a thing because all those obstacles made me become
strong both mentally and physically, independent, and ambitious.
I lived in a small trailer home with my mom, dad, older brother and younger brother. I loved that little trailer, even if it was not the best, I still called
it home. Even though I loved that place, there were times when I noticed that my parents would struggle financially and they wanted us to have more
than a little home, they wanted the best for us. There were also personal difficult obstacles we had to overcome as a family. As a result, my mom went
back into college to study for a Registered Nurse. I didn't spend as much time with my mom as one child wishes they could, but I knew she was
working lots of hours and going to class just to be able to give us the life she thought we deserved. The same applies for my dad, I knew he would
come home from work in pain, exhausted, but he was doing it all for his kids. As I was growing up and noticing these things about them, I began to

Compare And Contrast Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry
Even though Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry is about a family very different from my own, I identify with the main character, Cassie, because we
are similar in some ways and I admire her. Just like Cassie's mom, my mom was a teacher, and I have close relationships with my siblings. These
similarities help me put myself in Cassie's place. I admire her because she is brave and fights for her rights and what she believes in. She always
sticks up for herself. For example, when the white kids' school bus purposely splashes Cassie and her siblings, they dig a ditch and the bus gets
stuck in the mud. Cassie always sticks up for Little Man, her younger brother. She tells her mom about the poor quality books that upset Little Man,
and she comforts him when she is upset. Cassie and her brothers are always hanging out together. In my family, my sister takes me shopping and
hangs out with me. I also play outside and jump on the trampoline with my younger brother. Even though I am similar to Cassie in some ways, we

My Dad : A Short Story
Both of my parents worked arduously to be where they are now. I always talk about the struggles my mom went through when she came to America
at the age of eighteen, but I do not always acknowledge the struggles my dad goes through still to this day and I greatly admire him for all the hard
work he does for my family and I. Like my mom, my dad immigrated from India, but after about a year my parents got married. Once my dad
arrived, he had to get used to the new environment and people right away. He had no help from his parents because they were in India, so he only had
my mom to lean on.

He probably spent so much more time studying than I do today. Not only did he have to worry about school and work, he also had my mom, siblings

After two years he graduated. We were all so happy at his graduation. I screamed as loud as I could when they called my dad's name. Though he
graduated, he still needed to take the NCLEX. He borrowed and bought many books to study from. It was crazy. He practiced thousands of
problems. He had to pass in order to become a nurse. When the test was over, my dad really thought he failed. We were all nervous and worried,
hoping for a passing grade. The results came out and my dad passed. Now he was a registered nurse.
He looked around for a job at different hospitals, but when an opening came at Crozer, he took the position. He was finally able to work as a
nurse. Many hospitals wanted nurses with more education, therefore my dad planned to go back to school to get his BSN. This time he took an
online course from Widener University, which was near Crozer. It was a quick program but it required a lot of writing. The topics were often random
and did not relate anything to nursing. My dad struggled but tried to improve with each essay. Many times he had multiple essays to write each week.

My Mom Research Paper
Heroes come in many shapes and sizes, like the iconic heroes we see on the big screen, for example, Batman and Superman, or normal everyday
heroes, like a doctor or a firefighter. But I think that the biggest hero is the one that is closest to me, and that is my Mom. Everyday, I admire and look
up to her, and others should too.
My Mom teaches heroic life lessons that you and I should admire her for. A time this happened is when I first realized my Mom was myhero at the age
of 5. We had just moved into a small town called Livingston, from New York City. So, naturally, I was very nervous that I would have no friends
and was refusing to go to the first day of Kindergarten. I decided that I wouldn't move at all. But my Mom promised me I would have a good time,
comforted me, and with a kiss, picked me up and carried me into the car, all while saying that my education is the most important thing in the world.
That day, she stayed with me in school for the whole day. Even though at that time, I thought... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

last five years, and when I was younger, her work schedule always confused me. She was never there anymore to play, or do arts and crafts with, or
help me with my homework. Because of this, I started to do everything with my Dad. But as I got older, I finally understood that she was working
as hard as possible to make money for our family, to let me have a good life. She was trying to make sure I could have food, clothes, and shelter, and
that is heroic. And because of that, I always admire her, and if she was your heroic Mom, you'd admire her too for being so dedicated to working for

