3. The logo
The logo was a painting from 1899 which was
called his masters voice.
The painting was popular after rich people liked it
and lots of copies were made.
In 1921 the grammar phone company took the
painting name and idea which features a dog called
nipper listening to a grammar phone, which was
used as the original logo for the first HMV store in
oxford which then converted to a silhouette.
The painting was originally called dog looking and
listening into a grammar phone.
