CI350 9-23-14
ANALYSIS OF THE LEARNER 
 9th-12th Grade, General Education 
 Age Range: 14 to 18 years old 
 25 Students: 13 Girls, 12 Boys 
 Ethnic Makeup: 75% Caucasian, 20% African American, 5% Latino 
 3 Students have mild ADHD
MAIN OBJECTIVE 
 My students will demonstrate a deeper understanding of DNA after comparing and 
contrasting it to RNA, completing a DNA extraction lab, watching videos, and creating their 
own poster for DNA by the end of the week with a 90% accuracy.