The Importance Of The Father And My Father
The man that I admire more than anyone else is my dad, Bryan J. McCormick. My dad has a love for his family like nobody I've ever met before. My
dad is my shoulder to lean on. My father is a self–made man, with the strongest willpower of anyone I have ever met. He has taught me what it means
to be a hard worker and the value of a dollar. But most importantly, my dad is a man ofGod. Respect is a very important thing and my father is the man
who taught me what it feels like to not be respected and that no matter what I should always treat everyone I meet with respect.
I am the daughter of a farmer. My dad is a farmer and everyday he gets up before dawn and doesn't come home until after dark. He works long
grueling hours in the sweltering heat and blistering cold. Sometimes, dad has to help birth baby calves during the frigid air of the winter and early
spring. At an early age in my life my dad taught me how to look and listen rather than to ask questions; for example, a cow can't use English to
communicate but through observation my dad has shown me that you will in fact still know exactly what she is saying.
My dad is a man of faith. My father has shown me the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. I have heard my father, with his deep voice that
roars like rumbles of thunder, pray all of my life. I have witnessed my father pacing my hospital rooms before all of my surgeries, with a voice that
was thickly coated and trembling with worry, talking to God like He was right

Family Summary : My Family Of Family
Family Summary The significant caretakers and siblings that a person grows up with, or the first social group a person belongs to is one's family of
origin. This is often a person's biological family or an adoptive family. My family of origin consists of my father, Jamie, my mother, Lori, and my
brother, Morgan. In the past year, I have also gained a sister–in–law, Katie. These people have had an influence on how I see myself, others, and society.
Success in my family is an admirable aim for each member. My grandparents and their parents always strived for success. It is something that has
been passed down through generations. In early elementary school, my brother and I knew my parent's expectations for us. We needed to give a
hundred percent in all that we did, and if we tried our best, the results were acceptable. My parents pushed us to reach new goals, but never did they
scold us for not making the team or not being the smartest in our class. In my family, failure was quitting early or not putting forth effort.
In my opinion, my brother is the most successful in our family. My parents have accomplished a lot and have wonderful careers and lives, but I
believe my brother pushes himself beyond his initial goals and works hard to reach his dreams each day. Morgan is currently a senior at Ball State
University. Just in his four years at college, he has started his own business, had several part time jobs, and an incredible internship that has offered

Gender Stereotypes In Film
1. How do culture, family and the generation gap play a role within the film and with what characters?
As generation grows more and more thing start to change. Like tradition, and the culture. Ana grew up in a total different way than her parents did. Ana
had everything that she needed. She would still live with her parents but she was required to work. Its different in the U.S because everyone goes

My Mother Essay
My mother was born on June 27th, 1977, in a tiny rural area called El Cerrrito, in the outskirts of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She lived a very
sad, somber, and unhappy childhood as she lost her father at the young age of 2. This tragic incident lead to my grandmother upholding the role of both
mother and father. She worked fulltime as a photographer and provided for the household, while simultaneously raising my mother with the help of her
parents. This caused great unhappiness in my mom's family. My Great Grandparents, still alive today, helped raise my mom as a child. They served as

Furthermore, my mother has always disregarded gender or societal norms, and I love her for this, but she does admit that being a woman has its
advantages. Women have it easier when it comes to receiving help or assistance for any task. "Women just smile and we can get away with
anything", she said half seriously, but then shifted the topic towards how women get more help from the government, men, and even have an
advantage when it comes to child custody. These things are all true, and even though she had a harsh childhood that restricted her from doing
many things, as a girl, she overcame these obstacles and carved her own path. Although the dreams of becoming an actress where never realized
due to the lack of opportunity in socioeconomic status and support from family members, my mother's second dream to raise her own family was
accomplished. Married at the age of 18 and expecting a child, my mother said that marriage was exactly what she expected. Even though my parents
are no longer married, she enjoyed her 14 years of marriage. The product of those 14 years of marriage were 3 kids, including myself. Now my
mother is expecting another child. To my surprise, my mother expressed that she indeed treats my brother differently than me or my sister. She said
that she treated girls as more independent, strong minded, and unafraid, whereas my brother is treated as more dependent, weak minded, and afraid.

