Editor's Notes
I have always been a teller of stories, ever since I was a little boy I would tell stories, sometimes they would be about things that I witnessed and sometimes not.
I loved leaving people wondering whether or not I was telling them about an actual occurrence or maybe just creating pure fiction.
My name is Andrew Peat and I look forward to creating experiences both digital and analog for your enjoyment.
I hope that you love what I will produce as much as I will love making it for you.
Although I have called many different places home, I currently reside in the Bronx NY.
I live in an area where I can witness and sometimes participate in many different peoples traditions customs and practices; NY is truly the melting pot of America.
Living here and traveling across America has given me a unique perspective that I hope I can share with others.
I want to take people outside of themselves and hopefully make them see the world for the grand place it truly is
- A place where possibilities are endless and limits are only self-imposed.
I am originally from Jamaica in the West Indies I came to this country when I was just a small child of about three years of age.
My mother came to this country in order to make a better life for herself and her growing family.
I grew up with the desire to learn as much as possible about everything that I could, my appetite for books was voracious I read books like other kids ate candy.
I learned a lot from reading fiction I dare say almost as much as I did from reading academic text.
My love of reading and watching movies, television shows and documentaries are what lead me to this career path.
I always thought that I could do it better than the creators and writers of some show or another and have had many ideas that I wanted to do and now I am happy to finally be learning the craft that has captivated me for so many years.
Since attending Full Sail my thought process has changed tremendously, I have begun to think more visually and have gained a great amount of understanding about what it takes to complete a project successfully.
I look forward to graduating but before then I plan to aggressively create a body a body of work that I will be proud to show others
I want my audience to feel the like they are a part of the worlds that I create.
I want them to care about the characters I make and to feel there pain, there joy and to cheer for them to win, or wish for them to lose.
I will always push myself to achieve greatness and not strive for mediocrity.
This drive is what I think separates me from the pack.
I don’t want to just follow.
I want to build on the lessons taught by other great filmmakers, authors and teachers.
I am hardworking, conscientious as well as dedicated to bringing you high quality entertainment.
My name is Andrew Peat look out for my name you will be seeing it soon!
