Will maintain close liaison with each other regarding project inspection matters and with
PMC Chief Inspector regarding critical inspection issues.
Will identify opportunities to use the same Company TPIA Inspector at Vendors works in
order to minimise duplication and overlap of inspectors and reduce expenses by sharing
resources.
Set-up and maintain the master inspection files.
Review Contractors quality control management programmes, relevant documents and

Monitor Contractor’s conformance/compliance with project requirements in the ITPs
and check that PMC required inspection points have been correctly entered.

Process correspondence, communications and reports required for the coordination of

Contractor in consultation with the PIC and PMT inspection representative will develop
an inspection plan to identify the proposed number of inspection visits by the Contractor
and Company TPIA that reflects the agreed level of inspection for all Purchase Orders.
The inspection plan will detail all Vendors and their specific geographic locations.
Will maintain and update the inspection plan for all planned inspection visits as well as
the inspection log sheet for all completed inspection visits.
Manage and report on Company TPIA Inspection costs on a monthly basis.
In exceptional circumstances, attend inspection activities on critical equipment as
directed by the PMC Management.
3. Request and review CVs of suitable TPIA Inspectors, when presented with a requirement
to use TPIA inspector.
Review the CVs of the Contractors Inspectors as applicable.
Select the most suitable TPIA Inspector for the required inspection activity giving due
consideration to the Vendor involved and the hourly rate charged by the
TPIA. Consult with PMC Chief Inspector regarding previous knowledge of past
performance of the TPIA inspectors in making a considered selection.
Will issue an inspection itinerary provided by Contractor, on a weekly basis, in
accordance with the agreed distribution list.
Audit visits may be carried out at Vendor works in accordance with the audit procedure,
5230-8830-PR-0002, to monitor that Contractor and Vendor maintain compliance with
Project QA/QC requirements.
Expedite Contractor for inspection and non-conformance/compliance reports
Review, log and distribute Contractors reports in accordance with the agreed distribution
list.
Review, log and distribute Company TPIA inspection reports in accordance with the
agreed distribution list. These reports will only be distributed following an internal
review process, and as such they will be considered official. Timing and resource issues
prevent signed copies being made available.
Track status, and ensure Contractor close out of NCRs at, or before, final inspection.
Will advise the PMC Project Procurement Manager and Engineer of any need for the
Contractor to change the level of inspection considered necessary for a particular
Purchase Order or Vendor. Once approved by Company/PMC any required increase in
the level of inspection will be communicated to the Contractor.