Tuck Everlasting Analysis
Recently, the Grade 6 class finished reading Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. The story is about a girl named Winnie Foster who runs away
and meets the Tuck family. They are immortal due to a spring in a forest that belongs to Winnie's family. They teach her how life is a cycle and
about death. The book ends with Winnie pouring the spring water on the toad that "convinced" her to run away so that it would be safe forever. In
the epilogue we also find out that Winnie died and decided not to drink from the spring and be immortal like the Tucks. I think the ending of the
book is sad, but I like it and the whole book in general is a very good book. The message in this book is that life is a cycle and I think it is very
important because sometimes people want to be immortal, but they don't think about not completing the cycle and being lonely and kind of being
stuck. This message relates to my life because since I am a Christian I believe that when I die I will go to heaven. So it relates because if I know that I
will never die, there's nothing to look forward to.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Write An Essay On Outliers By Malcolm Gladwell
As I got older, my mother constantly told me that to achieve mastery over any one subject, you must get 10,000 hours of practice. This was a
reference to the book Outliers, written by Malcolm Gladwell. My mother taught me to be honest, to believe in trust, and to never lie. This inspired
me because it made me who I am. Through my life, I have never thought of who was inspiring me to go on; urging me to continue to do what I was
doing and to strive and aspire for greater things. Now that I think of it, my mother was the one who was inspiring me. I admire my mom because she
has a positive attitude, she works hard, and she explains things to me in a way that makes sense. My mother has a positive attitude. For example, when
I accidentally spilled anti–bacterial soap on the wooden table, my mom thought positively and said that mistakes happen. In addition, when I was
stressed about getting into All–County Orchestra, my mother said that I would get in and if I didn't, the world wasn't going to end. I admire her

