                                         Team evaluation


   1) Discuss the affective team skills you brought to this assignment.


       An effective team skill can distribute a task effectively and use time wisely.

Meanwhile, it is very important to work collaborate. In this assignment, I have Shirley

and Yuanqing as my group member. We separate this assignment into three parts. Shirley

is going the implementation and Yuanqing is going to do the draw of the animals. Last

but not least, I am going to do the Health Resource Pamphlet. My role in this part is

going to find out the benefit of this physical activity and the purpose of why this activity

is good for preschooler. So, in the pamphlet work sheet, I list all the domains that related

to the activity and also the reason of why this activity is good for preschooler. Meanwhile,

I also attach pictures of the animals.


   2) In your opinion, how do you believe your team functioned?


       In my opinion, I believe my team function is the team work. First, we look

through this assignment and discuss how we are going to present and what kinds of

materials should we have. Next, we break this assignment into three parts, one is doing

the implementation and the other is going to draw the animals. So my job is going to

finish the pamphlet. While we are doing this assignment, we also share our ideas to each

other. If one disagree the idea, we find out the ideas that everyone agree with. So the

communication method we use is to call each other and we discuss at school. Finally,
when we finish each other’s part, we send to each member’s email, let everyone edit and

resend to each other’s email. Then, we finish our showcase assignment.


   3) What one area do you believe your team could have improved in? How will

       you support the improvement of this area in future group assignments?


   In our group, I think we need to improve our communication style. Not only to chat

each other by phone, but also spend time to meet each other. Although, we have some

discussion at school. More discussion would come out more ideas. Meanwhile, I think it

is going to near to the exam week; everyone is busying to do their works. That is why we

choose to chat online and talk on phone. Therefore, when we are going to do the future

group assignments, we will use our time wisely and spend much time to do our works

together.
Individual reflection


        It is very important to protect children’s health and safety. So when we are doing

this activity. First thing we need to do is to check the class is there any hazard things that

may hurt children’s safety. So it is very important to check the classroom safety and

provide enough space for children to move and make a circle. Any blocking area and

hazard things need to remove. Meanwhile, make sure that the floor is coved by the carpet

or the mat. It helps to protect children get hurt or slip.


        Not only we need to pay much attention on safety, but also on health. Through

our activity, it also helps children’s health because when children are pretending some of

the animals, it develops children’s physical domains and throughout exercise, it develops

health. Here is what we do, we say to the children that we are going to play an activity, it

is called, “imitate and guess.” Then, we imitate some animals’ sounds and later tell them

some characteristics of these animals. Next, let children guess what kinds of animals we

are talking about through our description. After children guess what the animal is and ask

them to pretend that animals. For example, when we ask the animal is a rabbit, we all

jump. Therefore, it develops all our physical domains because we are doing exercise. Do

more exercises can help children stay healthy.


        Next time, when we are doing this activity, we will consider it is supervision well

so that it protects the health of the children. Then, it is very important to make sure that

the activity is age appropriate.
