1. Cutting the starfish shape sides
251460099695The Date: 25th January 2011
What You Did: Yesterday I have finished measuring and mark out the sides of starfish shape, so today, I started to cut all of the sides that I measure and mark out. There are 26 sides that I have to cut I think. It may be taking sometimes to finish cutting all of the sides.
Changes To Your Plan: This week I supposed to finish measuring and marking out the sides, and I finished measuring and marking out the sides. So I begin to cut my sides.
Emotions: While cutting the sides of my product, I was really tired. Today I cut it only 10 pieces of sides, but still left about 16 pieces. It was really tired job, but it was fun to start cutting, while cutting the sides I can release the stress that I get in this week and I feel happy because the progress is goes out.
What’s Next: First I will cut the sides that I‘ve measured and marked the sides.
After finish cutting the sides, I will check that I can stick them together. So I can make my product perfectly.
Areas of Interaction and Learner Profiles: I think I was principled on that day. The reason why I think I was principled is because I listened to Mr. Anderson’s advice that I have to change my product’s shape.
Why: If the shape don’t have any angles, it would be hard to make it, so I listened to Mr. Anderson’s advice and let the shape have angles. If my product have angles, it will be easy to make my product to star shape.
Tools: To cut the starfish shape sides I have to use tenon Saw, Plywood, Wood Vice and Bench Hook. The tenon saw is to cut the plywood that I have to use for my product. And wood vice is to grab the bench hook while I am cutting the plywood.