Descriptive Essay About My Dad

  • 1. Descriptive Essay About My Dad I currently live with my parents who adopted me at the age of ten and fostered me since the age of two. My dad, a father of seven raised me as though I was one of his own and never regarded me as anything less. He has always guided me with a strong hand and soft voice and through the years my admiration for him grew. My dad has many stunning qualities that I admire but three of them stand out the most. He is loyal, humble, and dedicated. My dad is loyal, as a man who was separated from his wife for long durations of time during the military his love for her stayed true. My father first met my mom in the summer of sixty–nine she was sixteen and he was seventeen. Immediately they had a connection and a couple weeks later they started dating. My parents dated the rest of high school experiencing the ups and downs of a relationship. Drafted into the military in June of seventy–two my parents decided to get married before they moved to New Mexico. Forty–five years later and their love grows stronger each and every day. My dad is loyal to his children too. My dad supports our choices and promises to always be there for us and give us advice when we need it. He makes sure that we are all happy and he protects us. My dad always stood up for his military comrades and protected them and made sure they never questioned his credibility. To this day, my dad, continues to be the loyal man he was in the past and I admire him for the person he has become. My dad, a veteran of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Dez Bryant was drafted to the Dallas Cowboys in 2010. He was the twenty–fourth person in the overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. After signing the contract, Dez became the second–highest paid wide receivers in the NFL. The Cowboys wanted Dez to have the jersey number 88, which was passed on by Hall of Famer Michael Irvin and Drew Pearson. After every touchdown made by Dez Bryant, he throws up the symbol, "The x" with his arms. Dez told reporters that this means that he is X–ing out all of the bad things and all of the negativity. The football player I admire is Dez Bryant because of his football childhood, he inspires me to do new things, and his commitment to the team. I admire Dez Bryant because of his football childhood. Dez started playing football for his high school football team when he was in his senior and junior season. After high school, Dez attended the Oklahoma State University to play football. Dez Bryant's performance in his games shows the importance of practicing. Dez Bryant has been an NFL football player for the Dallas Cowboys for six years straight. He once said "You want to be the best there is? Get out there and earn it!" This inspiring quote tells me that you can't always get what you want without working for it. This also tells me that he is confident when he plays football. Dez Bryant is also committed to his family. Dez uses his money to help support his family, he told reporters of sports day "The reason my mom sold drugs and went to jail is so we could live...She paid a hard price for it. • 3. I Admire My Mother Essay When you look at my family right now, you can see that everyone is separated from each other. My mom and sister live in the states, my other sister lives in the Philippines, and I live here on Saipan with my father. My mother is the kind of person that can voice her opinions, one that can speak to people, and someone who can find a way through any situation. These are some of the reasons I admire my mother deeply. When you look at my mother, she is a lady of Asian descent who seemingly has a quiet and menacing aura. One thing I admire about my mom is the fact that she can speak her mind out, whether it was hurtful to one or not. I recall a time when we were at a big mall with a seemingly endless vast of clothing, which seemed to be Macy's clothing shop if I recall correctly. We then entered the faded sliding door in which the intoxicating smell of sweet perfume assaulted my nostrils; the smell was extremely thick it seemed as if you could see the waft of perfume. This scent caused my mother to say "The smell here is horrid", and the staff working there looked at my mother wondering "who was this lady who just insulted the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During those adventurous trips I seem to notice that people often spoke to her. In just about anywhere, whether it may be a shop or a hospital, my mother seemed to run into people that knew her, including the dock with the big huge ships; someone seemed to have known my mother. I remember going to Managaha and my mom just stepped into a boat and asked a man to take us to Managaha, and he did. Apparently my mom was his first aid instructor, so he gave us a free ride there and back. I saw the glittering ocean and I smelled the fresh salty breeze, it was almost as if you could taste the air of salt. The ocean was a magical place, after we stayed at Managaha for a bit we returned home. My mother's affable personality was one of her charming marks that attracted people to ... • 4. My Reflection On My Mother Essay A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where she is today. I will begin by telling you a little bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside of George with her parents, Harris and Bev Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in a lot of different activities. She was in the play, large group and individual speech, a cheerleader, played the drums in band, was in student council, secretary of her class, REC club, band, and jazz band. In her free time she hung out with friends and her sister. She had a few jobs growing up also. She babysat a lot, worked at the library, and the dentist office. My mother also helped teach bible school, catechism, and attended youth group at Hope Reformed Church. My mother met my dad, Doug Krull when she was a junior in high school. They dated for a while and ended getting married. They then had three beautiful daughters, Allyssa, Megan, and Rebecca. My mom went to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, to get her education ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Life Changing Moment In Life When reminiscing on my past I'm able to recall the certain moments, which have led to a path where I find myself at a cross road. Searching through the databases of my mind, I'm reminded of cherished memories, though I attempt to pinpoint the times in which I have been successful in my decision making; I cannot help but deliberate whether my past conveyed such a challenging decision. My future is unpredictable, and my choices will decide my prolonged existence; positive or negative I must act on them now, or else I will miss the train to my forthcoming. Through the life changing moments, which led to my admiration for the ones close to me; I have found what identifies me as an individual. Nonetheless, will it be enough for the rapid pace at which my future emerges? Life changing, it's a term to identify an event that will forever transform someone, and the life they are currently living; sounds self–explanatory, though it isn't such a simple phrase. Considering the expression; life changing is watching a friend fight cancer, battling each day not knowing if she will get better. Moreover, Parents who are combating a recession, struggling to generate money with the profession they find themselves in; moving from house to house trying to stay joyful to a child who may not identify the extent of the situation. Trails such as these have caused my life to be significantly altered. However, these events are only a minor fraction of my narrative. For instance, I've helped lead a movement against bullying, being triumphant with the results. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to represent my school at a World Leadership Conference, being able to express heartache, happiness, and love to individuals, some who have experienced horrible tragedies, was such an eye–opening experience. These events in my life have erupt a fire in my soul, and striving to build upon each situation will only be beneficial for my future endeavors. Reflecting these life changing moments, I come to a realization that not all memories are so influential, but more of a comforting feeling. My family vacations to Walt Disney World helped bring imagination and inspiration inside of a young boy's mind. Playing on my childhood play –set in our ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Oprah Winfrey Life "All my life I have wanted to lead people to an empathy space. To a gratitude space. I want us all to fulfill our greatest potential. To find our calling, and summon the courage to live it." I would like to thank Oprah for showing me that even though life can be hard, I don't have to let it turn me cold and heartless. She had a rough start in life but she continued to persevere and help others. I admire her persistence to always try to do better. She was born into poverty and her mother was a teenage single mom. Although she moved around a lot as a little girl, after she went to live with her father, she became an honors student in high school. She was voted most popular girl, won the Miss Black Tennessee beauty pageant at age 17, won an oratory... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Oprah emphasizes spiritual values, healthy living and self–help. One of my favorite episodes on her show was when daughters whose dads had abandoned them, and she teaches them how to love themselves. She teaches them that their worth is not based on their father's actions and opinions. She also teaches them all men aren't the same, and their boyfriends and husbands truly love them. In 2000, Oprah's Angel Network began presenting a $100,000 "Use Your Life Award" to people who are using their own lives to improve the lives of others. She has given away $400 million to educational causes. She has also given over 400 scholarships to Morehouse college in Atlanta, GE. Winfrey is a dedicated child activists for children's rights. She founded the Family for Better Lives foundation. Oprah is one of my role models for my career. I want to go into social work. I want to help families and children. She has persevered and helped others in her rough life. Most people would say she was memorable for being down–to–earth. She became the highest–paid performer on television, the richest self–made woman in America, and the richest African–American of the 20th century. The Wall Street Journal wrote, "It's a relief to see a gab–monger with a fond but realistic assessment of her own cultural and religious roots.." I really admire that she hasn't let fame change ... • 8. Brandy Tottress: How My Mom Changed My Life There are two people that have impacted my life the most in a positive way and that would be my mom and my aunt. When I think of these women I am automatically encouraged and know that I can do anything. My mom, Brandy Tottress, is what I call a real fighter. She is a single parent that works full–time and is in the process of building her own business. My mom has always been my biggest cheerleader. She refuses to let me be down and stay down. She's always telling to breathe and don't stress. I am legally blind in my left eye so there are times when all the class reading can be stressful. My mom will come in and read the information to me to give my "good eye" a break. She told me basically to get focused or I would be graduating with my little sister. Needless–to–say I got it together and graduated in 2016. I love that we can laugh together too with our private book club. We love to read and discuss urban romance novels. The greatest thing about my aunt and what I admire about her most is the fact that she is a full–time hairstylist. She loves hair and she's a boss in her field. • 10. Why The Athlete Is Not For Their Parents When someone looks at an professional athlete the only thing that comes to mind is how far the person has gone in order to achieve his or her dream. It has become an instinct for people to just look at the superficial part of the athlete such as fame and riches which blocks out the people that worked the hardest. Behind every athlete there is a parent that is supporting them on their highs and on their lows, which is the reason why the athlete is always thankful for their parents. But the most outstanding parents are the resilient ones because no matter the rough situation they are going through they are able to give their all for their sons or daughters. Diego Ticllacuri is a Peruvian soccer player that not only gives it his best for the love of the sport but there is a reason why he works so hard, that reason is his parents. Marina Soto calls Edgar "my light of hope during the storm" or "mi luz de esperanza durante la tormenta" as she mentioned during a Skype call interview. Deborah Lilly Character Analysis DocViewer Page of 2 Zoom Pages In the Secret Life of Bees the character I particularly admire the most would be Lilly because shes someone who grew up with one parent, her father was never really there for her and would constantly abuse her. The abuse was both mentally and physically, because he was so angry that Deborah Lilly's mom abandoned him. Most people say that words don't hurt which can be true in some cases but what was different in Lilly's case was that "T. Ray," her father wouldn't talk to her at all and didn't show Lilly any love, it was all anger. When she ran away from her father T. Ray to go find out more about her mom. She was living with black people which must of been tough, having to deal with all the hatred and criticism got for living with colored people. She didn't care about all that because she wasn't racist and the black colored girls she was living with were very kind to her, except June. The mother is such a blessed woman that she endures so many things for the sake of her children, while many times we are ungrateful to them, assuming that our mothers will always be there for us. When moms still there with you, it is fortunate to have her, because the kind of love she gives is the purest you can ever find. Everyday she gets up to work, to be sure that I have everything I need. She's a mother and wife focused on giving her family the best of her. If my family were in need, she would do whatever it takes to get what is needed. Another reason why my mother is very special is because she always makes space and takes time to go to my volleyball games. She sometimes has to drive three or four hours and stay in a hotel just to be present in my games. She gets really involved in the game, she cheers a lot, and she is my number one cheerleader. My mom sometimes takes goodies to treat my teammates. They all respect and love her because how she treats everyone on the team. She gets excited and has a lot of fun in my games. And now looking back at everything my mom has taught me I can't thank her enough! For example, my cousin who is now a senior, decided that he wanted to go to the military, like many other young men. Even I, a twelve year old girl, knows and planned what she wants to do in the future. I will try really hard to become obstetrician, a type a doctor who delivers babies. • 36. Gender Stereotypes In Film 1. How do culture, family and the generation gap play a role within the film and with what characters? As generation grows more and more thing start to change. Like tradition, and the culture. Ana grew up in a total different way than her parents did. Ana had everything that she needed. She would still live with her parents but she was required to work. Its different in the U.S because everyone goes through school and then go to attend a university. Versus with Ana'sfamily she had to stay at home and work. Her mother Carmen would tell her how she would start working at 13 years old and all her stories about her childhood in Mexico. As with Ana she had a problem with that because she wanted to attend to a university that her parents wouldn't ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ana's mother is still following her mexican culture tradition. Like wanting her daughters to get married and do housework. Ana's mother was so against Ana wanting to go to college right after high school. I can compare to some relatives with this topic. For instance, how Ana got accepted to Columbia University with a full ride and when the teacher said it was in New York City things changes. Carmen was not happy because she would be moving far aways. Mexican families always want their children close to them because of Mexican families stick together. Contrast to Ana's father he was more understanding and willing to understand. However, his wife Carmen was a whole different story. Ana's father seemed like he wanted Ana to have that opportunity but something he listed more to his wife. As in the last minutes of the movie he gave his daughter his ... • 37. My Mother Essay My mother was born on June 27th, 1977, in a tiny rural area called El Cerrrito, in the outskirts of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She lived a very sad, somber, and unhappy childhood as she lost her father at the young age of 2. This tragic incident lead to my grandmother upholding the role of both mother and father. She worked fulltime as a photographer and provided for the household, while simultaneously raising my mother with the help of her parents. This caused great unhappiness in my mom's family. My Great Grandparents, still alive today, helped raise my mom as a child. They served as the second parents that my mother never really had, but due to this inattention, my mother was able to do what she pleased. . The one person that my ... Women have it easier when it comes to receiving help or assistance for any task. "Women just smile and we can get away with anything", she said half seriously, but then shifted the topic towards how women get more help from the government, men, and even have an advantage when it comes to child custody. These things are all true, and even though she had a harsh childhood that restricted her from doing many things, as a girl, she overcame these obstacles and carved her own path. Although the dreams of becoming an actress where never realized due to the lack of opportunity in socioeconomic status and support from family members, my mother's second dream to raise her own family was accomplished. Married at the age of 18 and expecting a child, my mother said that marriage was exactly what she expected. Even though my parents are no longer married, she enjoyed her 14 years of marriage. The product of those 14 years of marriage were 3 kids, including myself. Now my mother is expecting another child. To my surprise, my mother expressed that she indeed treats my brother differently than me or my sister. She said that she treated girls as more independent, strong minded, and unafraid, whereas my brother is treated as more dependent, weak minded, and afraid. Usually it is the opposite, ... • 38. Tuck Everlasting Analysis Recently, the Grade 6 class finished reading Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. The story is about a girl named Winnie Foster who runs away and meets the Tuck family. They are immortal due to a spring in a forest that belongs to Winnie's family. They teach her how life is a cycle and about death. The book ends with Winnie pouring the spring water on the toad that "convinced" her to run away so that it would be safe forever. In the epilogue we also find out that Winnie died and decided not to drink from the spring and be immortal like the Tucks. I think the ending of the book is sad, but I like it and the whole book in general is a very good book. The message in this book is that life is a cycle and I think it is very important because sometimes people want to be immortal, but they don't think about not completing the cycle and being lonely and kind of being stuck. This message relates to my life because since I am a Christian I believe that when I die I will go to heaven. So it relates because if I know that I will never die, there's nothing to look forward to.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Moving, growing, changing, never the same two minutes together." It means that life is always moving along with its and busy. I see a strong connection between this quote and my life. In this school, things are always changing because when you have friends and people coming in from all over the world, I've noticed that people are always leaving and the school is always changing. Things around us are also always changing, for example my mom is starting a business so pretty soon I will be travelling a lot more and seeing my mom a lot ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. The Pros And Cons Of School Shootings I woke up in the morning to my brother crying, my mom as drunk as ever and my dad passed out on the couch. I lift the sheets off of me, the air is as cold as usual, it feels like my whole body is an iceberg and the only way to keep it warm is to lay in bed, but I get up anyway. I step onto the wood floor and it is even colder than the air, but I ignore it, I look in my closet and find something to wear. Then I step into the hallway to see my mother and yell at her for being drunk again and she just waves lazily like she always does. I hear a noise in the living room and notice the tv news is on the people are saying that there have been school shootings and kidnappings, but then my dad falls off the couch, bangs his head on the small brown table next to the couch and curses and I forget about the school shootings and kidnappings. He catches my attention, I walk over to him and He gets up and looks into a mirror outlined with wood. ''Dad are you okay?," I asked in a caring way. "yeah i'm fine, but can you get a band aid," dad said a little bit of pain and exasperation. I reach for a band aid "dad what time is it?" I asked curiously "it's about 7:45 why?," he paused for a second "You're going to be late for school aren't you," he said, annoyed like it was his fault that I was going to be late for school. • 40. Write An Essay On Outliers By Malcolm Gladwell As I got older, my mother constantly told me that to achieve mastery over any one subject, you must get 10,000 hours of practice. This was a reference to the book Outliers, written by Malcolm Gladwell. My mother taught me to be honest, to believe in trust, and to never lie. This inspired me because it made me who I am. Through my life, I have never thought of who was inspiring me to go on; urging me to continue to do what I was doing and to strive and aspire for greater things. Now that I think of it, my mother was the one who was inspiring me. I admire my mom because she has a positive attitude, she works hard, and she explains things to me in a way that makes sense. My mother has a positive attitude. For example, when I accidentally spilled anti–bacterial soap on the wooden table, my mom thought positively and said that mistakes happen. In addition, when I was stressed about getting into All–County Orchestra, my mother said that I would get in and if I didn't, the world wasn't going to end. I admire her because she looks at the positives of everything and attempts to make light of some situations. I am inspired by my mother's positive, laid–back attitude. In addition, she is the definition of hard working. For example, during the tax season, she has to study for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
